Quality Engineer
Fort Worth, TX

We are working with an industry leading oil and gas equipment manufacturer who are looking for an additional Quality Engineer to join their rapidly growing team.

Quality Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the quality system, is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with standards such as ISO 9001:2015
  • Review contracts, drawings, routings, purchase orders, shop instructions and various related production and development plans for quality requirements
  • Assist qualification of new manufactured quality products
  • Investigate all client complaints and issues
  • Identify root cause and respond with corrective action
  • Develop and execute plans for quality and control to ensure constant manufacturing continuity and product conformance
  • Participate as Material Review Board member to review and temper Non-Conforming Material as suitable
  • Manage and oversee source inspection activities along with supervise quality documents
  • Ensure compliance to internal and external management systems (CLMS, ISO 9001, API Q1, etc.)
  • Conduct audits of supplier quality system and approve new suppliers along with verify ongoing supplier compliance
  • Involve as internal auditor for ISO 9001:2015 process audits of quality management systems
  • Develop and execute statistical process controls utilizing apt quality tools plus statistical techniques
  • Develop and maintain positive relations and effectual communication lines with all functions, vendors and clients
  • Prepare, supervise and report suitable and effectual metrics monitoring assigned processes effectiveness
  • Experience working process issues such as Key Process Indicators (KPI) and/or Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) projects is desirable
  • Support quality goals and objectives along with activities to identify, explain and resolve quality issues


Quality Engineer Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree in Engineering/Manufacturing related subject
  • Certified Internal Auditor - ISO 9001:2015
  • 3 years of Auditing experience
  • 5 years of Manufacturing (Precision Machining) experience
  • Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
