Key Accountabilities


The Products Trading Workstream is an exciting initiative supporting the ongoing stand-up of the new Refined Products Trading business within existing Crude trading platform. Reporting to the workstream lead, you will support the scoping, requirements gathering, design and implementation of new products trading activities. You will be working with individuals from the Supply, Trading and Optimization (STO) business unit, various finance/accounting functions, middle office functions, and supporting business units such as Tax and Legal to implement required changes to enable high-value add trading activities.

  • Coordinate amongst multiple functions the implementation of new transfer prices into a database system called MarketView
  • Evaluation of market-based prices relative to historical wholesale sales prices
  • Work with change to develop and communicate a robust sustainment plan
  • Provide guidance/coordination around business process changes within STO to support the ongoing buildup of supporting functions to the Products Trading business (I.e. scheduling, LP, back office, middle office, etc.)
  • Solicit support and create a subject matter working team
  • Build on the current state processes and roles and responsibilities work done thus far
  • Identify required data and process requirements to streamline service offerings
  • Collaborate with appropriate functions to build out new processes and clarify roles & responsibilities

This is a 6 month contract position.

Key Accountabilities

Support and comply with the policies, goals, efforts, and programs of CPCs Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management System
Collect and extract well pad emulsion samples.
Collect gas samples
Prepare collected or extracted samples for analysis or shipping.
Perform various routine tests in an efficient manner, primarily Karl Fischer water analysis.
Communicate sample results clearly and efficiently
Utilize, calibrate and maintain Karl Fischer titrator
Collect process samples in an operating plant, following all applicable safety precautions
Ensure laboratory facility is kept clean and in a safe and functional condition
Ensure that all laboratory supplies and expendables are available and in stock
Interface with Operators, Process and Facility Engineers, and Site Management

Required and Preferred Skills and Experience

This is a safety sensitive position and will be subject to the relevant requirements of the CPC's Alcohol and Drug policy, which includes pre-assignment testing

  • Prepare contract change notices, monitor contract performance, including the reporting and status of contractor and owner deliverables.
  • Obtain estimates and ensure contract change execution in accordance with company policy and change order requests are reviewed and back up documentation is provided and justified.

Our client is recruiting for a Project Surveyor on long term contract basis (12 months) to join their team in either Aberdeen or London
This role will report to the Project Survey Lead; the successful applicant will provide technical expertise and support definition and supply of survey related requirements to projects and tenders. This position will be working as part of an integrated project team to review the requirements set by the client , develop relevant methodologies, procedures and budgets and facilitate between internal functions and external suppliers to deliver the required services.
The role will be an onshore position based in the Aberdeen or London offices, with possible occasional temporary offshore assignments and international travel as required to meet business needs.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that all Survey related activities are undertaken in accordance with HSEQ procedures
  • Provide technical and commercial input to tenders
  • Provision of survey support to SURF/IRM/Survey projects throughout the project life cycle
  • Develop project procedures and quality plans
  • Ensure that offshore personnel requirements are identified and communicated in a timely manner to the Survey Crewing & Logistics co-ordinators
  • Identify required equipment and communicate these requirements to the internal survey engineering support group to ensure timely delivery of equipment to worksites
  • Support project during Client meetings and act as liaison on behalf of project both with internal and external interfaces
  • Attend onshore calibrations, SIT/FAT, mob/demob briefings at various locations and worksites as required
  • Manage and lead 3rd party service providers ensuring that the services are provided in line with agreed specification and internal standards
  • Undertake project briefings/ debriefings during periods of mob / demobilisation with key survey personnel / other project personnel

Qualifications and Education

  • A higher education qualification in a Survey related science subject or professional association is preferred.


Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in an offshore and/or onshore survey position working in the subsea construction support and inspection industry is essential
  • High level of knowledge and understanding of current offshore construction/IRM/survey techniques, technologies and best practice


IT Systems

  • Must be familiar with standard business applications such as Microsoft Word & Excel.

  • Review actual maintenance cost of each equipment in each unit/ section, consolidate and evaluation for Managers' review.
