Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Completion of Secondary (10 years) education followed by 3 yrs. Diploma or apprenticeship in Production, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical engineering or equivalent (equivalent to UK NVQ, HNC or preferably Bachelor's Degree)

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years' oil & gas field experience in Maintenance or Operations (of which 3 years spent in a supervisory position).
  • Thorough understanding of Operations Safety Case requirements, statutory requirements and safe systems of work including the Permit to Work (PTW), isolation procedures and risk assessment.

Other Competencies / Skills / Others:

  • Working knowledge of computer applications software such as Microsoft Office / Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (ideally Oracle Enterprise Asset Management).

Senior Operations & Maintenance Specialist

  • Petroplan are currently recruiting for a Senior Operations & Maintenance Specialist, requirement and duties include;
    • Leads & coordinates discipline as a project management team member.
    • Manages the interface between Client's project team and O&M engineering design team.
    • Manages all discipline related engineering activities, review and approval (internal and where applicable Client approval) of deliverables, inter- disciplinary checks and assures compliance with contractual requirements,


e.g. complete delivery of LOD, maximum duration of review cycles, engineering quality, project schedule, etc.

  • Supports overall project management, task management, change/contract management, progress reporting and development of project presentations


- Ensure the changes within the discipline are managed and communicated to the other discipline in cases they are affected.

  • Responses to Technical Queries (TQ's) and written clarification requests by 3rd parties and attend clarification meetings

  • Technical Document Review
    • Ensures that correct input data, codes & standards are used and adhered to.
    • Reviews of project basis of design, technical queries, and active participation in the stage of data gathering.
    • Reviews selection and implementation of correct design concepts and fundamental technology used for the project and/or proposes improvements for the design.
    • Reviews all relevant design calculations and performs cross-check calculations if required.


- Reviews various discipline related engineering deliverables (Basis of Designs, Philosophies, O&M Manual Requirements, O&M Specifications for Contractors & Suppliers, RAM, Maintenance & Inspection Plans, O&M Manpower Estimations, other discipline related Documents, etc.).
- Actively participates in HSE document reviews & workshops, such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIL/LOPA, FERA, ENVID, SIMOPS, Plant Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), QRA, Safety & Environment Critical Elements (SECE) and related Performance Standards, Constructability, ALARP Workshops, etc..

    • Actively participates in 3D model reviews.
    • Strict adherence to established procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to
  • Creating and implementing best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
  • Preparing the annual maintenance budget and forecasts and all capital expenditure proposals, as well as ensuring compliance with legal standards
  • Managing the budget from identification through to completion of projects
  • Managing, coaching and developing a high performing Maintenance Team that meets agreed objectives
  • Implementing and managing continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and process simplification
  • Contributing to new business initiatives and projects and reviewing and communicating the impact on maintenance activities

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of Maintenance Management experience within the Oil & Gas industry.

Position: HSE Manager

Purpose of the Role:

This role is responsible for the overall management, development, and maintenance of effective, Health, Safety and Environmental programs, including managing compliance and directing the development, deployment and continuous improvement of environmental, health and safety management systems across company operations.

Job Function:

  • Advising management on the requirements of company policies and standards for occupational health in line with local legal requirements, OGP standards, best practise in Industry and gain their commitment for achieving these to ensure best practice.
  • Working with the technical/operations teams on the Risk Management process (i.e. HAZID, Risk Assessment and HAZOP, etc.).
  • Providing guidance on all process safety standards, guidelines & codes in projects and
  • operations (ASME, ASTM, BSI etc.).
  • Write and assist subsidiaries to write HSE procedures and emergency plans, identifying potential emergency scenarios and developing emergency preparedness plans.
  • Reviewing all new project contractors' relevant HSE documents e.g. HSE-MS; project HSE plans, JHA, Risk assessment, safe work method statement etc.
  • Facilitating and participating in technical process safety studies e.g. FEED Reviews, HAZOP, HAZIDS, SIL, LOPA, Design EER, Design safety case studies etc.

Qualification & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in science or environmental management disciplines.
  • Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in the oil and gas industry with relevant professional membership of waste/ environmental management institute
