Role Synopsis (NTID & Candidate details for facilitated moves) Global Subsea Systems is responsible for the specification, design, delivery, and maintenance of Subsea Production Systems (SPS). This includes components from the wellhead through to flow line entry as well as miscellaneous topsides elements. acts as single face to the subsea hardware suppliers for equipment design procurement, storage, maintenance, and onshore repair.
The Subsea Engineer for Manifold and Connection Systems discipline engineering will lead engineering execution of manifolds and connection systems scope across projects in the Eastern Hemisphere, as well as support the development of engineering standards related to equipment.
Key Accountabilities:
* Provide support to project teams as needed in the development of system requirements, such as Subsea Basis of Design, P&IDs, field layouts, system schematics, etc.;
* Develop/review project scopes of work, functional requirements, SDRLs, hardware equipment lists, design verification plans, etc. in support of hardware RFQs;
* Provide input to suppler technical bid evaluations;
* Provide regular status reports to lead engineer for manifold and connection systems;
* Perform design verification activities (e.g. equipment design reviews, drawing & analysis reviews and test & installation procedure reviews);
* Review technology readiness assessments and qualification plans, procedures and reports against API 6A/17D requirements for subsea connection systems;
* Develop, review, endorse engineering decision papers;
* Review and endorse supplier deviation requests, change requests, technical queries, and interface requests;
* Liaise with SMEs to provide technical support to project teams, delivery teams and suppliers for resolution of engineering issues.
* Develop and collate lessons learned for manifold and connection system equipment and disseminate across projects;
* Contribute constructability perspectives in equipment design and constructability reviews, fabrication readiness reviews.
* Perform fabrication site visits for pre-production meetings, testing support and HSSE influence;
* Support planning of aftermarket activities, including development of scopes of work, development of SIT procedures, etc;
* Provide support and input to Subsea Construction Team as required for development of installation and commissioning plans/procedures, rigging design and analysis, and execution of offshore activities and troubleshooting;



Essential Experience and Job Requirements

Must hold a Bachelor's in Engineering Degree


* 6 years of oilfield experience, including major plant or process piping construction;
* Technical expertise with manifolds, foundations, jumpers/ spools, connectors and valves;
* Knowledge of subsea hardware suppliers' engineering and manufacturing processes and constraints and knowledge of standard equipment offerings from suppliers;
* Experienced in application of industry standards and codes related to subsea hardware and systems including API 6A & 17D, ASME BPVC, ASME B31.8, API RP-17P, API RP-17R, API RP-2A, and API RP-2GEO as well as ISO, DNV and NORSOK equivalent specifications;
* Experience in performing or reviewing piping and structural analyses for manifolds, foundations and/or jumpers;
* Experience with factory acceptance testing requirements for subsea equipment;
* Knowledge of structural and piping fabrication and NDE;
* Knowledge of common subsea hardware materials of construction;
* Professional Accreditation (PE or Chartership).

Desirable Criteria:
* Knowledge of installation methodologies and installation interfaces with manifold and connection system equipment;
* Knowledge of major valve suppliers and their standard equipment offerings;
* Knowledge of production control equipment and its interfaces with manifold and connection system equipment;
* Broad experience with major projects through full project life cycle;
* Knowledge of processes for change management, risk management, deviation requests, and reliability planning and management.

Job Purpose:

  • To support the functions based at the Corporate Centre (CC) meeting their objectives through maximising value for the company through the delivery of strategic/tactical sourcing initiatives, management of operational procurement (P2P) and supplier performance management.
  • The role is dedicated to the support the Information Systems ("IS") function, working in the team of three (two team members reporting to the Category Lead) that Supply Chain Management function dedicate to IS. It will focus on procurement of computer hardware and services. It is not a generalist indirect procurement role.


Responsibilities /Key Objectives:

  • Take ownership of allocated categories of IT hardware, networks, telecommunications and infrastructure spend, develop and implement category strategies, close liaison/working with Contract Holders to understand requirements, review and plan demand.

