Wisconsin-based solar developer is looking to add a full-time Wisconsin Licensed Master Electrician to their Solar Construction Team. Projects are commercial scale and located throughough Wisonsin, Minnesota, Illinois, California and Arizona. The Mater Electrician will supervise, lead, direct and coordinate electrical installations at its construction/work site(s), ensuring work is performed productively, safely and with the expected quality meeting all NEC requirements.

Essential Job Functions

  • Supervise the electrical installation of commercial rooftop, ground-mounted, carp ports, and Electric Vehicle charging stations solar PV systems.
  • Oversee team of electricians, subcontractors, and other trades to promote a coordinated and efficient installation both inside and out of the field.
  • Project management duties including setting up jobs, assistance with bidding, estimating, and materials procurement.
  • Communicate with management and clients in connection with field issues.
  • Investigate and resolve field issues.
  • Manage the work to ensure that it is installed in compliance with and conforms to the project plans and approved contract documents.
  • Pull permits as necessary, with the assistance of administration staff.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Contribute to overall company improvements and decisions.
  • Provide technical support for business development teams.
  • Acquire licensing in other jurisdictions as needed by the company.



Requirements

  • Wisconsin Master Electrician License, with desire to be licensed in other states/hold licenses in several states.
  • 5 years' experience working as a Superintendent or Project Manager
  • Must be able to read and comprehend electrical plans and specifications
  • NFPA 70E training (preferred)
  • Must be able to adapt and adjust quickly to changes
  • Able to work in heat, cold, rain environment
  • Must be able to stand, kneel, crouch, twist, work in tight areas, and climb a ladder
  • OSHA 30
  • Open to travel up to 40%
