UX Designer

250 - £350 per day

Job scope (budget, management, specific criteria):

As part of a product development team working to Agile principles, the product designer will be responsible for translating user requirements into functioning applications. Value proposition techniques will be used to develop solutions and prioritise functionality in line with the business drivers. Experience in successful user mapping journeys, sitemaps and navigation will be needed when presenting wireframes and interaction concepts. Ideas and designs will be presented for feedback within the team to developers, product managers and stakeholders so an ability to communicate well between these disciplines is imperative.

Within this role strong knowledge of user research methodologies are essential in ensuring the best and most powerful designs decisions are made. In addition the ability to carry out user testing, piloting and demonstration of the business case will be an aspect of the role.

UX Designer

Minimum Experience:

  • Experience with design tools like Adobe Illustrator, Sketch, Invision, Zeplin
  • 2 years of UX/Interaction Design or similar role
  • Degree in Product Design, Graphic Design, Interaction/UX Design, Service Design, Systems Oriented Design

Advantageous Experience:

  • Experimenting with constructions in software as well as on paper and transforming them into design ready elements for our digital products
