About The Position
The Technical Architect (IAM) is responsible for establishing current and long-range direction of enterprise application technologies aimed at keeping the organization on the forefront of change for our transformation to an agile product-focused culture. This position will focus on application architecture activities for our digital development teams that support enterprise strategies and objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college or university, preferably in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or business. Master's Degree preferred. Ten or more years of experience in IT with demonstrated experience in solution/system design/security/identity engineering required. Demonstrated experience in application systems analysis and design, and agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills
Preferred technical skills include experience with agile methodologies, ForgeRock, directory services, Jira/Confluence (or similar tools), cloud services with AWS, testing frameworks, GitHub, Jenkins, SOAP and REST web services, MuleSoft ESB, AnyPoint API management, identity and access management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC), experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g. security, privacy, PCI, SOX, HIPAA, etc.), and experience with using a variety of open source technologies.

The role regularly audits Health & Safety program effectiveness via periodic inspections to monitor compliance with safety procedures; evaluates incidents and their causes and makes preventative recommendations to Leadership. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BS degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in occupational safety administration or engineering, and 5 or more years' experience in a related industry or equivalent combination of education and experience. Refining or chemical industry experience is preferred. Experience with applicable regulations is to include the following: (a) Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), (b) National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), (c) National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), (d) Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and (e) American Petroleum Institute (API).
Strong listening, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills that demonstrate enthusiasm to succeed, and support a comprehensive (occupational, off-the job and wellness) commitment to employee health & safety.
Must be computer literate including spreadsheet software programs, and must be an effective communicator in both oral and written correspondence. Applicant must have the ability to present compelling information in a group setting.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
A valid/current driver's license to operate a motor vehicle in the U.S
Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) strongly preferred. Other professional designations (CSP/ASP/CHCM and the like) are desired.
