  • Coordinates and leads Kaizen events
  • Train on Lean manufacturing process
  • Participates in audits and develops strong understanding of Toyota Lean principles and tools
  • Reduce lead time though multiple departments


Lean Supervisor Qualifications:

  • 4 years in a lean implementation role

Due to this continued growth, a need has arisen within the Drilling team to add a highly experienced Drilling Engineer to their Permian operations division to assist with the ongoing and upcoming unconventional projects.

In this position, you will report directly into the Drilling Engineering Manager and act as the focal point for drilling engineering activity. You will be involved with ensuring that all activities are planned, scheduled and executed to achieve the agreed requirements in a safe and efficient manner. Key challenges will include:

  • Preparing operational plans for planned wells and liaising with other departments when required
  • Responsible for drilling optimization, identifying best practises and running lessons learned when required
  • Travel to the field is required as and when needed
  • Deal with third party vendors with a strong focus on cost and performance

You must have at least 10 years of experience, including 6 years' experience in oil and gas operations working as a Drilling Engineer. Experience working in the Permian is preferred and must hold at least a Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline.

Suitable candidates will be a driven, autonomous, self-motivated safety professional who is passionate and hungry to succeed.

  • Maintain the break in work of creating on/off PR requests from the field as conditions and situations change within the job scope.
  • Heavily involved in reviewing and forwarding invoices that have been through the field approval process. Involving check of network opening, incorrect coding and work orders not showing up in ADP
  • Release networks for Monthly AFE packages


Requirements:

  • 0-2 years prior experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • High level of competency in SAP and ADP
