CREDIT & COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST

Key Responsibilities

  • high volume of collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast paced goal oriented collections department.
  • Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts. Provide exceptional customer support.
  • MUST HAVE GETPAID EXPERIENCE



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain files, approvals and supporting documentation in accordance with credit policies and procedures.
  • Assist with compliance with credit policies and procedures.
  • Update contact information for all customers within assigned portfolio.
  • Develop knowledge around customers and business units.
  • Proficient knowledge of various ERP Systems. Releasing of Sales Orders, printing invoices etc.
  • Assist with formulation potential credit limits based on credit analysis and needs.
  • Assist Finance Team in obtaining and modifying guarantees and letters of credit.
  • Assist with compiling information for bi-weekly management meetings and Hyperion reports.
  • Develop working relationships with business units and the various groups within company order to ensure accurate and relevant data is shared.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Assist with reconciliation of customer statements/billings. Identify and obtain the proper Tax Certificates and distribute to Tax Department.
  • Assist with identification and preparation of documentation for adjustments and write offs.
  • Conduct collection calls and customer visits to collect Accounts Receivables.
  • Attend regular credit meetings.
  • Maintain adequate turnover of receivables.
  • Responsible for large volumes of active customer accounts.
  • Duties may change at any given time.

The Contract Administrator is an execution role within SEPI's Supply Chain Corporate Contracting category function in support of the business. The post holder will be responsible for operational sourcing approaches to market and executing all SAP transactional work in their respective area.
For operational contracting this means compliance with default criteria of tendering to three sources, an award less than three years and an award to the lowest priced tenderer or, in the event this criteria is not met, creation of an operational process variation submission for approval.


Role Responsibilities:

* Review all relevant sources sufficient to create robust tender lists;
* Engage the market based on speed and prudency using approved contract and ITT templates;
* Review the relevance of tendering to ensure it is not a futile and wasted task and recommend any other sourcing approaches which will add value to the business;
* Operationally connect with the technical community to be in tune with their operational requirements;
* To ensure electronic file organisation and be in a consistent position of preparation for any audit; internal or external;
* To perform all SAP transactions for outline agreements and purchase orders in ones area of responsibility in line with the expected well delivery requirements with the objectives of (i) creating legally binding contractual documents and (ii) decent quality levels of captured data for future searching and value added decision making;
* Be capable of creation of minor contract and tender documents;
* Manage any negotiations in line with approved practices prior to effecting negotiations;
* Minimise fragmented market approaches and eliminate maverick spend activity;
* Execute sourcing in a professional manner geared toward achieving the best value for SEPI;
* Ensure alignment of stakeholders for contracting;
* Ensure alignment with SHE, technical and supply chain so that sourcing approaches, evaluations, execution and post award management are effective;
* Provide for robust evaluations to ensure value maximisation is identified.


Minimum Qualifications:

* Business qualifications applicable to Law, Engineering or Commercial practice
* Ideally a minimum of 3 years operating experience within an upstream environment in a similar capacity, but with the ability to grasp the needs of the business to contract to market.
* An understanding of Supply Chain and aptitude to learn Category Management.
* Good internal and external networker.
* SAP experience
* Proven track record of applying robust governance and decision quality principles with regard to all pre and post contract award activity across supply chains.
* Capable of being delegated Contract Specialist activities when required.
* Consideration may also be given to candidates without the aforementioned qualifications, but who instead have proven demonstrable relevant industry experience.

  • Must be IRATA (International Rope Access Trade Association) trained / competent with all valid Certificates available on request

  • Good understanding of practical and theoretical principles of all Electrical / Instrument Hazardous Areas equipment
  • Educated to NVQ / SVQ or equivalent standard and completion of a recognised apprenticeship scheme
  • Should have pervious knowledge of ISSOW Permit to Work system
  • Previous experience and willing to undertake Isolating Authority duties for 'Own Electrical Isolations' as per competency systems

