A high caliber Production Engineering Manager is required for a three year residential assignment in Doha. Candidates must be Engineering degree qualified and have above 15 years of industry experience.

  1. Production Reporting and Systems:
    • Issue daily, monthly and yearly departmental production reports.
    • Maintain accurate well testing validation, back allocation and down time reporting.
    • Maintain internal reporting for effective communication facilitating the attainment of business objectives.
    • Upkeep and maintenance of well models (Prosper, GAP, IVM/IFM), real time data streams (OSI-PI) and production database (Avocet).
  2. Production Optimization:
    • Ensure daily optimization of oil production and water injection for ISND Field. with use of nodal analysis models.
    • Ensure design, specification, implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting of artificial lift operations for production and water injection source wells are optimized to maximize production and meet production targets.
    • Record and analyze production and injection losses/ shortfalls.
    • Coordinate with Asset Development to incorporate current and future operating conditions into production forecasts and targets and to evaluate alternative scenarios.
    • Assure water injection targets supplied by Asset Development are managed to maximize waterflood efficiency.
    • Provide input to Facilities, Engineering and Construction planning to ensure artificial lift efficiencies, gathering system efficiencies and operating practices efficiencies are maintained or improved.
    • Provide inputs to capital and operating expense budgeting activities.
  3. Well Servicing Activities:
    • Coordinate with Asset Development to incorporate data acquisition and intervention programs
    • Propose, review and approve well servicing / intervention requests related to production performance
    • Evaluate the benefits of the intervention according to the expected gains.
    • Provide technical and operational support for all well servicing and well intervention activities for ISND Field.

Experience & Skills

* Minimum 10 years work experience in Trading Finance and financial analysis with leading IOCs, NOCs or reputable companies.
* Multi-disciplinary knowledge and broad competence is required in areas such as trading, sales operations, commercial commodity pricing, financial reporting, and P&L reporting.

Primary purpose of job


The Senior Investigator will lead, participate in, conduct independently, review and/or oversee investigations and related work, including the gathering and analysis of evidence from diverse sources/systems, relating to violation(s) of the company Code of Conduct, in a complex operating environment. The purpose of the investigations is to determine compliance with or
non-compliance with the company's Regulations, Policies and Procedures.


Experience & Skills


1. Has a minimum of 5 years investigation experience, including 2 years Oil and Gas industry experience.
2. Strong English language and excellent writing skills. This includes the ability to prepare professional investigation reports with recommendations.
3. Excellent interpersonal, oral communication and interviewing skills, including the ability to interact with all levels of staff/management and suppliers.
4. Strong analytical and research skills including ingenuity, persistence, being innovative, taking initiatives and an eye for detail.
5. Must be honest and ethical. This includes displaying integrity, confidentiality and good judgment.
6. Management skills in resolving audit / investigation related issues tactfully.
7. Good organizational skills including the ability to work independently and to handle several assignments simultaneously.
8. Knowledge and use of appropriate software packages and relevant information systems.
9. Obtaining relevant evidence and information including the ability to file this in a logical and easily understood filing system.


Education


1. A Bachelor's degree in an accounting, financial, engineering or other relevant discipline.
2. It is preferred that the candidate has an "investigation certification" i.e. ACFE3. Valid membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. Institute of Internal Auditors, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners etc.) is desirable.

Job Purpose

- Ensure that the stand-alone & consolidated financial statements, tax declarations and treasury functions of the privatized companies are performed to ensure compliance with the relevant rules, policies and procedures and to provide financial accounting and tax guidance to senior management as required.

Experience & Skills

- At least 15 years post qualification experience, with at least five years in a similar group financial accounting and consolidation reporting role
- Advanced MS Excel user, with familiarity in MS Word and Power point.

Primary Purpose of the Job

Reviews and finalizes the Operating Expenditure and Recoveries Income Budget for

Operations. Monitors actual expenditure against budget and finalizes periodic reports to

Management.

Principal Accountabilities

  1. Performs detailed review of the Work Program & Budget and participates in budget

review meetings for the timely finalization of Directorates/Corporate Departments annual

budget.

  1. Performs detailed review of the Supplementary Budget, Budget Revisions and Budget

Transfers for the timely approval of operating expenditure and recoveries income budget.

  1. Provides the required schedules, inputs and analysis for the Budget Book, Management

Reports and Management presentations.

  1. Verifies that expenditures are classified into the appropriate category (operating and

capital expenditures) in accordance with company guidelines and procedures and relevant

accounting standards.

  1. Reviews the actual cost against budget on a periodic basis and finalizes quarterly cost

variance report on key variances.

  1. Participates in monthly performance review meetings with Operations in coordination

with Directorate of Strategic Planning and Policy and assists in preparing report for

Corporate Leadership Team.

  1. Performs in depth review and due diligence with regard to budget submissions and

ensures that Departments/Directorates budget is maintained at an optimal level.

  1. Verifies the Cost Reallocation, Rig Cost Allocation, Internal Cost Transfer and

Water/Diesel Consumption Journal Entries.

  1. Provides required information and clarification to State/ExtemaVInternal Auditors and

takes necessary action to implement agreed recommendations on a timely basis.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience

  1. Bachelors' Degree in Accounting/Finance with Professional Qualification such as ACA,

ACCA, CPA, CMA, CIMA etc. is essential.

  1. Over 7 years of experience preferably with relevant work experience in a similar position

including Budgeting, Planning, Costing, Management Accounting and Reporting,

preferably in Oil and Gas Industry.

  1. Good interpersonal, problem solving, analytical, communication and presentation skills

with knowledge of financial standards and models.
