Prospective candidates will be ensuring technical quality and the application of practical, operable, and innovative technology by the engineering contractors. The Instrument and Control engineer will also help to ensure contractor engineering discipline work is completed in an efficient manner and supports project schedule milestones
Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Master's Degree is a PLUS
  • 11 years of previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Ability to work within the US

Junior Operator

Our client, a leading Oil & Gas owner/operator organization is looking to add a Junior Operator to their team for a 6 month contract. This position is based in Odessa, Texas, 5/2 Rotation with an occasional weekend shift.


This individual will be responsible for well operations, gas lifted wells, ESP's, three phase separation, gas compression, minor maintenance of valves etc.


Key Responsibilities

* Prepare for and perform maintenance, taking readings, doing rounds, issuing work permits, following procedures, initiating work requests, writing procedures, and interfacing with support groups.
* Proactively monitor well and equipment performance, take appropriate action to maximize production.
* Work with support groups to optimize chemical pump rates based on production data (corrosion, paraffin, soap injection, etc.).
* Interface with Engineering for data gathering requests.
* Track test compression data.

Key Requirements

* 1 -3 years of experience within Oilfield operations required
* High School Diploma
* Knowledge of Well Optimization Practices
* Demonstrates the ability to learn terminology, applications and standard procedures for performing the job function.
* Performs routine, basic office/field tasks using established procedures.

Multi-Skilled Operator II

Petroplan is currently accepting applications for a Multi-Skilled Operator II to join a market leading Oil & Gas company. This position is a year long contract, 10 days on / 4 days off, and will be located in Goldsmith, TX. Prospective candidates will be responsible for well operations, gas lifted wells, ESP's, three phase separation, gas compression, control board operation, pipeline operation, minor maintenance of valve, pumps and rotating equipment and assisting the other operators and craft personnel in their duties.
Requirements:

  • 3 - 6 years of previous experience
  • Associate's Degree
  • Ability to solve problems and make basic decisions

Our client is a Houston manufacturer of laboratory equipment, test and measurement products who are looking to hire an Operations Manager for their South Houston location. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for development and growth with an International company.

Operations Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategy discussions for new product development and provide input to support successful commercial launches.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment, collaborate and interfacing with other business functions.
  • Create and maintain a Continuous Improvement environment by implementing Lean Manufacturing Methodologies.
  • Weekly 5S goals and activity.
  • Assist Engineering, Finance, Shipping and Procurement for improve on time delivery (OTD).

Operations Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree Engineering, Operations, or a related technical field.
  • 5 years of related experience, including large teams and volume production.
  • 2 years of direct supervisory experience.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is a must.
