Sales Engineer - Dallas


I am currently recruiting for a qualified Sales Engineer to join a large Industrial Automation organization. This role will be located in Dallas, with the assigned territory being in the greater DFW area and in Oklahoma. This individual will need to have prior experience in this space with an emphasis on compressor technology. Please review the following:

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with key accounts in assigned territory
  • Design and engineer compressed air solutions
  • Track customer and provide reports accordingly using CRM tool
  • Support and grow local sub-distribution
  • Increase rapport with customer via effective troubleshooting of current system and offering solutions
  • Develop understanding of competitive landscape in compressor market
  • Stay current with developments in all products and offerings
  • Provide training to customers and sub-distribution
  • This role will potentially be remote, with the target sales territory being in North Texas and Oklahoma

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred; degree in Business, Marketing or Management considered with supplemental technical training or experience
  • 2 - 5 years controls experience preferred
  • General knowledge of industrial products including automation and controls, including but not limited to high pressure air compressors and rotating equipment
  • Ability to create and manage marketing plans and strategies
  • Self-motivated, self-starter
  • Ability to work independently
