Location: Houston, TX

Job Description:

Our client is a Norwegian headquartered operator, who is looking to expand their Supply Chain department by bringing on an experienced Administrative Assistant.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to assigned manager / team
  • Manage diary and prepare expense reimbursements for assigned manager(s)
  • Coordinate Project travel arrangements (air, hotel, visas etc.)
  • Assist with visa, accommodation, local information etc. for visitors
  • Coordinate and maintain project lists for vacation, leave, events etc.
  • Prepare documents, reports, presentations and translations as requested by supervisor(s)
  • Coordinate meetings, take and distribute minutes from meetings as required
  • Coordinate with the Company secretary and others in matters of joint meetings and reports
  • Coordinate and support external and internal conferences, events and meetings
  • Maintain electronic filing system for all team related documents according to Company and Project guidelines and requirements
  • Prepare and maintain communication log books and corresponding files in the Company information management systems; log and distribute incoming correspondence
  • Upon receipt of incoming communication with actions marked out, the responsible for action is logged, and the necessary copies are taken and distributed
  • Word processing and control of the computer files with communication documents
  • Control of authorization, copying and distribution of communication, internal and external
  • Assist Document Control with registration copying and filing
  • Administer Project SharePoint sites
  • Other duties as assigned


Education:

  • Ideally some college education, or other relevant diploma, education or background
  • Diploma with a technical focus is an advantage
  • Relevant experience may replace formal education Experience
  • Preferably 2-3 years of relevant experience as a Project Assistant, Personal Assistant, Secretary or in other relevant administrative role
  • Experience with administrative work is an advantage

Temporary Resourcing Advisor

Petroplan are currently working with an EPC company in Aberdeen who are looking for a Temporary Resourcing Advisor.
Working in a busy environment the Resourcing Advisor will manage a portfolio of permanent and onshore temporary job requisitions this includes, advertising, CV screening, interviewing and seeing through the beginning of the on-boarding process. The Advisor will build strong relations with managers across the business to help plan and fulfil their resourcing needs.
Job Specific Duties:

  • Contributing to strategic resource planning, including the design and implementation of bespoke recruitment campaigns
  • Evaluating candidates skills, experience and qualifications through selection processes including, CV screening, competency and values based interviews and ability and aptitude tests
  • Managing redeployment, assisting redeployees to find suitable alternative employment within the business
  • Proactively establishing resourcing requirements; marketing roles, as an employer of choice via a range of channels
  • Delivering process/ systems related training to stakeholders
  • Fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to meet the expectations and requirements of customers and influence the opportunities for repeat business
  • Sourcing candidates to build and maintain talent pipelines through identifying and engaging with high calibre candidates
  • Provide advice and training to Hiring Managers to ensure they act legally and equally
  • The successful candidate will have a degree level qualification in a relevant subject. They will have significant experience of working as a Recruiter/Resourcing Adviser for a diverse range of positions within the oil and gas, or a technical environment. Ideally they will have experience using an applicant tracking system (Taleo and/or RDB is advantageous). They must be able to build strong relationships, problem solve, react quickly to changes and driven to deliver results.

Full time role in the Woodlands

Working with an exciting and very successful consulting company who highly value their employees and provide great benefits and support.

This is a Architect level role to lead a team.

We are looking for someone familiar with running Splunk in a large on premise enterprise. Someone with at least 2 years splunk experience.

The successful candidate will lead the team in expansion and sustainment projects for the Splunk infrastructure. They would also be responsible for being the Splunk SME on all new Splunk related projects that include use case development and Splunk premium application adoption. Future Projects may include IOT/Industrial Control (Nozomi) Data Ingestion , Splunk Enterprise Security, Cloud (AWS, Azure, GC, etc) Data Ingestion

Splunk Architect is preferred but not required. The candidate must be able to display an architect level competency.

Scripting in PowerShell and or python is a plus.

Technologies that the Candidate will be working with on a daily basis: Splunk 6.6.11, RedHat Enterprise Linux 7.x, Git, Puppet, BMC Remedy Custom Ticketing Front End

Petroplan is currently accepting applications for a Documentation Assistant to join a market leading Oil Field Service company. This position is contract to hire and located in Houston, TX.
Responsibilities:

  • Work with Production Department to retrieve documentation.
  • Label documentation per company procedure
  • Maintain documentation in preparation for assembly operations.


Requirements:

  • High School diploma or Associates Degree
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to work in fast pace environment
  • Set up and maintain manual filing systems
