Petroplan is currently working with a successful private equity backed E&P business who are currently in the process of increasing their rig count. Due to this, a need has arisen within the operations team to add a number of experienced HSE Supervisors to their Drilling operations team.

In this position, you will report directly into the Head of Drilling safety and function as the lead HSE consultant at rig site. You will be involved with ensuring that all activities are planned, scheduled and executed to achieve the agreed requirements in a safe and efficient manner. Key challenges will include:

  • Improving the pre-existing HSE policies and standard to increase safety without impacting rig efficiency
  • Running rig site training exercises when required
  • Perform audits and inspections to identify potential/existing hazards and deficiencies
  • Dealing with third party vendors with a strong focus on cost and performance

You must have at least 10 years of experience, including 6 years' experience in oil and gas operations working as a HSE Supervisor on Drilling projects. Experience working in the Permian is required.

Suitable candidates will be a driven, autonomous, self-motivated safety professional who is passionate and hungry to succeed.

Quality Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership for the Quality Control Program to ensure all products, raw materials, processes and services meet the Company's exceptionally high-quality standards
  • Establish and communicate quality metrics and data to department managers for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting
  • Leads and maintains all ISO certification plans for the business unit

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience related to quality assurance, lean manufacturing, regulatory compliance, and Six Sigma manufacturing; previous direct leadership experience preferred
  • Experience working in ISO, ISO internal auditor or ISO implementation experience required, must be familiar with either ISO9001, ISO17025 and/or ISO17034
  • Holds Quality certifications in one or more of the following: ASQ/CQE, CMQ/OE, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), or TQM

Our Client who is a leading Oil and Gas company are currently looking for Sr Marine Project Engineer to work in St. Johns, NL on a long-term contract basis.
As a senior team member, the Senior Project Engineer - Marine / Topsides will provide oversight to multiple marine scopes to ensure the standards, processes and procedures established for the project are being followed. Working closely with the project services team, you will ensure change management process is followed in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the conduit for all change management documentation for the marine scope
  • Provide technical advisory to marine team to ensure best practices are being applied
  • Reviewing and commenting on technical documents, procedures and project management documentation
  • Maintain the marine risk register and participate in risk assessments
  • Participate in technical and project management meetings with contractors and other team members
  • Act as a leader, mentor, and escalation path for 2 direct reports
  • Some international travel may be required (to Europe or USA) once every month or two to support the project; travel will be reimbursed as required.
  • This role is not entitled to any daily LOA as they are seeking a candidate local to the St. John's office.

Our client, an emerging Operator within the Oil & Gas Industry, has a requirement for an experienced Contracts Analyst with a focus on EPC Contract bids & tenders.
The role will be initially based in Houston, TX however may require visits to Project Sites both domestically and internationally.

Job Overview

The Contract Analyst will support the Project Manager Contracts & Procurement in administering and tracking EPC and other primary contracts. The Contracts Analyst will track, monitor contract changes, deliverables, notices, correspondence and help maintain associated documentation. In addition, the analyst will perform detailed analysis on all change orders and claims and will run financial and economic impacts as necessary. Participate in an open book process and provide support to the Contracts, Procurement and Project Controls team in an effort to achieve lump sum pricing for the EPC execution phase of multiple LNG projects.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Analyze material, notices, deliverables, proposals, open book estimates and change orders to advise project staff on issues and help in determining negotiation strategy.
  • Maintain tracking spreadsheets to monitor contracts, participate in efforts to conform cost plus work to lump sum EPC phase, and track subsequent change orders and notices.
  • Coordinate with members of the project teams to gather information and draft responses to contractor questions, notices and RFIs.
  • Create materials for project and other management reports (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel)
  • Interpret relevant data and information from a variety of industry, government and public sources.
  • Collaborates with other members of JV, or appropriate Stakeholders, as needed, to engage knowledge experts with a particular product category. Engage them in contract strategy and analysis as appropriate.
  • Use project tools to manage documentation relating to Project Contracts.
  • Develops and integrates contract management tools, templates, methods and processes.
  • Aids the Contracts Advisor and Sr. PM Contracts and Project Controls in preparation for meetings with contractors and management as required.
  • Aids in updating the Project Risk Register as project risks impacts and occurrence probability changes

Experience / Education

  • Ideally holds a Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 3 x years project experience within the energy / oil & gas industry
  • Ability to work with multiple parties and clients (internal and external)
  • Ability to create effective presentation graphics, and images in various formats for various uses
  • Ability to represent complex data relationships in simple, easy to visualize formats
  • Strong research capabilities; specifically researching LNG and contract information on multiple data bases
  • Ability to use technology to streamline tracking and contract management
  • Position requires modest supervision
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office software, specifically demonstrate a high proficiency in Excel
  • Must be able to know when to consult subject matter experts and go back to supervisor or client for more direction
