Petroplan are looking to recruit a Document controller for London and another Document Controller for Berlin.

This will be a long term 20 month contract and you will work Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate shall be sufficiently skilled and competent and provide the following services for ensuring all the project requirements:

  • Become familiar with the Project EDMS
  • Attend Kick off Meetings with the External Providers
  • Carry out training on the EDMS, internally and to external parties
  • Quality check of internal documents as well as External Provider documentation
  • Provide support to the project teams on all Document Control matters
  • Maintaining the Project/Package
  • Manage native files of internally produced documents
  • Manage document distribution via a Document Transmittal Notice
  • Distribute external documents to the package teams
  • Ensure comment sheets are completed and stored for review cycles
  • Prepare progress reports as required
  • Documents outstanding/overdue
  • Documents received on time
  • Documents due to be submitted
  • Review documents before being issued
  • Participate in Project meetings as necessary, in any location they may be held
  • Manage Documentation according to the Project requirements
  • Manage documents via sites for large documents

Candidate should be a qualified and widely experienced Document Controllers with backgrounds in Offshore Construction projects to carry out the scope described.

Job Spec:

Reporting to C&P Manager the Supply Chain Assistant's main responsibilities will be to support the supply chain team based in the London.

The Supply Chain Assistant is to be responsible for:


Maintenance of personnel trackers and service receipting of all contractors timesheets.
Liaison to support invoice queries in relation to contractor's services.
Procurement support - buyer role for certain aspects of procurement and generation of Work Order Requests (to include for logistical services, inspection activities and manpower).
Manage new supplier registration with London Compliance.

Provide general administration support in relation to Invitations to Tender.

Job Description

This is a six month role for a senior environmental engineer or scientist to lead the environmental input to some key environmental technology programmes including:

  • Work with the team climate science modeller lead the approach and continue the development and deployment of climate modelling to help assess potential impacts from severe weather and climate change.
  • provide science based understanding of climate change related to our energy transition as relevant to key aspects of the environmental technology work programmes
  • support our key climate research programme with Princeton university by helping with communications, meetings and disseminating information
  • finalise and implement the company approach to life cycle analysis to support our dual challenge of provision of energy and reducing emissions.
  • Provide technical support and manage robust environmental input to our business venture investment due diligence
  • Support ongoing work in the team to understand negative emission technologies, particularly those related to biological processes and help support key insights and possible opportunities for the energy transition.
  • Provide technical leadership in some key environmental areas and manage projects such as helping to understand the provenance and impact of poor urban air quality.
  • Link with the ongoing work on circular economy to provide environmental technical support and insights to maximise synergies with other environmental technology focus areas.
  • Ad hoc support to a variety of environmentally related work that might include an ongoing study into the circular economy and broader environmental issue evaluation.


The role will primarily be expected to conduct research and analysis and present findings to group technology and relevant businesses. When it is appropriate, the role will liaise between the internal requestors for information, source a suitable external consultant or research partner to undertake the work, and manage it through to completion including reviewing outputs and disseminating them back to the original requestor.

Educational Requirements

  • Relevant environmental engineering or science degree (e.g. Chemical engineer or environmental science) and /or relevant Masters


Experience and Job Requirements

  • Deep and broad working knowledge of environmental issues and impacts associated with oil and gas primarily but also experience of environmental issues associated with renewable energy and other energy vectors is desirable.
  • Proven history of managing and delivering technical work to a high quality that meets the needs of key stakeholders
  • Underpins insights and recommendations with sound scientific and technical data analysis and follows good quality control practices.
  • Experience of working successfully at senior level in a multinational corporation.

A Development Manager is required to work on a staff opportunity with a leading client of ours in Europe. The development manager will require a broad set of skills from subsurface through to project economics.

The development manager will require the ability to structure high-level development strategies from often poorly known assets, where an infinite number of development options could exist.

