Group Senior Tax Accountant

  • Responsible to legally minimize tax liabilities through informed application of tax laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and review tax calculations, estimates and reports accruals and purpose partnering with country, regional and corporate finance, tax, legal business and Operations terms.
  • Manage tax compliance, reporting and filing works for the Group.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all corporate and personnel income tax and GST/VAT returns.
  • Establish appropriate system or processes tax risk management for the Group.
  • Acts as key point of Contact and support for our local and regional taxation matters.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support to the Group.
  • Manage external tax authorities and Consultants locally and regionally.
  • Review current and deferred tax provision.
  • Provide internal tax advisory services and support on business operation matters to the Group.



Qualification/Requirement

  • Degree in Accountancy
  • Minimum of 4 years' tax experience
  • Knowledge of International taxation laws and regulations.
  • Prior experience in tax strategy implementation, planning support and project management will be advantageous.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, Communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and meticulous.
  • Mature, proactive, resourceful and hands on with good initiative.
  • Independent worker who is able to work well with minimal supervision.
  • Fast worker with ability to work well under stress.

Field Operator

Dubai

The operator is responsible for safe and reliable operation of wells and other field facilities

  • Ensure that all activities in area of control comply with Health Safety and Environment (HSE) standards
  • Participate actively and provide inputs to Operations Safety meetings, Desktop Emergency scenarios, Emergency Exercises.
  • Comply with control of work procedures to exercise control of bypass, Hazardous Energy Lockout-Tagout and Permit to Work
  • Perform Emergency functions by taking actions to avoid escalation of emergency events
  • Actively participate in company safety program
  • Coordinate and perform as instructed by control room and shift supervisor day to day operations e.g. well opening and closing, well conversion, choke changes, emergency operations.
  • Attend daily shift hand over meetings; give/ receive verbal and written handover.
  • Make 2 full rounds of all wells per shift, inspecting all equipment, log operating parameter; report and action deviations if any. Highlight any encroachments or security concerns.
  • Complete 2 patrolling rounds of field each shift covering wells, flow lines and inner road route. Check and record oily water separator level in day shift and inform supervisor when it is ready to pump out.
  • Reports and sand accumulation and get it cleaned so that access to all wells are clear and well pads are tidy. Direct contractor for shovel and manpower on wells/ areas needing attention. Record contractor work/ timesheets.
  • Ensure the field vehicles/ hydraulic pump truck is maintained properly and any issues addressed to maintenance. Check vehicles start of shift and report.
  • Update field changes and choke change reports.
  • Complete log sheets and maintain a daily log of all events occurring in the field.
  • Conduct first line troubleshooting in case of upsets/ trips and address the issues.
  • Prepare well and flow line for maintenance work as per procedure. This includes preparation, isolation, N2 purging, gas testing to ensure free of Hydrocarb gas and liquids.
  • Reinstate well/ flow line on completion of maintenance, ensuring it is tested satisfactorily prior to hand back to operations and pre-startup safety review is carried out.
    Maintain good housekeeping at well pad area.
  • Ensure control of work is strictly complied to operation procedures, Permit to Work, Method statements, Job safety analysis, Risk assessments etc. during maintenance activities.
  • Identify simultaneous operations and control work.
  • Initiate work request as require and coordinate maintenance activities in field.
  • Are Authority for field, ensure site readiness before issues of permits, ensure all control safe in place and carry out pre job safety meetings.
  • Regularly monitor maintenance and intervention work going on in the field and ensure compliance
  • Support new project works for tie-in activities, construction, commissioning, punch list generation etc.
  • Coordinate with well intervention team for well integrity checks, Data gathering, Risk base Inspection (RBI) team for flow line inspections and supervise contractors for this work.
  • Ensure safe operation of vacuum truck for pumping waste oil from oily water separator.
  • Perform special task as assigned by Shift Supervisor and Field Superintendent
  • Work closely with operators and senior operators daily, Plant Superintendent, Gas Control Station Supply Lead, GCS Systems Supervisors, LNG Terminal, Senior Pipeline Engineer and their staff, maintenance technicians and supervisors, Onshore supervisors of operations.



Skills/ Qualifications

  • High school graduate with technical qualification in oil and gas operations
  • Minimum 15 years in oil gas field experience.
  • Sound knowledge of well intervention activities and workovers
  • Sound knowledge of oilfield equipment, wells, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and control equipment in well operations.

  • Executing day to day Maintenance of the onshore and offshore mechanical systems. Ensuring that the integrity, reliability, availability and maintainability of relevant mechanical equipment is preserved; so that the production targets can be achieved. Constant use and review of best practice maintenance tactics. Provide first line onshore support for the execution of the planned and corrective maintenance strategies necessary to maintain and repair equipment.



Qualification
Degree/Diploma preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
2-3 year experience in mechanical shop (suitable experience may come from the heavy auto trade (truck repair) shipyard, marine industry or from pump and compressor repair contractors.

Control System Engineer

  • 10 years system engineering preferably with TUV (SIS) certification, design, installation and integration experience in an Oil and Gas development environment , including experience in DCS and PLC preferably with invensys/Foxbro I/A series and delta DCS, triconex PLCs, Allen Bradley, Rockwell PLCs/ Control logix / GE PAC PLC and HMI software.



Experience with the following is preferable

  • Turbines, Compressors, Pump Controls, Process Control
  • Rolls royce/Solar/Dresser Equipment
  • Vibration monitoring system
  • Gas Compressor Surge Control System
  • Fire and Gas Emergency shutdown
  • Working knowledge and experience in offshore oil and gas, industry codes specifications and practices (HSE, API, NFPA, ISA, IEC etc) Familiar with process safety management,
  • Proficiency in automation and control systems hardware/software development and trouble shooting.

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent

Lead Contracts Engineer

Job Purpose

To provide high level of understanding of legal and technical issues in order to resolve disputes and resolve complex commercial issues.
Responsible for high value commercial activities including the tendering procedures, change management, contract preparation, negotiation of terms and conditions and provide practical commercial solutions to any claims or disputes. Advise user departments in relation to contract process management to ensure all commercial activities are carried out in line with the company contracting guidelines. Lead the Contract Commitment Team (CCT) in the preparation of sourcing strategy, tender board memos and post contract performance reviews throughout the contracts active lifecycle.

Job Requirements

  • Drilling contracts experience essential
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree required; Law Degree preferred.
  • Ideally with a post-graduate qualification in Contract Management or in a complementary area.
  • 10 years' contracts experience in oil and gas operations or similar industries.
  • Extensive experience in the preparation and negotiation of tenders/contracts of small/medium/large scale projects with complexity and diversity.
  • Working experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, preferably Oracle.
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of contract and legal terms.
  • Demonstrate a high level of commercial and technical knowledge.
  • Proficient in contractual correspondence, contract verbatim and report writing.
  • Good knowledge of contract law; knowledge of oil and gas contract terms and conditions a plus.
  • Firm negotiator and Customer service oriented.
  • Self-directed and highly motivated.
  • Ability to prioritise amongst various demands and working well under pressure.
  • Ability and willingness to effectively coach and develop less experienced team members.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written English communication skills.
