Requirements:

- 20 years of Mechanical Discipline experience in a Refinery and Petrochem

- 20 years of Mechanical Construction experience in a Refinery and Petrochem

- Area Maintenance Engineer or Project Engineer in a reputable Oil and Gas Company

- A bachelor's degree in mechanical or higher

- Passionate dedication to maintaining safe operations enforcing strict conformance with all government regulations, and applicable company procedures and policies

- Excellent knowledge in international standards, petroleum/ petrochemical plant materials and equipment

- Experience of maintenance work control and planning

- Strong decision making abilities under pressure and innovative to generate new ideas

- Strong problem solving skills;

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Excellent skills for coaching, supervision and motivation for employees;

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Reports to the Project Manager.
  2. Manages, directs and supervises the engineering, development, procurement and construction of assigned Capex Projects in the Refinery and Petrochemical Facility.
  3. Responsible for the engineering and development of projects in accordance with standards
  4. Handover and close-out of projects as per management procedure.
  5. Preparation of scope of work and material and equipment specification to initiate the procurement phase of the project. This also includes the evaluation of bids submitted by the contractors.
  6. Planning and scheduling from execution (FID) to commissioning (RFSU) phases of the project.
  7. Monitoring and control of project costs, which will be reported monthly.
  8. Maintain liaison with other Refinery Departments and Sections, Consultants, Contractors, and other service providers that would result in the completion of Excellent (Safety, Quality, Cost and Schedule) projects.
  9. Implementation of projects in accordance with the approved Projects HSE Implementing Program.
  10. Supervises HSSE critical activities.
  11. Performs other tasks as delegated by immediate supervisor.
