Role: Project Manager to support Identity Access Management Team
Duration: 6 months contract
Location: Houston

Skills and experience

  • 8-10 years of project management experience
  • Previous experience of working on complex projects
  • Proven experience of managing 3-5 large scale global projects
  • A successful relationship builder
  • A person comfortable with a flexible work schedule to accommodate for international communications
  • Active Directory experience a preference
  • Relevant project management certifications i.e PMP
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Awareness of budget



Responsibilities

  • To manage the scope of the project documenting and controlling the impact of change - project being, migration of users from one domain to another
  • Highlighting over- or under-spend at the appropriate level
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues and assumptions
  • Track, monitor and report on overall progress (time, cost and quality) and any potential for change
  • To manage project communication and ensure the project documentation is completed and accepted
  • Documentation
  • Running stand up meetings to stay focused on task

Petroplan is currently searching for a Jr. Python Analyst with an Oil & Gas/Reservoir background or education for a client here in Houston. Our client is one of the top oil & gas organizations locally, and are looking for candidates that can help develop and maintain their GIS applications. Strong candidates will be able to write new python scrips and enhance existing code.

Requirements & Responsibilities

  • B.S. in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or related Oil & Gas Degree
  • 0-2 years of experience working with Python scripts
  • Ideal candidates will have Oil & Gas experience either in education or work experience.
  • Knowledge of ESRI, ArcGIS, and Voyager is also a PLUS
  • Work with team to help define and scale new GIS technologies
  • Be focused on both enhancing python scrips, and developing new code

We are currently engaged with one of our key Energy clients that is seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Administrator for an upcoming project in Houston.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of SAP BASIS administration experience. The role will involve archiving, database backup/recovery. security analysis, and system restores.

The caniddate will also participate in SAP technical trouble shooting processes by working with the application teams and managed service providers to resolve the issues as required.

Candidates must be local to Houston and eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

The position is with a global industrial automation company looking to grow their R&D/Proof of Concepts team. You will be doing 100% new development working with Cloud, IoT, and Open Stack Server development. They are looking for someone who is able to program with your basic C/C , but also someone who can help scale new technology using Python, C#, Azure or AWS, and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities:
