Requirements:

Petroplan are working on behalf of an operator in Qatar. They are looking to recruit a HSE Specialist.


To provide single point of responsibility and accountability at directorate level technical service for VP Director in the areas of Health, Safety and Environment during definition, detailed design and execution stages to ensure Directorate's compliance with the latest Codes, standards, procedures, practices, Corporation and National requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Engineering discipline from an internationally recognized University in addition, NEBOSH or equivalent certification is required.
Minimum of 18 years of experience in HSE Management functions and exposure on HSE for major Oil and Gas and/or infrastructure projects of which at least last 5 years in similar HSE Senior position for projects in reputable Oil and Gas Companies or EPIC Contractors.
Wide exposures in various Safety Studies such as QRA, HAZID, HAZOP, Knowledgeable on Major Accident Hazard Management (MAH) and Environmental Assessments.
Knowledgeable on development and implementation of HSE Targets and objectives, Key performance indicators, statistics and Performance monitoring.
Familiar with OSHA standards and established international Codes and standards.
Experienced in providing safety management and supervision to a team of HSE personnel.
Experienced as Auditor in key and critical HSE Compliance audits, inspection and reviews within Department and Contractors.
Experienced investigation, review and analysis of work related accident/incident including root cause and lessons learned, ensuring implementation and close-out of preventive and corrective actions.

QA/QC Specialist


Petroplan are working on behalf of an operator in Qatar. They are looking to recruit a QA/QC Specialist.

This position is to manage development, evaluation, implementation and maintenance of VP QA/QC requirements applicable for engineering, design and project implementation/execution of O&G Onshore, Offshore and associated Infrastructure projects, in line with VP technical, project and business objectives.


Lead liaison with relevant parties, such as Corporate Quality, Industrial Cities, Regulatory bodies, to rationalise VP QA/QC requirements, resolve conflicts and manage it's implementation in proper governance and compliance with QP Corporate policies, philosophies, standards and applicable national laws and regulations.


Qualifications:
Engineering graduate, preferably in Mechanical/ Metallurgical Engineering from an internationally recognised University

ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification are highly preferable

Knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage.

Primary purpose of job
Provide Corporate governance for the integrity of lifting equipment/operations and gas cylinder to ensure that associated risks are managed As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) and in compliance with statutory requirements, mandatory regulations, technical standards and good engineering practices.
Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 12 years relevant post graduate experience of mechanical equipment operation, inspection , maintenance and certification with minimum 8 years in Oil and Gas and Petrochemical related industries with emphasis on lifting equipment and gas cylinder operation, maintenance, inspection and certification aspects with at least 5 years in a similar responsible position.- In depth knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards for inspection, testing and certification of LE.


Education

  • BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with Chartered Engineering status or equivalent.- Certification by Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) 'LEEA Part-1 (LEEA) Foundation Course (FOU) and any other Part or equivalent would be an added advantage.

Plans, supervises and controls the execution of services such as accommodation and hospitality, housekeeping, hygiene sanitation and cleaning of offices, accommodation, kitchen, mess halls, clubs, plants and other facilities projects related to kitchen and messing facilities, office furniture requirements and catering and messing services. Forecasts all the requirements at the assigned offshore location and coordinates ans schedules activities to ensure uninterrupted and adequate availability of all required services, items and equipment as and when required. Implements and ensures compliance to Food Safety and Quality Management Program.

Minimum of 10 years in catering activities within similar industry or contract catering organization. Offshore experience is a plus factor. 2-Intermediate level certification in HACCP.
