Petroplan is hiring a Transfer Analyst for a major Oil and Gas Company in Houston, TX.
This position requires a self-starter who is able to work independently with good decision making skills while gathering and analyzing complex data from a wide range of sources. The source of data includes but is not limited to leases, contracts, division orders, title opinions, curative and other such related documents.

The position requires someone knowledgeable about the upstream energy business who regularly acquires knowledge of industry practices, trends, regulations, laws, rulings as they pertain to our core business activities. This position requires someone skilled in all facets of ownership including various interaction levels with internal and external business partners.

This person in this role must possess strong analytical skills, computer skills and advanced knowledge about the use of core computer applications along with related applications that support our Project and business effort. The ability to interact with the upstream organization using excellent interpersonal skills, while being aligned to company goals and objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE AND ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
*Responsible for processing a high volume of transfer of interests in SAP while adhering to strict deadlines.
*Responsible for processing a high volume of Business Associate data related to Division Orders in SAP.
*Support and responsiveness to our Finance colleagues by making available ownership to allow for accurate and timely processing of production volumes, production revenue, and joint interest billing.
*Must possess advanced knowledge of formats of various legal descriptions so as to analyze spacing and unit map information and apply that information to our core business processes.
*Responding to phone calls, emails and mail from external and internal customers regarding title issues, inquiries and account questions.
*Clearly and effectively communicate with both internal and external business partners as well as property owners to obtain needed information and/or documents or to convey information.
*Adhere to internal document management process to ensure correspondence, instruments, records, and all other data are filed, imaged and indexed appropriately for retrieval and analysis.

Senior Cyber Security Analyst

On behalf of our client I am seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst for the DFW area.

The company is a large energy company with an excellent reputation of really valuing employees.

This is a true cyber role with much collaboration with the business and other stakeholders. You will be able to have a real input into which technologies, products and services the business uses to ensure their cyber security program works.


Responsibilities include performing analysis, evaluations and making recommendations of a range of cybersecurity products and services. Providing guidance on architectural issues to the business and internal IT. Identifying risks, threats and vulnerabilities for the network and all applications. You will also implement and administer technical solutions by using firewalls, intrusion detection technology and anti-virus and patching systems.

As this is an energy company there is also work around SCADA, IoT and other ICS systems. An understanding of how to protect, manage risk and make recommendations around these areas is paramount.


Finally, there is also responsibility for the companies Identity Access Management and GRC design.


Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's degree. A minimum of 8 years security experience. Oil and Gas experience is highly preferred. A proven track record of taking on a leadership role in other cybersecurity operations and projects. We are also looking for someone with a CISSP, CEH, CISA or similar certifications.

This will include leading efforts with network monitoring, analysing threats and intrusion attempts. Drawing up incident response plans. Arranging security assessments and penetration tests with vendors. You will also have the opportunity to evaluate existing cybersecurity tools and technologies and make recommendations for any changes you feel are needed.

The successful candidate will be someone who has at least 5 years experience within cyber security and a proven track record of leadership. As this is an oil and gas company we would also like experience with this sector and ICS (Industrial Control Systems). Relevant certifications such as the CISSP are also sought after.

Our client here in Houston has identified a need for continuous detection and response to advanced threats.

You will be responsible for providing cyber threat analysis and reporting. You will be providing in depth analysis and evaluation of security incidents.

This role will involve monitoring events and performing triage analysis and responding effectively by collecting and preserving digital evidence.

You will also produce reports, carry out extensive research and prepare training documentation as needed.

We would like to talk to candidates who have a bachelors degree in a related field or 2 years work experience in this field. Successful candidates are also likely to have their CISSP, CGEIT or CISM.

3 years of information security operations center or incident response experience, including at least 2 years in an Incident Responder/Handler role.

You must have experience managing cases with enterprise SIEM systems, such as - Arcsight, Splunk or QRadar.
