Senior Software Developer/Software Architect

A wonderful senior software role working with a team of innovators making a real impact on the business.

Responsibilities include:

Collaborate with product stakeholders and peers to design and enhance software for robust and sustainable products
Develop and support an established Delphi code-based product, including
Adding feature enhancements per the product owner
Debugging and fixing issues as reported by end-users
Supporting a steady software release cycle to the user base
Commercial software licensing and new user support

Reverse engineering functionality from the code base
What we are looking for:
· Minimum 3 years relevant experience
· Solid experience in a Senior Software Developer or Software Architect role
· Solid development experience with Delphi, or C with a willingness to learn Delphi
· Windows Desktop Applications development using Delphi/Visual C /VB.net/C#
· BS, preferred in Computer Science/Math
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Independent worker and ability to apply good judgment and decision-making skills

Preferred experience with:
· 2D and/or 3D graphical modelling
· Object oriented programming and multithreading
· Development in a full Software Design Life Cycle (SDLC)
· Proficient with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
· Committed to writing well documented code with solid unit test coverage
· Understanding of software quality assurance principles and continuous integration
· Windows desktop development for scientific domains
· Oilfield science and engineering application experience is a plus
· Professional certification and licenses related to software development is a plus

Senior Production Engineer

Summary

Petroplan is actively recruiting for a Senior Production Engineer on behalf of a Houston based Oil & Gas company focusing on international offshore assets. This role will require a driven, self starter who feels at home working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a fast moving environment.

Given the company's Latin American assets we are looking for a bilingual professional who can speak fluently, read and write Spanish. In addition to this, strong experience in Nodal Analysis, well surveillance and flow assurance will be highly beneficial. Regular international travel will be required.

Requirements

- B.S. Engineering Degree (Master's preferred)
- 10 years' of production engineering experience
- Experience with offshore development projects, ideally in Latin America
- Field and office based experience working for an oil & gas operating company
- The ability to speak, read and write Spanish fluently
- Sour gas production experience
- Prior work with carbonate reservoirs
- Experience with Electric Submersible Pumps (ESPs)

Petroplan is currently accepting resumes for a Project / Production Planner to join a market leading Oil Field Service company in Houston, TX. This opportunity will be a 6 month to a year long contract.
Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for just in time planning, material requirements planning, capacity planning, and production activity control.
  • Coordinates planning strategy for dependent and non-master items with Master Planner.
  • Reconciles problems by identifying work error messages, expediting material shortages, and coordinating with other planners


Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in manufacturing, procurement, or customer service related services.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business related
  • Ability to work in fast pace environment
