Ability to spend 50% of time traveling Safety Requirements Extensive knowledge of 1926 29CFR laws and regulations. Compliance with federal/state/local law, industry and client standards, and company safety policies. PERFORMANCE STANDARDS Essential Job Functions * Help develop the contractor management safety programs * Train construction management team on policies and procedures * Develop site specific health and safety plans * Visit active job sites and perform safety audits of contractors * Report deficiencies and safety violations to VP of Construction * Help contractors remedy deficiencies and violations * Be involved in plant start ups to ensure safety policies and procedures are implemented (i.e. LOTO) * Conduct safety orientation for new hires * Conduct job site safety stand down as required. * Verify that all Morrow employees have the proper PPE * Assist with incident investigations as needed * Assist VP of construction in evaluating prospective contractors' safety policies and practices By signing below I acknowledge this job description has been discussed with me and I have been provided with a copy.
