Petroplan is currently hiring for a Sr. Field Administrative Assistant for a well known and top Oil and Gas Company. This position will be Monday - Friday located in their Minot, ND office.
Job Duties:

  • Maintain the daily workflow of creating PR's for work orders and network AFE's to keep the work flowing through enabling efficient planning and execution for the team.
  • Maintain the break in work of creating on/off PR requests from the field as conditions and situations change within the job scope.
  • Heavily involved in reviewing and forwarding invoices that have been through the field approval process. Involving check of network opening, incorrect coding and work orders not showing up in ADP
  • Release networks for Monthly AFE packages


Requirements:

  • 0-2 years prior experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • High level of competency in SAP and ADP
  • Good understanding of SS MRI execution work flows
  • Needs to be a self-motivated employee that can focus efforts where the needs of the business are

Materials Management Specialist II

Job Duties:

  • Understands mechanical crane as designed for load out activities.
  • Understands operation of forklifts in large and small rated equipment
  • Understands rigging operations for crane and forklift as an API qualified rigger
  • Support the scheduling of loading and unloading of vessels, and ensuring material and equipment are correctly staged and prepared for safe loading onto vessels and trucks.
  • Has knowledge in shipping and receiving duties


Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years E&P experience related to logistics and shorebase operations.
  • Experience in materials management, and logistics
  • Communication skills (verbal and written) including networking, interpersonal and teamwork/collaboration skills
  • Certified and competent forklift operator

Senior Drilling Engineer

Due to this continued growth, a need has arisen within the business to add a highly experienced Drilling Engineer to their Drilling operations division to assist with the ongoing and upcoming unconventional projects.

In this position, you will report directly into the Drilling Engineering Manager and be involved with ensuring that all activities are planned, scheduled and executed to achieve the agreed requirements in a safe and efficient manner. Key challenges will include:

  • Preparing operational plans for planned wells and liaising with other departments when required
  • Responsible for drilling optimization, identifying best practises and running lessons learned when required
  • Travel to the field is required as and when needed
  • Deal with third party vendors with a strong focus on cost and performance

You must have at least 7 years of experience, including 5 years' experience in oil and gas operations working as a Drilling Engineer. Experience working in unconventional plays is preferred and must hold at least a Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline.

Topsides Project Controls Coordinator

This position will be accountable for the management and coordination of all cost, planning / scheduling, change management, project accounting, document control, risk and interface activities as well as project reporting for the Topsides scope and will be accountable for all progress measurement from a cost, schedule and quantity surveying perspective. In addition, this role will be accountable for the review and reporting on all aspect related to the Topsides scope, including, but not limited to Engineering, Construction, Hook-up and commissioning.

This role will also be required to develop and support the reporting requirement used to steward monthly scope, cost and schedule performed metrics and ensure proper maintenance of the cost and schedule elements within established guidance and work instruction documentation. Also supporting overall management of monthly program level reporting such as accruals, cost forecasting, progress measurement, trend analysis, change management documentation in compliance to established processes.

The successful candidates will support the Topsides Integrated team, Topsides Project Director, Project Services Director and Project Services Snr Manager and in addition, be required to provide leadership and ongoing direction to the Topsides project services team.

Primary Functions:

  • Management of Staff
  • Monthly Topsides reporting
  • Topsides Cost, Schedule and progress review and analysis
  • Ad hoc project reviews, analysis and progress assessment
  • Review and analysis of contractor and other reporting as required



Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer
  • P. Tech, Bachelor of Engineering or Business

Experience:

  • 10 years' experience in the management of Unit Rate, Bill of Quantities, Quantity surveying Contracts
  • 10 years in a project leadership / management position
  • 10 years' experience in project planning and cost management
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of project risk and interface
  • 10 Years of Fabrication and construction within the Oil and Gas industry
  • 15 Years of Major project experience



Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient with Primavera (P6)

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Facilities Engineer - Oil & Gas

Petroplan is currently recruiting for an experienced Facilities Engineer to work for a growing and reputable oil and gas company in the DFW area. The primary focus of this role will be on uptime, focusing on keeping production on from the well including water disposal/injection, separation, well testing, tankage/vapor recovery, CO2 recycle/gas lift compression, etc.

This includes CO2 floods, water floods, and conventional production on all company assets.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assigned to the business unit for planning, scoping, estimating and executing various projects

  • Provide engineering services to the business units, overseeing design and installation during the construction phase

  • Manage capital/LOE project spend and budget as it relates to surface facility work

  • Performing "Lookbacks" on the execution of facility activities and identifying lessons learned

  • Working directly with Operations, Production Engineering and Reservoir Management in activities generated from capital programs

  • Optimize the surface oil, gas and water production facility performance including developing/implementing engineered solutions for issues that may be limiting production, productivity, efficiency and general operability of the asset

  • Troubleshooting oil field production systems and equipment while monitoring pressures, temperatures and rates throughout the system

  • Act as point of contact for Maintenance and Construction Staff in managing the day-to-day operations

  • Develop and coordinate commissioning, start-up

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in all phases of projects including development, estimating, project management, engineering, and construction of Oil and Gas facilities

  • Exceptional team and interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to work within a multidisciplinary team

  • Experience with Wiring Diagrams, Area Classification, and Electrical On-line Drawings

  • Experience with MS Office and Hydraulic Modeling Software

  • B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical or similar preferred)
