Job Title : TECHNICAL COORDINATOR


Primary purpose of job
To provide high level coordination and management advisory role to the Operations Manager -OM (D). The position
manages multidisciplinary coordination and acts as think tank in all operational, technical strategic, management and
administrative matters related to all Dukhan Operations departments. In addition the position is the focal point for all cross
VO and cross Directorate technical issues.The key objective of the position is to seek opportunities to increase efficiency
and reducing cost of operations, by improved resource utilization while ensuring Quality, Health Safety and Environmental
requirements through the implementation of Operational Excellence.This position is a member of OM(D) management
team.
Experience & Skills
Minimum 20 years experience of which at least 10 years in a senior position in the oil and gas industry covering
Engineering and Production operations.Shall be fully computer literate and able to independently generate reports and
presentations and be a self-starter.Fluency and clarity in verbal and written English, high integrity, mature temperament,
strong communication and interpersonal skills, sound analytical capability, innovative and original thinking with persuasive,
consensus building and conflict resolution skills.Ability to handle a number of assignments and tasks simultaneously. Self
motivated, dynamic with tact, confidentiality and diplomatic skills.Shall have proven record of performance in successfully
handling Oil Fields Operations, Maintenance practices, oil and gas well performance, Process, Onshore facilities, Pipelines,
Plant Designs and contract reviews, Cost/Benefit analysis, Project Engineering work Analysis, Budget and procurement
related activities, Improvement of production techniques, practices, evolvement of procedures and regulations, and has
good knowledge of design/Engineering of Hydrocarbon Industry.Ability to coordinate and facilitate high level meetings with
senior managers.
Education
BSc. Degree as a minimum and preferably MSc. Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering

Analytical Equipment Field Technician

My client is a global manufacturer and servicer of analytical instrumentation and equipment that are utilized in a wide variety of industries including, but not limited to petrochemical, refinery, environmental, food & beverage, and pharmaceutical. They are currently looking to bring on board a well-versed Field Service Engineer with experience in this space. I have listed the following responsibilities and requirements for this role. Job Description:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment, both in-house, as well as in the field
  • Troubleshooting problems on equipment
  • Installing and removing equipment at customer locations
  • Utilizing various tools, software, and test equipment for repair/maintenance
  • Provide training and support on equipment to customers
  • Provide technical support to customers
  • Interact daily with customers
  • Administrative duties such as expense, reports, customer information, etc.
  • Heavy travel, up to 70%, which can include overnight travel

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) OR related STEM degree
  • Certification in Electrical or Electronic Troubleshooting
  • 5 years of working experience around Analytical Equipment
  • Able to travel heavily, including overnight
  • Valid Driver License
  • Located in Houston, TX
