Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 3 years Marketing accounting, Pipeline accounting or Revenue experience required
  • Experience with OGSYS preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - coordination and cooperation with various external parties and other departments is required, including Production, Treasury, Property, Owner Relations, Marketing, Audit, Compliance, Legal, Financial Reporting, A/P
  • Analytical skills for reconciliations of A/P, A/R, Imbalances as well as other various accounts or projects as assigned

Reviews and interprets financial results in with business managers. Drafts insightful accounting analysis. Maintains a basic understanding of financial systems and data elements. Assists in the preparation of management reporting and analytical tools. Researches financial anomalies and makes corrections as necessary. Works on special projects as assigned. Generates reconciliations and accounts analyses. Participates in the monthly financial statement closes. Validates accounting assumptions with Accounting Manager and/or business managers. Aware of and monitors compliance of processes, transactions and balances with accounting / finance policies. Assists in implementing appropriate accounting policies and procedures. Aware of internal control concepts, evaluates controls to ensure they are operating effectively and makes recommendations to improve controls.

3-5 years of RECENT Accounts Payable in a Finance or Accounting environment role
Must have experience with either JDE 9.1 or Oracle EBS - NO EXCEPTIONS

As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for the daily processing of Accounts Payable activity for the
CAPS US Shared Services department. You will support the CAPS US Accounts Payable Supervisor in continuous efforts
to maintain payables accuracy, limit exposure, strengthen accounting compliance requirements and streamline processes.

You will join a team of hard-working Accounts Payable personnel, with a goal to continuously facilitate communication
between the staff and business unit operational staff. We are looking for team member who shares our company values

Handles day to day accounts payable duties
Reconciles and resolves discrepancies
Handles all levels of A/P for any company under the corporate umbrella
Generates various reports, registers and spreadsheets; transmits data as needed
Keeps filing system up-to-date, including boxing and archiving old files and creating new files for each year
Answers questions related to day-to-day work
Coordinates PO?s with procurement; matches invoices to PO?s; obtains other backup documentation for payment of legitimate invoices and other outgoing transactions
Enters detailed data accurately into financial systems concerning vendors, dates, amounts and tax information; ensures coding matches and approvals are in accordance to DOA
Verifies accuracy of pending payments; generates accurate checks in a timely manner with appropriate backup documentation
Ensures receipt and filing of W-9 forms
Creates and transmits reports for internal and external use; reports to banks, service providers, etc.
Processes all electronic transfers; reconciles transfers; works closely with Treasury and A/P Supervisor
Enters large amounts of data in financial program including new vendors; audits and corrects vendor data ensuring accuracy
Generates accurate and timely 1099s and related reports annually or as needed
Analyzes vendors as required
Answers all email with appropriate details, respect and in a timely manner
Reconciles accounts as necessary
Processes check runs
Prepares checks based upon approved check requests
Functions as team leader for other team members
Assumes delegated responsibilities of Supervisor in his or her absence
Abides by all safety procedures and practices applicable to location and position; participates in appropriate safety training; demonstrates commitment to and support of EH&S principles and values; champions safety as necessary
Performs other duties assigned by management that fall within the generally expected scope of this position

Senior Accountant
Location: Houston, TX

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • General accounting in accordance with applicable laws and accounting standards
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing
  • Perform various account reconciliations monthly
  • Review and prepare all monthly accruals
  • Perform operating expense variance analysis and reporting for corporate
  • Ensure timely and reliable financial closing / statutory reporting
  • Assist management in preparing annual budgets; external and internal
  • Ensure invoice entries are posted correctly and accurately according to guidelines
  • Process aging report and manage the account receivables and account payable
  • Reconcile, prepare and record Intercompany invoices for man hours and expenses
  • Prepare financial statements such as Balance Sheets and P&Ls
  • Liaise with Project and coordinate accounting/finance support project activities
  • Maintain and review accounting procedures, processes and make improvements when necessary
  • Ensure group reporting meets requirements and compliance to statutory audit and corporate taxation
  • Assist in preparing US Withholding tax calculation and make monthly payments
  • Supports Financial Controller in miscellaneous projects and ad-hoc business needs

Additional possible responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly Joint Interest Billings (JIB) and Cash Calls
  • Prepare revenue, UOP depletion, DD&A, Capitalized Interest, and other monthly entries
  • Attends DGH Audit and any other meeting related with Dussafu Project
  • Analyze and calculate allocation of operator expense and overhead to partners
  • Assist and coordinate in JIB audits

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting
  • Preferably CPA Certification

Experience:

  • Ideally over 5 years of Accounting experience, with a background in management reporting
  • Previous Big 4 experience
  • Previous E&P experience
  • Previous experience from a multinational company is as advantage
  • International experience a plus

Responsibilities:
When cash is unidentified, specialist need to complete the following the steps below:

  • In get paid, Check the account for outstanding invoice(s) and see if the amounts match.
  • Email the credit analyst to research with the customer for explanation on cc their managers.
  • Clear (post) the bank lockboxes, wires, intercompany and credit cards daily.
  • Work and clear the team email folder daily.
  • Develop knowledge of various ERP Systems.
  • Develop working relationships with business units and the various groups within company to endure accurate and relevant data is shared.
  • Assist with identification and preparation of documentation for adjustments and write offs.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and review monthly close processes, including revenue bookings, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses
  • Review and approve all revenue related invoices for payment

Internal Auditor

Location: Houston, TX

Responsibilities:

The Internal Auditor conducts internal financial audits of various business units and field operations, consults on special projects and performs due diligence audit of business acquisition targets. The candidate may work on any of the following:

  • Planning, organizing, and eventually leading various audit programs for the all business units worldwide.
  • Developing accurate and complete work papers that adequately support audit findings and documenting work performed.
  • Preparing key observations, summarizing findings and recommendations which are discussed and agreed with auditees.
  • Preparing audit report and reviewing the same with the Audit Manager.
  • Overseeing and performing internal control testing and documentation. Eventually required to leads a selection of auditors in conducting an audit project.
  • Reviewing work papers and conducting closing meetings possibly without an Audit Manager on-site.
  • Attending closing meetings. Assisting Audit Management by conducting risk assessments, and developing audit programs and tests. Participating on special projects, due diligence reviews, post-acquisition reviews, and investigations on an as-needed basis.
  • Attending seminars/training courses for development and to keep current on job-related technology

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum four (4) years' experience in external audit with the Big 4 public accounting firms.
  • Professionally qualified (CPA, ACCA).

Experience:

  • Working knowledge of GAAP, audit procedures, including planning, techniques, tests and sampling methods.
  • Strong accounting fundamentals with advanced skills on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong technical, analytical and decision-making skills. Self-motivated. Should be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to interact professionally with all levels of Management.
  • Commitment to customer service and ability to work in multi-cultural environment.

Additional:

  • Multi-Lingual strongly preferred