Incumbent will be responsible for the development and implementation of policies, processes and systems that ensure an exemplary health and safety culture as well as a strong focus on the environment globally. The role provides coaching, support and advice to the Wells Management Team on HSE matters. The incumbent shall drive and assist the formulation and implementation of the Well Delivery HSE Management Strategy, plans, procedures, practices and organisation across global Well Delivery Campaigns. The ability to understand and integrate complex and conflicting needs and priorities in support of 24/7 operations, is imperative. Management of interfaces with internal and external partners is another important aspect of the position.   • 5years experience in HSE leadership position in Oil and gas industry.
  • Demonstrated experience of leading and developing a team or teams of employees in a matrix organization

QA Engineer

Petroplan Holdings is recruiting for the role of QA Engineer, to work within the Contracts & Procurement Department of a major Oil and Gas operator, based in the UK.
Reporting to the Quality Assurance & Asset Integrity Manager, the Quality Assurance Engineer is primarily responsible for supporting the C&P Team during procurement activities through Quality Control Coordination and deployment of Third-Party Inspectors (TPIs) to supplier/ manufacturer facilities in line with Review/ Witness/Hold points as per Purchas Order requirements and/or approved Inspection & Test Plans ITPs.

The QA Engineer shall:

  • Ensure supplier quality plans and associated normative QA vendor documents meet project specifications requirements;
  • Assist review of supplier quality plans, ITPs, material certificates, NDE and test procedures as well as test results/records
  • Coordinate Nominated Inspection Body (NIB) and deployment of TPIs in accordance with ITPs and manufacturing schedules;
  • Generate Call-Off Requests and Work Orders for NIBs for the provision of inspectors in line with the associated AFEs and project scope;
  • Ensure surveillance inspection is planned, arranged and conducted for critical steps in the manufacturing, test, assembly and service provision (where surveillance is required) including:
  • Review TPI inspection reports and inspection release notes and liaise with Discipline Engineer/Project Manager to share reports
  • Review Criticality Assessments, Deviation Requests and Concession Requests, in conjunction with the Discipline Engineer;
  • Advising or giving opinion to the Discipline Engineer on whether exceptions, deviations and concessions should be accepted or rejected;
  • Assisting in the measurement of supplier performance;
  • Review and approval of NI B time sheets;
  • Verify vendor compliance with industry standards API, ASME, ISO, NACE, DS1 & DS2
  • Identify opportunities to deliver continuous improvement in Procurement quality, including process efficiency.

  • Ensure the quality of their deliverables while respecting the agreed schedule.
  • Interfaces with associated subsea related disciplines and understands the interfaces within a project environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collating government and contract compliance reports under Production Sharing Contracts on a quarterly, half yearly and annual basis ensuring reporting commitments are satisfied.

Co-ordination, collation and delivery of various management and government reporting packs.

Assist in preparing budget and forecast presentation materials for use by management. Packaging information into visually neat presentation format requiring conversion of financial information into graphical formats and messages.

Review and document internal controls to ensure compliance with policies and standards.

Support annual group year-end audit and ad hoc Joint Venture, cost recovery and tax audits.

Working with other teams and disciplines to coordinate budget/forecast/reporting inputs, requiring the ability to build relationships, achieve challenging deadlines and timelines.

Assist with preparation of annual tax returns and quarterly tax returns.

Assist with preparation of external regulatory reporting.

Month-end duties including:

  • Preparing bank reconciliations and intercompany confirmations
  • Calculation, preparation & input of journal entries for E&P companies
  • Update financial models on a monthly basis
  • Running of the financial reports and exception reports to ensure system controls are being adhered to

Maintain accurate and complete supporting documentation for all of the above.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Economics/accounting/ business degree desirable (min 2:1) and strong A-levels (incl. maths).

Familiarity with oil production sharing contracts - highly desirable.

2 years experience as a Finance Analyst (E&P company or similar business environment preferred).

An interest in or already studying either CIMA or ACCA.

Strong numerical skills which will be tested at interview stage.

Good Interpersonal / communication skills.

Advanced IT skills with a demonstrable aptitude for accounting systems, Excel and PowerPoint and a keen interest in developing financial analysis skills as it relates to the budgeting and forecasting process.

Familiarity of basic valuation/return terminology.

Highly organised, detail orientated with a high level of attention to detail.
