The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspection of first article, in-process and finished goods with emphasis on precision machined parts to customer quality standards and dimensional control.


Quality Control Inspector

  • Dimensionally inspect machined parts using a variety of measuring and gauging instruments such as; Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T), FARO Arm, CMM
  • Performs incoming material inspection according to establishing standards
  • Performs First Article, in-process and final inspection to ensure customer quality
    standards are met
  • Maintains inspection records of inspection data and NCR's
  • Final inspection reports, outside service tags and final inspection approval documents
  • Maintains equipment in a clean manner and ensures that all equipment is stored properly such that it will be protected from damage when not in use
  • Working with Engineering Department, help identify and update drawings as needed.
  • Occasional travel is required to local third party vendors for on-site inspections and audits

QC Inspector Required Qualifications

  • 3 years' experience with GD&T, FARO ARM, and CMM inspections
  • Must be knowledgeable in the use of QC instruments and gages
  • Must be knowledgeable in GD&T
  • Must be able to work overtime when required
  • Knowledge of ISO standards a plus

The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for monitoring, developing, and improving manufacturing processes and equipment to support the strategic direction of the company. This position is charged with executing these efforts to facilitate safety, quality, cost and delivery excellence within the fast-paced metal fabrication environment.

CRITICAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators
  • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment
  • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, workforce utilization, and equipment layout
  • Participates in efforts to design custom equipment to solve manufacturing challenges
  • Assures product and process quality by working with the Quality department to establish testing methods
  • Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements
  • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians

JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 to 7 years' experience implementing lean principles and conducting process improvement events
  • BS in Manufacturing, Industrial Systems, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Working experience with SolidWorks

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule routine orders for assigned product lines and resolve related problems affecting delivery
  • Processes and monitors inventory computer transactions
  • Monitors levels of raw material to ensure proper receiving; and monitors work-in-process for cost variations


Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of previous Scheduling experience (manufacturing or production)

  • Create detailed financial models and analyses for prospective acquisitions and divestitures using various valuation methodologies
  • Analyze and compare existing and potential strategic growth opportunities to determine feasibility and allocation of capital
  • Develop market and macroeconomic analysis relating to acquisitions and organic growth opportunities
