Petroplan is actively recuiting for a Reservoir Engineer on behalf of our oil & gas company client. This role will be based in Houston on a permanent basis with attractive compensation package and benefits.

Job Summary:

Responsible for business and reservoir management and surveillance, this role will work closely with engineering staff to ensure efficient Asset Management, Reservoir/Resource Management, Well Optimization & Performance while supporting operations. The Reservoir Engineer will surveil production and pressure data to identify performance trends and recommend recovery plans in coordination with operations and engineering business units.

Responsibilities:

  • Asset and well surveillance for performance. Short and long term forecasting and budget preparation.
  • Asset Analysis and A&D.
  • Coordination and preparation of projects for approval, implementation and execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 12 - 20 years of experience; multiple years supporting unconventional horizontal assets.
  • Solid reservoir engineering skillset (volumetrics, decline curve, log analysis, and RTA/PTA analysis).
  • Expert level economic preparation and analysis.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-function professionals at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Extensive Aries expertise

Responsibilities: Under the broad direction from the Software Discipline Lead and the Chief Architect, the Software Architect will design and architect software systems to ensure they are aligned with business requirements. Additional responsibilities include the ability to:
· Work within a 100% technically focused role. For this position, 60% is focused on architecting applications and designing components, 20% is for building prototypes with the development team, 10% is participating in design reviews, and 10% is developing standards and best practices for technical solutions.

Summary:
Participate as a crew member in Hydrovac operations. This position will operate a company vehicle on a daily basis between the district and work site to service clients of the company. This position will also operate designated equipment as assigned by the Service Supervisor.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

This position will be based just outside of Carlsbad New Mexico, involving 12 hour days with a 7 on, 7 off rotation.

Key Responsibilities

* Responsible for well operations, gas lifted wells, ESP's, three phase separation, gas compression, control board operation, pipeline operation, minor maintenance of valve, pumps and rotating equipment and assisting the other operators and craft personnel in their duties.

Petroplan is currently working with an oilfield service business who are in the process of increasing their Gulf of Mexico footprint. Due to this continued expansion, a need has arisen within the business to add a Geomechanical Engineer to their monitoring division to assist with the ongoing and upcoming projects on the US side of the Gulf.

In this position, you will report directly into the head of operations and work in a small team of well monitoring specialists responsible for overseeing the entirety of the Gulf of Mexico operations.

Experienced Required