Main Duties and Accountabilities

  • Involvement in the early identification of opportunities working closely with company CGO and NBD managers. This requires desktop reviews of data room information, regular traveling to meet with the potential business partners and doing high level screening evaluations.
  • Making the case for the business opportunity, through putting together a set of technical/economic reports, outlining the key performance indicators of the opportunity (NPV, CAPEX, OPEX, sensitivity to main uncertainties), the main alternatives and articulating the development strategy to be followed.
  • Actively manage and contribute to the technical work, which is a mix of in-house engineering work (feasibility & concept select level) and outsourced engineering work (FEED, basic design).
  • Defining scope of work for feasibility/ concept or feed work to be performed by external parties and organising tendering and award process.
  • Interfacing with the reservoir-engineering department to ensure an integrated development approach between facilities and reservoir/ wells development plan.
  • Approaching the field development with key basic understanding of the facilities required through high-level process simulation using HYSYS.
  • Managing the outsourced facilities engineering work, typically made of 2 to 8 weeks study periods, and very often provided out of UK, Netherlands, Italy, and Greece.
  • Engaging with external service providers to maintain good overview of technology available and maximise their early contribution to the studies.
  • Participating in business meetings (once a month in average) to learn more about the opportunity or development partnerships.
  • Supporting existing operations focusing on medium to long-term growth opportunities: green field tie back, Enhanced Oil Recovery, Gas monetisation.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience within Upstream Oil & Gas Industry
  • Master level education or equivalent in Petroleum Engineering
  • Knowledge level in Subsurface: basic knowledge in reservoir and well engineering
  • Knowledge level in Flow Assurance: for steady state analysis of simple pipeline systems
  • Skill level in Surface Facilities: Good process engineering skills with ability to develop basic and robust Hysys/ Hysis models autonomously
  • Knowledge level in Economics: Ability to put together a basic Project economic evaluation tool
  • Excellent written & presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical & synthesis skills
  • Excellent command in English (written & verbal)

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE
My client is looking for an Installation / Field Development (FD) & Technical Tenders Engineer to work in the Pipeline Group based out of their London office. The role covers the installation engineering support to be provided to Field Development groups and country pursuit teams as part of their early engagement strategy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering fit for purpose rigid pipeline installation engineering work on Field Development studies and FEEDs related to S&J or Reel pipe laying operations with specific focus on safe and cost-effective installation solutions. Skills:

  • Proven industry experience (strong well engineering practical and technical experience essential)
  • Extensive previous experience and knowledge of land (remote) & offshore based exploration and development drilling activities
  • Recognition of importance of HSE
  • Understanding of Geological and Petroleum Engineering priorities and well associated requirements
  • Well budgets and cost allocation and monitoring; cost optimization techniques
  • Good knowledge and skills in use of applications software for well & completion design

Export Compliance Specialist

This role is responsible for providing subject matter expertise to ensure compliance with export regulations applicable to the international procurement and shipment of materials.


Responsibilities / Key Tasks:


* Classify materials for export and provide guidance and assistance for classification of materials.
* Interface with suppliers and/or manufacturers to determine and/or validate classifications of materials.
* Create, update and maintain a database of classified materials.
* Monitor/review purchase orders and proposed exports to ensure compliance with export control laws.
* Interface with Category Management and Materials Management teams to ensure compliance with export control laws.
* Assist in developing, deploying and maintaining export control processes, procedures and systems.
* Provide role-specific export compliance training to Category Management and Materials Management personnel.


Requirement:


* Demonstrate skill level and knowledge appropriate to role in export control laws and regulations.
* Practical experience in a similar role sufficient to justify status as a subject matter expert.
* Demonstrate ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across multiple disciplines, cultures and geographies, across organizational boundaries and levels.
* Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills enabling effective communication.
* Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; capable of adopting a variety of styles to achieve desired results.
* Strong work ethic and ability to work creatively to achieve identified goals.
* Strong analytical problem-solving skills with ability to follow through on operational detail.


Desirable Criteria:


* Education and/or certifications in export compliance.
* Experience with Harmonized Tariff Schedule classifications.
* Experience designing and implementing an export control program in a multinational organization.
* Experience implementing an automated export management software solution and configuring license determination processes.
* Experience with SAP transaction reporting.
