Marine Civil engineer

Exciting Opportunity with a well established Marine company based in East Scotland.

Core Responsibilities:

> Support sales and management team in prequalifying the company tenders.

> Manage tender processes until contract award.

> Manage project execution from preparation until completion (Cost, Quality, Planning)

> Liaising with clients, contractors and other associated personnel on the project.

> On small scale marine structures: being able to design structures (Fenders, piles)

Required experience:

>Member of the Institute Civil Engineer or Similar

>Previous experience on Marine construction projects

>Competent in the use of Auto Cad and other relevant dedicated tools

>Dynamic personality with the ability to drive and deliver a high-class Civil engineering project.

>Ability to multi-task under pressurized environment

>At least 3/5 years proven experience as a Project Manager

>Strong contractual and commercial skills

>Ability to develop and maintain client relationship

Senior Project Engineer - Towing and Mooring

Position: Senior Project Engineer - Towing & Mooring
Location: Aberdeen / (Remote working in current times)
Contract Length: 6 months, renewable

My client is a well know EPIC Contractor in the Oil & Gas Industry, they have over the past few years diversified and now have active projects in the Renewables Sector.

They are looking to expand on the capabilities they currently have and are looking to bring on a Senior Project Engineer with experience in Towing and Mooring both from an Operations/Installation standpoint but ideally also somebody with experience in Analysis.

The successful candidate will be working on a range of projects including Floating Wind Farms.

Lead Construction Engineer

The experience required:

1. Graduate with BSc in engineering science from reputed institute. An advanced degree or qualification in construction management is highly desirable.

2. Minimum 15 years of experience in oil and gas industry with at least 10 years in construction engineering & management including brownfield & marine projects.

3. Certified construction manager as per recognised international bodies like APM, PMI or equivalent.

4. Awareness of Shell DEP on Construction Management, Marine & Diving Standards.

5. Experience as a Construction Lead is a must for coastal marine or marine and civil projects. Experience in building temporary construction facilities is preferred.

6. Experience as Contract Representative in delivering offshore projects involving marine barges, vessels, installation vessels is a must.

7. Experience in turnaround management and permit to work management is a must.

8. Experience in managing EPC contractors of > 15 mm USD including mobilisation is a must.

9. Experience in delivering project assurance activities like Maintainability, Operability & Constructability Reviews, SIMOPS, HAZID, Permitting Plan, Turnaround Assurance Review.

Lead Engineer

  1. Graduate with BSc in engineering science. Civil/Marine Engineering preferred.
  2. Minimum 15 years of experience in oil and gas industry with at least 10 years in coastal/marine engineering.
  3. Atleast 5 years' experience as engineering lead and managing Engineering and EPC contractors to deliver engineering scope and technical assurance during construction specifically across coastal marine, pipeline & civil projects.
  4. Certified TA2 for coastal engineering or civil. Familiar with Shell DEP, DEM1, DEM2
  5. Experience in brownfield projects engineering and developing scope of work is a must.
  6. Experience in working on document management system like ASSAI.
