Our client is seeking a Full-Time Regulatory Packing Manager to support US based LNG export facility and service the global demand for North American natural gas. This Arlington or Houston-based position will support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
FERC Implementation Plan Expertise: A deep understanding of the FERC implementation plan process is vital for this role. The FERC IP Package Manager will navigate and oversee the intricacies of compliance with FERC regulations.
Stakeholder Coordination: Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders throughout the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) phase of a project is essential. Effective collaboration and communication are paramount.
Strategic Planning: The role involves strategic planning, linking engineering deliverables to FERC conditions and construction activities. Attention to detail is crucial in this aspect.
Compliance Oversight: Proposing, coordinating, and executing compliance oversight activities aimed at ensuring the company's adherence to relevant FERC requirements.
FERC Monitoring: Keeping a vigilant eye on FERC proceedings and rulemakings related to energy and gas markets, tariffs, and policy matters. Staying abreast of regulatory changes is imperative.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is a prerequisite for this role.
Regulatory Experience: Ideally, candidates should possess 1-3 years of experience in a Regulatory interface position, specifically in the preparation of implementation plans.
Industry Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in the refining and petrochemical industry, especially in LNG projects.
US LNG Expertise: Familiarity with US LNG projects and knowledge of applicable US LNG codes and standards is highly desirable.
Organizational Skills: Strong logistics, time management, planning, and scheduling skills are essential for success in this role.
Effective Communication: The ability to interface and communicate effectively with diverse groups, including project staff, operations staff, maintenance staff, and engineering departments, is critical.
Safety Awareness: Demonstrated awareness of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols and practices.
