HR Data/Process Analyst - Houston, TX

This is your opportunity to join a leading Oil and Gas company as an HR Data Analyst to provide value through various reporting, data analysis and process improvement projects. This is an long-term CONTRACT position, with the potential to go Permanent, that is located in the greater Houston area.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Ensures data in various platforms of HRIS, such as PeopleSoft, is complete and accurate
* Generate reports (ad-hoc) and automate metrics and analysis in dashboard
* Assist with audits, both external and internal
* Look for opportunities to improve current processes and reporting procedures and make recommendations
* Performs other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have:

* 4 year degree preferred
* At least 4 years of HR Reporting/Data Analysis experience
* Experience with process generation and design; HR application desired
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Visio; VLookups and Pivot Tables a must
* General knowledge of VBA is a plus
* Experience with HR platforms/systems in a reporting/administrative capacity; Workday would be a plus
* Eligibility to work in US without sponsorship

Payroll Specialist
Location: West Philadelphia, PA

Our client is a Pennsylvania headquartered, dynamic manufacturer who is looking to grow their payroll department by bringing on an experienced Payroll Specialist.

Payroll Specialist Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelors' Degree in in Human Resources, Business or a related function.
  • Experience within ADP Workforce Now Payroll is strongly preferred.
  • Must have experience with fixed and variable compensation.
  • Experience with at least 200 employees is a plus.
  • Responsible for the preparation and processing of all payroll cycles for multiple companies in multiple states.
  • Act as the liaison between business process owners and technical support for Ascentis HRIS and ADP.
  • Assist with the development of the companies compensation strategy for all US companies.
  • Conduct both internal and external compensation analysis.

This is an exciting position that will allow the proper individual to grow within the company as well as leads to management level roles.

Position Summary:
  • Advise on Competence Development, Assessment, Verification, across JV Gas organisation
  • Act as Lead Assessor - Train, Lead and Supervise team of discipline Assessors
  • Conduct assessments in discipline specialisation
  • Develop and Enhance Competence Profiles
  • Provide Reports on Competence Progress to Management
  • Train others in Competence system procedures, assessment techniques and preparation of competence profiles

Key Accountabilities:
  • Advising Assessors on best practice
  • Training dedicated Assessors and other in assessment theory, methodology and practice
  • Conducting assessments in own discipline
  • Verifying that assessments are conducted to required standards
  • Developing and / or enhancing Competence Profiles
  • Advising, Directing, Coaching others to develop and/or enhance Competence Profiles
  • Supervising the performance of Assessors
  • Ensuring assessment records are maintained
  • Reporting regularly on progress of the Competence Programme;
  • Meeting Competence KPI's
  • Conducting occasional training in own discipline specialisation
  • Identifying gaps in individual and organizational competence
  • Identifying training requirements to close competence gaps
  • Advising Team Leader on training needs

Responsibilities and abilities required:

  • Leads software design efforts through concepting, design, programming, testing and commissioning efforts per project requirements
  • Participates with the engineering team through concepting, design, programming, testing, and commissioning efforts
  • Develops design documentation, aligned and traceable with project contractual requirements
  • Interfaces with customer engineering and end-user contacts during project design and implementation cycle
  • Develops software control and execution programs and applications to manage manufacturing processes in a near real-time environment
  • Develops Factory Acceptance Test and Site Commissioning testing plans
  • Actively participates in off-line testing of software / hardware interfaces
  • Travels to site to support field efforts (20-35% travel required)
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and occasionally lift 25 lbs.

Qualifications and experience needed:

  • 3-5 Years' Experience in software design and development
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of Python along with application and relational mapper frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of Linux Operating systems and operations
  • SQL Database setup and programming, such as MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and SQLite
  • Proficiency in version control tools such as Git and Jira
  • Familiarity with Java
  • Familiarity with PLC communication interfaces for Siemens and Allen-Bradley platforms
  • Familiarity with Inductive Automation Ignition HMI Development

Additional Recommended Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in C and C development
  • Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming and development
  • .NET Framework experience a plus
  • Experience with commercially available MES packages
  • Data Collection & Management Systems for KPI and IIoT / Industry 4.0 data collection
