A leading Calgary based manufacturer of "best in class" slickline tools are looking to hire a Sales Manager to help lead their global sales efforts.

Having historically relied on "word of mouth" sales, the business are looking for a motivated sales professional to lead global sales efforts. The role will involve extensive travel globally and will encompass a mix of Account Management of existing customers as well as developing new business.

The business specializes in the design and manufacture of tools such as Running Tools, Pulling Tools, Wireline Tool String Accessories etc. Consequently, the position is suitable for someone with extensive experience of selling similar tools, and ideally with practical experience of running such tools.

On offer is an attractive compensation structure and an opportunity to join a business with a flat structure (Role reports to President).

Please note that this role is Calgary based, consequently applicants must be eligible to live and work in Alberta without sponsorship.

  • Assess the client's obligations and liabilities, including insurance requirements, bank guarantee wordings, payments terms, etc.

Subsea Structural Engineer

Our client, a large Oil & Gas organisation is looking to add a Subsea Structural Engineer, based in St. John's NL. Candidates need to based locally.


This is a 1 year independent contract that is expected to be extended for 2.5 years depending on the progress of the project, needs of the business etc. This is a Monday to Friday, 8-5 office position based in St. John's, NL but will require frequent local travel to fabrication sites.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Subsea Projects Team with the design and fabrication of subsea manifold structures, including associated testing, inspections, loadout and installation, as required.
* Manage contractor design in accordance with industry codes, standards and design guidelines, client specifications and project scope of work.
* Lead the review of contractor design documentation including detailed design reports, equipment specifications, data sheets and Material Take Offs.
* Provide day to day support for projects where required including internal progress reporting.
* Travel to and from fabrication sites/facilitates to review or oversee scope progress when required (estimated once or twice per week)
* Promote positive safety culture.

Requirments:
* Minimum of 10 years related experience in offshore oil and gas development/operations.
* Bachelor's Degree or Masters of Science in Engineering.
* Professional Engineering Designation.
* Fabrication site and/or shop experience.
* Aware of all relevant codes and standards applicable to subsea structures design and fabrication.
* Extensive knowledge and understanding of CNLOPB regulatory requirements.
* Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work closely with teams of engineering staff and contractors.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team and with others outside the formal organization.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications.
* Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
* High goals and standards for self with personal commitment to maintaining professional competency through continuing education, training and development.

Nice to Haves:
* Design and/or design verification experience including interfacing with Certifying Authority.
* Familiarity with the industry governing specifications for all aspects of subsea structural design and fabrication in Newfoundland and Labrador.
* Experience with managing project interfaces, both internal and external.
* Previous experience and/or qualifications with welding qualification and testing.
* Experience with the integration of controls hardware.
* Experience with Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Integration Testing for subsea structures and systems

Quality Engineer Responsibilities

  • Drive Continuous Process Improvement using statistical techniques and lean methodology
  • Improve Quality Management System procedures
  • Perform internal and external audits and facilitate action plans for non-conformance's
  • Train employees on ISO-9001, statistical techniques problem solving and quality awareness
  • Support engineering product launches providing PPAP direction for the organization including but not limited to Control Plans, PFMEA, DFMEA, process Maps, and Capability Studies


Quality Engineer Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field
  • 3-5 years' experience as a Quality Engineer and in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have an extensive understanding of statistics and be Proficient in data analysis


Preferred Experience

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
  • Six Sigma Green/Black belt

Job Overview


The I&CS Engineer will provide leadership, coordination, guidance, mentoring, and supervision for all phases of capital project planning, design, execution, and startup. Lead multi-functional engineering team.
The ideal candidate will provide assistance to the Project team and work with project managers to provide support on reliability reviews, safety system reviews, equipment strategy development and TA maintenance reviews


Responsibilities

  • Act as SME (subject matter expert) for all I&CS equipment on Projects and provide technical support for various Project groups.
  • Perform design reviews, factory acceptance testing for instrumented systems on large refinery capital projects
  • Provide assistance to the Project team and work with project managers to provide support on reliability reviews, safety system reviews, constructability reviews, equipment strategy development and TA maintenance reviews
  • Estimates costs for engineering & construction projects
