Our client is a global oilfield equipment manufacturer looking to hire an ambitious Production Manager in order to keep up with company growth and market demand.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performance appraisals, goal setting, training and monitoring of personnel.
  • Develops and maintains team environment within the group through the planning and coordinating of group activities.
  • Assigns work to team/team leaders and monitors results.
  • Supports short and long range goals consistent with manufacturing management, production teams and the company.
  • Ensures efforts are directed towards process improvements, develops procedures and policies for assigned areas, and maintains compliance to safety policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for cost and quality of those functions under their leadership.


Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in a technical field
  • 2 years of manufacturing experience or leadership experience

  • Lean Six Sigma concepts and projects

Petroplan is hiring a Technician - Electro/Mechanical for a major Oil and Gas company in the Houston, TX area

Job Duties:

  • Performs routine and some non-routine testing/analyzing processes with demonstrated proficiency.
  • Has some latitude for problem-solving.
  • Works under general supervision for repetitive tasks, and under direct supervision for new tasks.
  • Skills typically acquired through 1-2 years working in a related technician capacity.
  • Familiarity with common hand tools including; Torque Wrenches, Calipers, Scales, Pressure Gauges, Screwdrivers, Wrenches, and Crimpers
  • intermediate knowledge in the use of electronic measurement devices such as - Multi-meters, O-Scopes, Mega-Ohm Meters, and Digital Power Supplies
  • Must be able to interpret and understand mechanical drawings and prints
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and trace wiring issues using wiring diagrams

This would be for the 2nd shift 2 pm to 10:30 pm **MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THIS**

This role will be responsible for building and managing a team of engineers & technicians and develoing strategic plans to effectively utilize emerging technologies for measurement, automation and communication.

Production Engineer

Position: Production Engineer

Job type: Permanent

Location: Energy Corridor, Houston

Petroplan is currently working with a Publicly Traded E&P business who are currently in the process of increasing their head count. Due to this, a need has arisen within the operations team to add an experienced Production Engineer to their operations team to assist with the ongoing and upcoming unconventional projects.

In this position, you will report directly into the Head of Development and function as the lead for Production engineering. You will be involved with ensuring that all activities are planned, scheduled and executed to achieve the agreed requirements in a safe and efficient manner. Key challenges will include:

  • Increasing production levels by replicating and testing new completions methods
  • Evaluate and plan Artificial lift methods primarily Gas lift & Plunger lift
  • Provide Engineering support and Well Surveillance

You must have at least 7 years of experience, including 3 years' experience in oil and gas operations working as a Production Engineer on Drilling projects.

Suitable candidates will be a driven, autonomous, self-motivated safety professional who is passionate and hungry to succeed.

At this point the client are unable to sponsor VISAs.

Senior Production Engineer

Summary

Petroplan is actively recruiting for a Production Engineer on behalf of a Houston based Oil & Gas company focusing on offshore assets. This role will require a driven, self starter who feels at home working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a fast moving environment.

Given the company's Latin American assets we are looking for a bilingual professional who can speak, read and write Spanish. In addition to this, strong experience in completions & workovers, well surveillance and flow assurance will be highly beneficial.

Requirements

- B. S. Degree (Petroleum Engineering preferred)
- 12 years of production engineering experience
- Experience with offshore projects, ideally in Latin America
- The ability to speak, read and write Spanish fluently
