Regional Procurement Manager

Job Role:

  • Overall management of procurement activities & resources for all different disciplines (Procurement, Subcontract, Expediting and Logistics) under the Regional Procurement Dept.
  • Ensure necessary Procurement support is provided at Regional level to all Projects, Plant & Equipment Department and Tendering Department.
  • Work under guidance, instructions and close coordination with the Corporate Procurement or relevant Category Management Team when required.
  • Strive to achieve Procedural integrity on activity under his control.
  • Ensure the budget is always aligned within corporate targets.
  • Monitor and maintain the regional KPI's
  • Provide the necessary procurement support to all Projects/Sites including but not limited to
  • Ensure the Procurement Software (APICS) is properly and fully used by all Projects, Central Facility Yards and Regional Office as per Company procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure the key stake holders (Corporate Procurement, Regional Management, Category Leads) have been involved in the procurement process or decision making when required.
  • Ensure compliance to any local content program and propose long term vendor development grogram if required.
  • Ensure a close, continuous and efficient interface with Engineering, Project Control, Construction, Quality and Stores dept.
  • Ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliances in all the procurement transactions within the team
  • Supervise the negotiation strategies and lead commercial and contractual negotiations developed for each Project.
  • Monitor and maintain a full compliance with the Company Procurement Procedures.
  • Maintain proper management of Vendors Assessment and Supplier Performance Management in its region
  • Train team on effective procurement processes and strategy


Job specifications::

  • Excellent operational, leadership, communication and co-operation skills
  • Pro-activeness and can-do attitude with minimum resource
  • Very good reporting skills as well as ability to interface with senior management
  • Fluency in the English language (oral and written).
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems and any other related software


Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Procurement field with at least 5 years' in a Senior Procurement Manager Position.
  • Previous experience in EPC Marine Construction and/or Oil & Gas.
  • Proven experience at Department/Regional level or significant experience as procurement Manager at Project level
  • Previous experience with Middle East.

Global Stores manager

Job role

  • The Global Stores Manager is responsible globally to manage the Stores department. The Global Stores Manager is also responsible operationally for one of the three regions.
  • Assigned at Global level and working under the direction of the Corporate Procurement Director.
  • In charge to supervise Regions, developing Standards, propose Budgets, manage and improve processes.


Role Responsibilities

  • Propose on a yearly basis for Management review and approval a strategic roadmap with Stores main objectives, initiatives, optimization and action plan.
  • Ensure proper Stores Management organization in place by regular visits and audits at sites.
  • Propose and lead the changes at Global level to achieve the necessary improvements within the Company for any matters related to Stores.
  • Maintains and improve receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new Sites and propose some improvement to the design layouts


Experience

  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Overall 10 years' experience in work related field including 5 years' as Stores/Warehouse Manager at Department level.
  • Previous experience in Construction projects.
  • BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration

Lead Project Engineer

Lead Project Engineer - Petrochemical Operator - Middle East

Our client, an Oil & Gas Operator, are currently looking to hire an experienced Lead Project Engineer to manage a team from the development phase of the project to Commissioning and Startup phase. The company has recently started the Petrochemical Project - Polyolefin Process Units, so it is in its early stages of the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team from Development Phase, FEEED, EPC Tender, EPC Execution, Commissioning, Startup, and Performance Test runs.
  • Manage the development of the Polyolefin Process unites Scope of Requirements, Basis of Design, and specification during FEED.
  • Manage the Invitation to Tender (ITT), Tender Clarifications, Tender evaluations, and recommendation of award.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Technical degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Chemical engineering.
  • Languages Required - Fluent English - Written and Spoken.
  • Experience managing Polyolefin projects from development to start-up.
  • 15 years of experience in engineering or operations, with at least 5 years of experience in Project Management (Owner/Operator).
