  • Ensures material is labeled properly as per product, quality, and production requirements

Position Summary
Administers and monitors contract performance on government and commercial contracts. May
assist with the negotiation and administration of agreements between the company/customers/subcontractors/vendors ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administers and monitors contract performance on government contracts

  • Responsible for reviewing contract solicitation terms, handling contract award confirmations, interpreting agreement terms and conditions and identifying potential issues, reviewing agreement amendments / modifications and incorporating changes
  • Reviews contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, identifies risks and areas of concern on contract terms and conditions and provides contractual advice, guidance and support to the contract lead / program and operations managers
  • Responds to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions
  • Conducts fulfillment of contract deliverables, billings and cash collections
  • Proposal preparation for customer requirements
  • Prepares and analyzes moderately complex price proposals
  • Participates in TINA implementation/sweeps
  • Negotiates standard terms and conditions
  • Monitors contract performance and cost controls and ensures compliance with contract terms
  • Prepares teaming agreements, MOU's, MOA's, and domestic and international consultant/sales representative agreements and other contractual agreements
  • Under direction, prepares contractual documents, including the preparation of contract terms and conditions, and assembles contract documentation package
  • Participates in management review of proposals/contracts and in the conduct of program reviews
  • Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends Company's' mission, values and culture

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years related experience. Bachelors degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
  • Strong understanding of contract/Purchase Order terms and conditions and detailed knowledge of the government contracting process including sole source and competitive procurements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the terms and conditions appropriate for different contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, T&M, IDIQ, etc.) and their proper use
  • Strong knowledge of government intellectual property (IP)/ software and data rights clauses and IP marking guidelines
  • Detailed knowledge of source selection / evaluation process including cost and price analysis
  • Strong knowledge of requirements for and experienced in administration of government property
  • Detailed knowledge of government contract administration duties including subcontract flow downs, change management, inspection, acceptance, payment, warranty, close-out and records retention
  • Detailed knowledge and thorough understanding of proper drafting, negotiation and use of contracts, subcontracts, P.O.'s teaming and other forms of agreements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Contract / agreement briefing, negotiation and review experience

Our client, a mid-sized Operator within the petro-chemical field, are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee a major greenfield project in Louisiana.
Ideal candidates will come from a strong field based background and have been involved in major capital Projects from project execution through to commissioning and operations.

The Construction Manager is responsible for the overall field construction effort in which he/she is assigned. The position is supported by the project support functions within the Engineering Group, Engineering Contractors, and Project Construction Management staff. The Construction Manager is responsible for the overall management of the field construction and contractors' construction efforts.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Assists the Site Construction Manager with ensuring the workforce is committed to the Incident and Injury Free philosophy, creating a safe working environment.
  • Manages a safety program that complies with OSHA's standards, and the Project HSSE Plan.
  • Assists the Site Construction Manager with ensuring quality work from contractors and tier subcontractors meets or exceeds heavy industrial quality standards, project specifications, procedures, and design drawing requirements.
  • Assists the Site Construction Manager with ensuring the contractors and tier subcontractors are qualified to perform their assigned duties on the project.
  • Reviews and monitor field work schedules and ensure contractors and tier subcontractors compliance to the construction schedule and budget
  • Manages and directs the field construction staff
  • Responsible for managing, coordinating, and monitoring contractors and tier subcontractors to ensure proper execution of construction according to contract terms and conditions, and in accordance with the project's plans, specifications, and standards
  • Review, comment, or approve contractor field changes to the contractors' and tier subcontractors' scope of work prior to the changes being performed
  • Maintains a daily log of all pertinent events to the project and submits the log to the Site Construction Manager at the end of the project
  • Assists the Site Construction Manager with preparing the final close out report


Experience / Education

  • Construction Management Degree preferred
  • 10 years of experience in construction management required
  • Proficient in MS Office and Visio required; Bluebeam & Adobe preferred
  • Team player and excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required
  • Skilled in reading drawings, technical writing, understanding of specifications, codes, and standards
  • Knowledgeable of governmental and agency permits

Job Overview

Job Overview

Responsible for providing rotating equipment reliability strategies, systems and engineering advice to allow the Maintenance Department to cost effectively achieve plant availability and reliability requirements, comply with all relevant and statutory legislation and meet the requirements of all internal standards and procedures.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Works under general direction from the Reliability Supervisor and is responsible for performing detailed reliability studies and detailed calculations of component/system reliabilities.
  • Originates and develops analysis methods for determining reliability of components, equipment, and processes.
  • Maintains lifecycle evaluations of mechanical equipment in order to proactively determine, in a timely fashion, opportunities for dealing with equipment obsolescence.
  • Acquires data and analyzes the data. Prepares diagram, charts, drawings, calculations and reports for defining reliability problems and makes recommendations for improvements.
  • Conducts an analysis of reliability problems and investigates to determine the reliability required for the particular situation considering the cost limitations for equipment up/down time, repair/replacement costs and availability of materials/equipment.


Experience / Education

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred; or other relevant Engineering discipline
  • 10 years' experience in the Petrochemical or related industry preferred.
  • 10 years' experience with large rotating equipment (>25,000 Kw) preferred.
  • 5 years Maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience with development and implementation of Strategy
  • Experience with Predictive and Preventative Maintenance programs
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis
  • Experience in Condition Based Monitoring, Bentley Nevada (or similar), Vibration analysis and Lubrication analysis.
  • Knowledgeable in computer software such as MS Excel, MS Word, and Maximo (or other similar ERP)
  • Experience in internal consulting and presentations, including strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to formulate and communicate sound recommendations.
