Cyber Security Analyst - Technical Lead

Provides cybersecurity expertise in the development and execution of cybersecurity initiatives and strategies.
Serves as the technical lead on major cybersecurity incidents and leads the coordination of other cybersecurity events with the Cybersecurity Operations team.
Performs risk assessments, determines the cause of security violations and recommends security measures or systems to mitigate risk.
Monitors security alerts on internet and other intelligence feeds and determines whether reported threats could impact information technology or operational technology systems.
Interacts with end users concerning malware, spam, vulnerabilities and any other cybersecurity issues.

Plans and implements highly complex cybersecurity technology projects.

Implements and ensures technical security systems and compliance solutions. Documents and maintains objective evidence to demonstrate regulatory compliance.

12 years of cyber security experience

CISSP, GIAC, or similar certification

Gas Chromatograhpy Field Service Technician

My client is a global manufacturer and servicer of analytical instrumentation and equipment that are utilized in a wide variety of industries including, but not limited to petrochemical, refinery, environmental, food & beverage, and pharmaceutical. They are currently looking to bring on board a well-versed Field Service Technician with experience around Gas Chromatography. I have listed the following responsibilities and requirements for this role. Please apply if you feel your background is a fit for this opportunity. This is a full time, permanent position. This role will include heavy travel with a territory across the Northeast and Midwest.

Job Description:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment, both in-house, as well as in the field
  • Troubleshooting problems on equipment
  • Installing and removing equipment at customer locations
  • Utilizing various tools, software, and test equipment for repair/maintenance
  • Provide training and support on equipment to customers
  • Provide technical support to customers
  • Interact daily with customers
  • Administrative duties such as expense, reports, customer information, etc.
  • Heavy travel, up to 70%, which can include overnight travel



Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) OR related STEM degree
  • Certification in Electrical or Electronic Troubleshooting
  • 5 years of working experience around Analytical Equipment
  • Able to travel heavily, including overnight
  • Valid Driver License

Product Engineer for a growing and innovative cybersecurity company
Contract to Hire
Houston or Austin
Working as part of a research team to develop ideas and processes to bring new product and application solutions to market.
Improving performance and design of existing products and overseeing production and packaging for the final solution.
Design, model, and test prototypes to be provided as a service
Conduct research and create design proposals for projects
Establish design briefs and testing plans
Create concepts, performance, and production criteria
Identify and select materials needed for testing and production
Produce final drawings and specifications
Make samples of working models for demonstration * Plan marketing initiatives for product
Negotiate appropriate production processes
Travel to production facilities to evaluate processes
Improve usability/UX in UI applications
What we are looking for:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or 5 years relevant experience
At least 4 years of experience in virtual environment, network and/or application security engineering with proven design skills (i.e. project list)
Consistent track record implementing security solutions from integration/engineering phase to operation at the business unit
Excellent knowledge of Linux/Unix (preferably Ubuntu)
Knowledge of Internet protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, TACACS, IPSEC, SNMP, SYSLOG)
Strong scripting skills in multiple common languages (e.g. Python Ruby, bash)

Experience in Cisco and Linux network configuration, benchmarking, debug and analysis (using Wireshark)
Excellent communication, documentation, work prioritization and analytical skills
Essential knowledge and skills: A knowledge of application development and networking telecommunications will enable the candidate to leverage the company's existing capabilities in development and support of new products.

Senior Process Engineer

A leading North American Oil & Gas operator organization is looking to add a Senior Process Engineer due to their expanding footprint in the Denver, Colorado Area. This is an exciting full time permanent job working on the organization's upcoming high profile projects.

This senior individual will provide technical direction and oversight to the process engineers and contractor to ensure that the process designs meet the intended objectives.
On a day to day basis, the Senior Process Engineer will:

  • Take on project designs from initial inception phase to final completion
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge in the area of process engineering and provide technical guidance and mentoring to younger process engineers
  • Represent process engineering to operations personnel in the design and implementation of process designs
  • Complete process engineering designs and process studies as required for the small capital projects group
  • Participate in and offer advice during process hazard analysis (PHA) or layers of protection analysis (LOPA) for small capital projects
  • Demonstrate a safety mindset both on and off the job
  • Develop and sustain internal and external customer relationships in order to ensure appropriate partners have reviewed process designs
  • Provide technical mentorship for refinery operations, catalyst loadings, turnarounds, etc.


The Individual

  • Ten years of process engineering experience, with a strong exposure to the downstream and refining sector.
  • Five years of project design & process design experience
  • Three years of operational and functional support experience.
  • A Bachelor's Degree of Chemical Engineering is needed.
  • The Ability to use Aspentech's HYSYS process simulator is needed as well as the Ability to learn new computer packages specific to the business (Book, KMS, PSPPM, SAP etc.)
