This job requires someone to not only be on the road actively increasing current sales figures but also overseeing installation projects to completion.
This role requires:

  • An individual with a strong sales drive and understanding, along with the ability to develop new business and broaden current projects scope.
  • Management of installation teams to complete works in a timely and effective manner.
  • Working with Estimating to assist in the preparation quotations.

Experience:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, monitoring and documentation of Transfer Pricing models for cross-border intra-group transactions in multiple jurisdictions
  • Evaluate and assess legal entity financial information including detailed analysis, reconciliation and reporting of global financial and intercompany data for global transfer pricing compliance

This position will be part of a small, integrated team of technical specialists and program managers that direct consultant work on a large number of projects in Canada.


The Job
You will managing a large portfolio of downstream remediation sites across Canada, providing technical direction to consultants on downstream remediation projects. As the Remediation Coordinator, you will communicate and negotiate solutions with challenging stakeholders, evaluate technical evidence for legal claims and ensure remediation project work complies with safety standards and policies. Conducting field site inspections will also be required.


The Individual

  • A minimum of 10 years assessment, remediation and project management experience, within the Oil & Gas Industry, downstream exposure is an asset.
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, environmental science, geology, or a related field of study.
  • Relevant professional association in Alberta or another province (e.g., P.Eng.; P.Geol.; P.Ag), or eligible for registration.
  • Experience with legal claims relating to contaminated sites.
  • Familiarity with environmental legislation in various provinces

Geotechnical - Supervisor

  • Provide technical support, mentoring and direction to the geotechnical team;
  • Oversee the geotechnical analysis and studies completed by the geotechnical engineers;
  • Review and scrutinize third party geotechnical and hydrotechnical assessments, inspections, investigations;
  • Evaluate cost saving opportunities within the geotechnical hazard management program;

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineering Designation with preference given to Civil/Geotechnical Engineering. Consideration will be given to an Engineering Technologist certificate in a related field;
  • 10 years of relevant work experience involving pipeline geotechnical engineering;
  • Strong technical understanding of geohazard assessment methods, investigation and mitigation strategies in relation to pipeline integrity management;
  • Experience in geotechnical investigations, geo-hazard evaluations, air-photo and LiDAR interpretations, rock and soil slope stability evaluation, subsurface and aerial pipeline river crossings, and instrumentation, monitoring;
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities leading a team of engineers;
  • Energetic, resilient, collaborative, goal oriented and a motivated team player;
  • Exceptional influencing and communication skills with a strong focus on customer service;
  • Demonstrates assertiveness to ensure business requirements are met, along with a can-do attitude to accommodate the variable duties required for the position;
  • Critical analytical, and strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Travel is minimal, but must be willing to travel to the field for up to a week duration; and
  • Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license.

As a senior team member, the Senior Project Engineer - Marine will provide oversight to multiple marine scopes to ensure the standards, processes and procedures established for the project are being followed. Working closely with the project services team, you will ensure change management process is followed in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the conduit for all change management documentation for the marine scope
  • Provide technical advisory to marine team to ensure best practices are being applied

  • Maintain the marine risk register and participate in risk assessments

The Company
You will be working for a leading Canadian oil and gas company who are a leading player in the Canadian Oil Sands projects. They are investing heavily in new projects and new technology and are widely seen to be one of Canada's most attractive companies to work for.

The Job
Managing a team of around 20 people of multi skilled specialists, you will be responsible for ensuring mining operations such as bulk excavation, soil salvage, dyke construction and road building for heavy haulage are carried out efficiently and safely. You will be working with the Mining Operations Manager to monitor shovel pits, placement areas and haul roads and ensure necessary resources are assigned to ensure production targets are met.

The Individual
You will have extensive experience working within the mining sector including time spent in a superintendent/supervisory position focused on managing mining operations. At least eight years of heavy equipment operating experience. Mining engineers with practical field experience as a front line leader will also be considered. Computer proficiency, specifically in Modular Mining
The Schedule
The shift schedule is a six days on/six days off rotation (three days on, three nights on, six days off; 12-hour shifts). If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory
