Maintenance Reliability Engineer

Petroplan is currently accepting applications for a Maintenance Reliability Engineer to join the Open Pit Maintenance Team. This is a permanent position and will be located within Nevada.
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular and formal downtime analysis for critical mining equipment
  • Identify quantify, and implement initiatives that will improve overall equipment reliability and performance
  • Provide reliability input into Maintenance Procedures, Standards and Specifications


Requirements:

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar or equivalent work experience in a reliability role
  • 2-3 years of previous experience within Mining industry
  • CMRP or CRE certification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills

Underground Mobile Maintenance Reliability Engineer

Petroplan is currently accepting applications for an Underground Mobile Maintenance Reliability Engineer to join the team. Prospective candidates will be responsible for sustaining current and developing new advanced reliability tools and work processes to support reliability efforts in the underground division. Also, operate within the Mobile Maintenance Department.
Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the predictive maintenance program in addition to creating engineered solutions to complex equipment problems
  • Identify and set priorities on opportunities for reliability improvement by mining information using reliability databases
  • Statistically analyze equipment and underground performance to assess reliability, maintainability, and availability


Requirements:

  • 2-3 years experience in Operations, preferably in a manufacturing/ processing
    or mining environment
  • Bachelors of Science in Engineering or equivalent work experience in a reliability role
  • Five hundred (500) hours of project management experience on projects individually valued over $100,000
  • CMRP and/or Certified Plant Maintenance Manager

Senior Process Control Engineer

Petroplan is now accepting applications for a Senior Process Control Engineer candidate who will work closely with Process Operations and Maintenance. Prospective candidates will provide advice and support together with maintaining and modifying the control systems and control strategies used to monitor, control and interface the operator to process areas throughout the mine site.
Responsibilities:

  • Solutions implementation and support of the project team objectives
  • May provide technical direction or leadership on a project basis for one to six process control engineers
  • Plans and coordinates technical design and engineering implementation of project work


Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering OR computer related field and/or five (5) to ten (10) years' experience maintaining and troubleshooting controls systems
  • Minimum of 8 years of Mining experience
  • Must have proven experience with any PLCs, DCS Systems AND HMI or SCADA software packages
  • Ability to work in fast pace environment

About the role
We are looking for a Specialist - Windows 10 to support ongoing operations and maintenance of Desktop and Mobile device operating environment across Rio Tinto, including Subject Matter Expertise, according to defined SLAs.
The role is a great opportunity to work on a large, complex Citrix XenDesktop & XenApp implementation supporting over 50,000 users.
Reporting to Manager - End User Device & Access Enablement, you will:

  • Support the delivery of the ongoing operations and maintenance of Windows, iOS and Android device standard operating environment across
  • Support the development of solution architecture and roadmaps.
  • Act as the SME for standard operating environment implementation projects·
  • Proactively engage with architecture, partners and other teams to ensure the systems and solutions stay up to date aligning with technology roadmaps.
  • Support the development, communication, and maintenance of relevant standards for all enterprise units with Plan.
  • Support operational direction to manage all aspects of scope
  • Supervise tactical support that ensures system health with current maintenance


About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related degree
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Exposure to OS deployments with large scale and diverse organizations
  • Exposure to technology architecture domains.
  • Working in the IT department of a global diversified corporation
  • Ability to effectively work with multiple stakeholders, in multiple regions / time zones


Knowledge of:

  • Windows 10 security
  • Microsoft SCCM & Group Policy Object Management
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Strong ability to drive continuous improvement and application of emerging technologies
  • Strategic and organizational agility.
