HR Data/Process Analyst - Houston, TX

This is your opportunity to join a leading Oil and Gas company as an HR Data Analyst to provide value through various reporting, data analysis and process improvement projects. This is an long-term CONTRACT position, with the potential to go Permanent, that is located in the greater Houston area.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Ensures data in various platforms of HRIS, such as PeopleSoft, is complete and accurate
* Generate reports (ad-hoc) and automate metrics and analysis in dashboard
* Assist with audits, both external and internal
* Look for opportunities to improve current processes and reporting procedures and make recommendations
* Performs other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have:

* 4 year degree preferred
* At least 4 years of HR Reporting/Data Analysis experience
* Experience with process generation and design; HR application desired
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Visio; VLookups and Pivot Tables a must
* General knowledge of VBA is a plus
* Experience with HR platforms/systems in a reporting/administrative capacity; Workday would be a plus
* Eligibility to work in US without sponsorship

Major Incident Manager

Job Summary:

The role of the Major Incident Manager will be primarily responsible for the effective day to day running of all high priority incidents within SIAM based ITIL Incident Management framework.

The primary aim is to restore normal service provision/ operations as quickly as practicably possible minimising disruption to the business.

You wil provide governance and oversight of all incidents through to timely resolution, providing effective communication and escalation with vendors and key stakeholders

It is essential you champion high quality Incident and Problem Management practices across our Global Technology, in an effort to ensure effective end to end delivery of our IT services.

This role will be covering UK, India and North American, Operating hours however it will primarily cover US hours. At times you may be required to work as part of a shift team covering weekends

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

This highly pressurised role will champion quality major incident management best practices across our global IT. Day to day the role will involve:

  • Responsible for driving, managing and coordinating the response to all critical, major and high priority incidents
  • Co-ordinate rapid and effective response to Major Incidents including escalation, follow through, dissemination of workarounds, or resolution advice and closure.
  • Responsible for timely clear, accurate and punctual communications to internal stakeholders and customers (EMAIL and SMS)
  • Carry out monthly trending on ticket volumes to identify improvements and feed into Problem management
  • In conjunction with key vendors, identify and drive continuous service improvement opportunities to enhance Incident Management practices
  • Responsible for chairing and driving major incident management bridges
  • Responsible for effective internal and/or vendor escalation
  • Lead and/or Contribute to effective Post Incident Reviews - Engage teams for PIR activities, produce Post Incident Reports, as well as input to the Change and Problem Management Processes as and when required
  • Single Point of Contact for internal stakeholders for all High Priority Incidents
  • Produce daily and weekly and monthly incident reporting summaries
  • Quality assurance of High Priority Incident tickets within Service Now across all Major Incidents
  • Ensure that post incident reviews are completed and details are smoothly handed to problem management as per established process
  • Ability to work across 24/7 coverage via Out of Hours/On Call rota as required

Position Summary:
This position is all about web development. The Web Developer focuses on building responsive web applications that work regardless of the screen size. We are looking for a driven full stack developer to become part of the TraceableLIVETM team.

Key Responsibilities:
-Contribute to the development of a web application built using Ember.js
-Integrate with our backend API services along with other third party REST APIs.
-Help improve the quality of the code by developing unit tests, automation, and participating in code reviews.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited higher learning institution; or equivalent work experience; Master's degree preferred
-2-5 years' relative work experience for all necessary work responsibilities
-2-5 years' experience building apps using Javascript
-Proven experience with hands-on development of responsive web applications using Ember.js
-Have hands-on experience building at least one responsive web app that is responsive down to mobile device screen size using a SPA framework (preferably Ember.js)
-Well versed in working with CSS tools like Sass, LESS and Compass
-Solid web design knowledge - you should know how to create a web UI that is compelling and functional

The Software Support Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining third party software applications and providing end user support of internal business applications.

As a member of the IT technical staff, the individual will define and document internal business needs; qualify and review commercially available software; and assist with design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of solutions that meet the needs (functionality, cost, time) of the internal customer base as well as strategic IT design goals and constructs; and serve as deep support for application issues encountered by users.

While learning the application portfolio from a technical perspective, the software developer/analyst will make immediate contributions overseeing application installs/upgrades; leading the patching of application servers; resolving application support tickets; driving the implementation of security protections in front of third party software and implementing new Microsoft Sharepoint based applications.

Job Description

  • Develops and supports Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013 custom solutions, including web services, features, custom controls and security protections
  • Backend Database Support: Use remote access software, MS SQL Server, and MS Access for trouble shooting and resolving problems with client databases and product upgrades. In addition, aid implementation staff in developing queries for loading and manipulating data sets in MS SQL Server and MS Access.
  • Installs, configures, maintains, repairs, and otherwise supports services, specialized custom applications, software, applications, and related equipment in a networked environment
  • Determine root cause of issues and communicate appropriately
  • Escalate issues to third party vendors as needed
  • Track and maintain licenses in use and available for all end user devices

The ideal candidate can prioritize and put it into and update development roadmap, with considering common features required by various services. The Cloud Architecture Regional Manager must have a strong programming and software development background and be able to lead development teams to produce proof of concepts that demonstrate how new technologies should be used, and to launch commercial services to the public. In addition, the Cloud Architecture Regional Manager must be able to effectively and professionally realize concepts into real services, solutions and software.
The Cloud Architecture Regional Manager reports to the Sr. Manager, Technology Unit Development in Japan. This person will collaborate with team members in the organization and other engineering teams

Plan, design and program IIoT Foundation which includes Cloud services, Fog computing, Co-innovation environment, cellular network access for the sensors, security services, deep learning services and management tools/process for all business units.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Physics with strong emphasis in computer science or equivalent is required. Multiple or advanced degrees a plus.
Experience:

  • Development Project Management: Experience in handling about 25 people as a development project lead and done through the real production.
  • Software Development: Experience on Agile process, especially SCRUM method is PLUS.
  • Software Technology: Knowledgeable on cloud services like Azure and AWS, and capable enough to design an architecture from servers to Web applications with bird eye vision.
