Petroplan Middle East has a great opportunity for a Client Development Manager with 3 years' experience within Oil & Gas external recruitment (agency). You will be based in our Dubai office, although it is anticipated that there will be travel throughout UAE/Kurdistan.


The Client Development Manager will be primarily responsible for specific UAE/Kurdistan business development and account management. Our clients include NOCs, IOCs and smaller, independent and international organisations.


Please be aware that for the position of Client Development Manager - Dubai:

  • Sponsorship of UAE visa will be available to the successful applicant.


Job Description:

  • Input into the annual UAE/Kurdistani Business Plan, focusing on how Petroplan's client base located in UAE/Kurdistan will be grown and developed to maximise opportunities
  • Development of a clear and replicable process for new business development across UAE/Kurdistan, working to a BD plan prepared by you and agreed by the Account Manager/Regional Manager and the CEO/Executive Team;
  • Overall responsibility for developing the specific clients and sectors outlined in the BD plan, working closely with the Account Manager for UAE/Kurdistan and the London-based recruitment team to ensure commercial, scalable and coordinated business development takes place across the region, focusing on obtaining perm, contract and nominated roles;
  • Ongoing networking and profile-building amongst clients, candidates and colleagues.
  • Account management for target clients with a focus on deepening the relationships with the clients, measured by the volume and quality of vacancies secured and additional qualitative and quantitative targets;
  • Management of commercial negotiations with prospects and clients, including agreement of commercial terms and negotiation of fees, mark-up, etc.


Job Requirements:


Essential

  • 3 years' experience with an Oil & Gas external recruitment (agency)
  • Be passionate and knowledgeable about the oil, gas and energy industry;
  • Have experience of technical recruitment (perm and contract), business development, and sales delivery within the Middle Eastern oil, gas and energy sector with a proven track record in billing;
  • Be resilient, determined, proactive and keen to challenge

Requirements for Instrument and Control System Engineer
Job Specification :
The Project System Engineer shall assist for Engineering/ Execution of the following projects mainly:
1. Provision of Auto-chokes at Margham Field wells
2. Wellhead Instrumentation and control enhancement at Margham Field Wells
3. Upgrade/ Replacement of existing obsolete TYCO Fire& Gas Systems in Margham.
4. Replace RTUs at Customer Sites
5. Operation Mode Base Alarms resolution/ implementation in Honeywell Alarm Management System.
6. Reinstating control valve at CV-19 at GCS, Jebel Ali (along with Temperature monitoring on DEWA Ring mains)
7. Reinjection Compressors' Controls upgrade project.

The specific job technical requirement shall be as follows:
1. Should have experience in detail engineering activities of various and controls equipment such as Honeywell Distributed Control Systems , Allen-Bradley PLCs, Fire and Gas Systems.
2. Should have experience in detail engineering of various field instrumentation such as Control Valves, Actuated Valves, Transmitters, F&G detectors (Conventional & Addressable).
3. Familiar with various Fire & Gas Detection & firefighting systems (Honeywell, Tyco, Draeger, Det-tronics, etc.)
4. Shall possess knowledge of Wellhead Controls & Instruments (Choke valves, Hydraulic/ Electronic Wellhead PLCs )
5. Should have Knowledge of Custody Flow Metering systems, Flow meter selection, skid design in-line with industry standards
6. Should be familiar with Instrumentation and control systems of Gas turbines, Compressors.
7. Must be well versant with various Industry codes such as NEC, NFPA72, ISA, ANSI, API, AGA, IEC, ISO, etc.
8. Shall have experience in evaluation of Technical offers, TQ/TBA, reviewing of vendor drawings, etc.

Senior Process Engineer

The Senior Process Engineer in Facilities Development Team is responsible for executing in-house/external engineering studies, develop process concepts and evaluate options for modifications to Onshore/Offshore facilities.
Educational Qualifications
Must be degree qualified in Chemical Engineering. Preferably Chartered/Profesional Engineer.
Experience

  • Should have 10 years process/chemical engineering experience in oil and gas environment.
  • Should have at least 5 years' experience in onshore gas processing and gas distribution facilities; preferably with experience in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) offloading terminal design/operations.
  • Should have at least 5 years' experience in offshore field development and operation of late-life production facilities.
  • Should have worked mainly with feasibility studies and conceptual design; preferable should have experience of all project design phases from conceptual design through to detailed design.
  • Should have experience in brownfield modifications.
  • Experience with process simulation software such as HYSYS, PIPESIM, Flarenet; should have capability of using, and preferable developing, in-house MS Excel sheets.
  • Must have working knowledge and experience of onshore and offshore oil and gas industry codes, specifications and practices.
  • Experience in any of the following technical areas is desirable:
  • Gas dew-pointing and gas drying technologies
  • Two-phase and three-phase separation
  • Gas compression and rotating equipment
  • Heat Exchanger equipment
  • Pipeline/riser flow assurance
  • Produced water management
  • Process control

Job Requirements:
Qualifications

  • 12 years secondary education and a two year technical diploma.


Experience

  • At least 10 years in the Oil/Gas industry with a minimum of 5 years in a senior Work Permit supervisory role (Offshore experience desirable).
  • At least 5 years of experience working with eVision electronic Control of Work system, in a dedicated role as Permit Coordinator or Area Authority, on a live upstream Oil and Gas facility.
  • Recognized practical proven experience with a work permit application.
  • Proven problem-solving and structured organisational abilities and thinking.
  • Strong HSE motivation and leadership qualities.



Other Competencies / Skills / Others

  • Excellent English language skills both written and oral.

Electrical and Electronics Engineer
Provide technical support including inspection, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure a safe, cost effective and reliable operation of the offshore production electrical, electronic, instrumentation and control system.
Provide electrical equipment and systems support including power generation, power distribution, uninterruptible power supply equipment, switchgear, motor, variable speed drive, protection relay, transformer and the associated control system.
Electronic and instrumentation and control system includes Distributed Control System (DCS), Fire and Gas System (FGS), Instrumentation Protection Function, Field Instrumentation, control valves, metering system, equipment controls and protection system.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
10 years' experience in electrical and electronic maintenance and knowledgeable in offshore production operations and maintenance equipment.
Experience of electrical and electronic equipment installation in hazardous classified areas.
Familiar with Relay logic, Programmable Logical Control (PLC) equipment, Emergency shutdown Systems, Fire and Gas Systems and Distributed Control Systems Preferred.

  • Experience
  • 8-10 years' varied mechanical installation, maintenance and repair experience on similar mechanical equipment in the oil production industry. Experience should include some supervisory experience and the use of computerised and maintenance and materials systems.
  • Ability to develop/ authorise and review Medium & low Voltage Switching plans and work scopes.

  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Should be computer literate, having knowledge of MS application/ CMMS (preferably Oracle).
  • Familiar with Risk Assessment techniques JSA Task Risk Assessment/ Operation Risk Assessment.
  • Knowledgeable in applicable international hazardous area classification, explosion proof standards and electrical safety.
