Position: Owner Relations /Lease Analyst/Division Order Analyst

Job type: Contract, 12 months, Mond- Fri

Location: Houston

Petroplan is currently working with an expansion focused E&P business who are in the process of increasing their operations team in their Houston base and due to this continued growth, a need has arisen within the business to add an experienced Owner Relations analyst to their operations division to assist with the ongoing and upcoming unconventional projects.

In this position, you will be involved analysing and validating ownership, property and production information related to the core business processes. This includes review of all leases and related contracts captured in Quorum Land System. Key challenges will include:

  • Contributing to the setup, revision and maintenance of all division order information in SAP/PRA which includes understanding and manipulating unit tracts, bearer groups, and all other related system required data in SAP/PRA.
  • Responding to phone calls, emails and correspondence from mineral owners and working interest partners regarding title issues, inquiries and account questions.
  • Adhering to internal document management process to ensure correspondence, instruments, records, and all other data are filed, imaged and indexed appropriately for retrieval and analysis.
  • Contribute to and support lean practices in all aspects of the role as the company moves toward a distinctive lean culture.

You must have at least 5 years of experience, including experience in oil and gas operations, ideally within land operations. Experience working with PRA/SAP is preferred and preferably a Bachelor's degree.

Suitable candidates will be a driven, autonomous, self-motivated safety professional who is passionate and hungry to succeed.

DevOps/Configuration Management Engineer

Location - Houston

Role - Permanent, DevOps/Configuration Manager

This is a really exciting role for someone who really enjoys innovation and also leading a team.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Defining requirements, functional specifications and testing documentation for engineering software applications.
  • Ensuring the technical softwqare development process is followed
  • Process improvement
  • Designing, coding and testing
  • Developing project plans functional specifications and schedules
  • Determiniing product needs and enhancements

What we are looking for:

* Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field or
equivalent technical professional work experience required.
* Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile ALM development methodologies.
* Minimum of 5 years experience in build/release engineering and configuration management experience on
Windows platforms. Linux experience is a plus
* Minimum of 5 years experience with TFS Build controller/agent set up and configuration, Jenkins server
configuration and build set up
* Ability to create build solutions .NET Framework including packaging and signing assemblies.
* Minimum of 5 years experience writing complex MSI based installations with installer tools: InstallShield,
Wix.
* Experience with package management and tools such as Nuget and Artifactory
* 3 years applied scripting experience in advanced scripting languages (eg. Python, Powershell, JSON,
JavaScript)
* Experience with managing VM Ware virtual environments and Azure cloud deployments.
* Working knowledge and experience managing multiple release pipelines with TFS release management.
* Must have PowerShell scripting experience and Bash / Perl scripting and the use of build scripts
* Proficiency with TFVC, and GIT source code control tools. Thorough understanding of branching, merging,
and labeling best practices.
* Administer, configure, manage, and implement changes to the TFS platform to support DevOPS and
Enhancement software lifecycles.
* Preference will be given to candidates with Docker and Kubernetes experience.

release of high-quality Business Intelligence solutions. They will conduct testing for application software changes and/or
new releases along with writing test cases, documenting test procedures and results, and maintaining valid test scenarios. The QA Specialist must be able to work closely with all resources, focused on a commitment to quality.

Top skills to be successful in this role are:
Previous experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist, creative approach when testing solutions, meticulous attention to detail, strong written and communication skills, be able to manage time and competing priorities, and be able to test with scripting tools and/or SQL.