Environmental Advisor
This is a part time position - 2-3 days a weeks for 6 months.
The position will report to the Team Lead, Environment and Regulatory and will provide environmental support to East Coast Operations. Programs in which the incumbent will be involved include environmental protection planning, compliance monitoring, environmental effects monitoring, chemical management, seabird monitoring and rehabilitation, fisheries liaison, environmental research and environmental stakeholder engagement, including applicable regulatory agencies. The incumbent will also be responsible for corporate and regulatory environmental reporting, stewardship reporting, environmental audits and support of emergency and oil spill response initiatives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
? Manage environmental programs and support the regulatory approval process for offshore production, drilling and exploration activities.
? Coordinate regulatory and corporate reporting requirements.
? Evaluate and screen chemicals to be used on all offshore operated facilities.
? Participate in the review of proposed environmental regulations, determine implications for operations and develop company responses.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
? Completion of a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering or equivalent.
? Experience working with an oil and gas company as an Environmental Advisor in Newfoundland and Labrador.
? Experience conducting consultations and regulatory engagement with the C-NLOPB, Natural Resources Canada, Environment and Climate Change Canada, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Transport Canada, Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency, etc.
? Experience in working in the marine environment and knowledge of offshore oil and gas environmental issues.
? Knowledge of corporate and regulatory environmental reporting requirements would be an asset, including GHGs and NPRI.
? Knowledge of the environmental assessment process. ? Knowledge and experience in emergency response.
? Experience coordinating environmental monitoring and research programs.

As Senior Master Mariner, you must have both sea going and shore based experience, comprising of Marine Superintendence, Operations, Marine Warranty and Marine Consultancy. During your time in this role you will also be expected to manage various marine projects on behalf of the organisation.
Day to day:

  • Technical authoring of rig moves procedures, lifting procedures, marine operations manuals and a variety of offshore marine operations procedures.
  • Conduct, co-ordinate and manage various surveys, audits and inspections including vessel assurance, Marine Warranty Suitability Surveys, CMID and OCIMF-OVID inspections, Pre-Purchase/Sale and On Hire condition surveys

  • Review/approval of marine procedures and facilitation and participation in HIRA/HAZIDs

Our client, a leading oil & gas organization is looking to add a Project Planner/Scheduler for a 1 year Independent Contract based in Calgary.

This individual is accountable for developing, maintaining and updating integrated project plans and schedules. The Planner/Scheduler reports functionally to the Project Services Manager and is assigned to work with various teams within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop integrated project and program schedules by integrating plans from all functional groups, including but not limited to; engineering, procurement, contracting, fabrication, modularization, construction, commissioning and start-up.
  • Support the development and updating of operations and maintenance integrated plans and schedules.
  • Validate contractor and partner project schedules, progress and reports.
  • Apprise management of schedule conflicts, opportunities and risks across functional groups and facilitate improvements.
  • Prepare alternative and what-if schedule scenarios for decision-making and recovery or work-around plans.
  • Resource load, optimize and "crash" schedules.
  • Establish schedule baselines and re-baselines where required.
  • Update schedules and baselines on a routine basis. Report progress and earned value for all functions.
  • Assess impact of proposed changes, incorporate approved changes into schedules and baselines
  • Maintain integrity of scope and quantity data as a basis for schedule management
  • Prepare reconciliations, monthly reports, trends, forecast at completion estimates, variance analysis, manpower profiles, cash flows and project completion reports
  • Cooperate with cost estimating, cost control, risk management and functional leaders to develop integrated project deliverables
  • Prepare manpower plans, histograms, productivity, quantity and progress curves
  • Develop and report leading indicator schedule metrics
  • Benchmark project schedules and provide related metrics such as rates of progress and manpower densities
  • Provide input for schedule risk assessments and interview personnel to obtain schedule risk input
  • Support maintenance of risk registers
  • Maintain document trail to facilitate internal audits of internal control systems
  • Prepare planning/scheduling sections of contract exhibits, support analysis of contractor bids including schedule normalization of various proposals

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or Technical Diploma.
  • 7 - 10 years of planning/scheduling within the Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Expert in Primavera P6.
  • Greensfield & Brownsfield experience.
  • PMP Certification would be considered an asset.
  • PertMaster and SAP experience would be considered an asset.
