Regulatory Package Manager

Our client is seeking a Full-Time Regulatory Packing Manager to support US based LNG export facility and service the global demand for North American natural gas. This Arlington or Houston-based position will support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • FERC Implementation Plan Expertise: A deep understanding of the FERC implementation plan process is vital for this role. The FERC IP Package Manager will navigate and oversee the intricacies of compliance with FERC regulations.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders throughout the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) phase of a project is essential. Effective collaboration and communication are paramount.

  • Strategic Planning: The role involves strategic planning, linking engineering deliverables to FERC conditions and construction activities. Attention to detail is crucial in this aspect.

  • Compliance Oversight: Proposing, coordinating, and executing compliance oversight activities aimed at ensuring the company's adherence to relevant FERC requirements.

  • FERC Monitoring: Keeping a vigilant eye on FERC proceedings and rulemakings related to energy and gas markets, tariffs, and policy matters. Staying abreast of regulatory changes is imperative.


  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is a prerequisite for this role.

  • Regulatory Experience: Ideally, candidates should possess 1-3 years of experience in a Regulatory interface position, specifically in the preparation of implementation plans.

  • Industry Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in the refining and petrochemical industry, especially in LNG projects.

  • US LNG Expertise: Familiarity with US LNG projects and knowledge of applicable US LNG codes and standards is highly desirable.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong logistics, time management, planning, and scheduling skills are essential for success in this role.

  • Effective Communication: The ability to interface and communicate effectively with diverse groups, including project staff, operations staff, maintenance staff, and engineering departments, is critical.

  • Safety Awareness: Demonstrated awareness of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols and practices.
