Primary purpose of job:


Lead Information Security projects and report regularly on their progress.
Coordinate and provide expert technical support by integrating Cyber & Information Security requirements into ICT projects, OT and Infrastructure projects, and review and validate the effective implementation of Cyber & Information Security requirements into project deliverables.
Contribute to cybersecurity testing activities to validate the implementation of Cyber & Information Security requirements.

Experience & Skills:


* 7 years of relevant professional experience in information security field.
* Experience with large ICS & ICT environments in the Energy sector, preferably in Oil & Gas.
* Knowledge of fundamental security principles and challenges in their practical application.
* Knowledge of PMP/PgMP body of knowledge (PMI, Prince etc.).
* Knowledge of relevant state laws, industry regulations, and security standards.
* Excellent English written and verbal business communication skills.

The Project Controls Coordinator (PCC) is responsible for development and implementation of project controls planning, integration of cost and schedule functions as well as quality control oversight of all project controls deliverable for Engineering and Construction capital projects. PCC: Assigned to projects of up to $25 MM/year with typically 1 year or less duration of routine to mid-level complexity. Senior PCC: Assigned to projects of up to $100 MM/year with typically 2 year or less duration of elevated complexity. Principal PCC: Assigned to projects of more than $100 MM/year with multiyear duration with an extreme level of complexity. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate development of overall Project Execution Plan. Participate in the development and maintenance of project controls deliverables including but limited to: o Cost Report and Cost Variance Analysis o Cash Flow Report and Variance Analysis o Schedule Report and Schedule Variance Analysis o Project Change Management Procedure o Project Controls Plan o Monthly Progress Report Integrating Cost Control and Scheduling functions into one seamless team. Defining Project Controls resource requirements for the project. Performing quality control on all project control deliverables for completeness and accuracy. Lead role in coordinating collection of deliverables for Phase Gate Review meetings according to the 6-Phase Project Lifecycle. Provide feedback and recommendations to project controls and project systems functional groups on actual experiences gained during implementation of new tools, processes or procedures. Basic/Minimum Qualifications: PCC Bachelor?s degree in engineering, in another technical discipline or industry PCC specific related experience with a minimum of four-seven years of experience. Senior PCC Bachelor?s degree in engineering, in another technical discipline or industry PCC specific related experience with a minimum of nine years of experience. Professional Engineer?s Registration (P.E.) and/or Project Management Professional credential (PMP) is preferred; Principal PCC Bachelor?s degree in engineering, in another technical discipline or industry PCC specific related experience with a minimum of twelve years of experience. Position Summary
The Cost Engineer will provide the Project leadership team with complete analytical support for cost reporting, forecasting, budget reconciliation and performance measures of the project.
Responsibilities

  • Provide project control support to the Project Leadership team which may include cost reporting, cost reconciliation, change management, project status reports and various other project related activities
  • Review cost estimates for all aspects of the project providing direction to external service providers as required to ensure complete and robust estimates in accordance with project cost coding and management requirements
  • Analyze financial information and recognize variances, trends, and irregularities and understand the causes/driver
  • Establish and execute controls to proactively support, monitor and communicate budgets, actuals and forecast
  • Recast Budgets as required during the execution phase of capital project for proper reporting
  • Report and analyze project progress using an earned value basis
  • Collect data, inputs, update and produce standard management reports, Actual vs. Budget and /or forecast
  • Create and customize project control tools/systems to meet specific project reporting requirements
  • Research unexpected items and resolve inaccuracies
  • Demonstrate attention to details with a focus on accuracy, completeness and meeting deadlines and commitments
  • Work with the Project Team to ensure that the timelines and/or objectives of the project are met
  • Ensure ongoing improvement through evaluation of current processes
  • Supports the consistency for reporting based on the established WBS Code of Accounts


Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
Related degree qualification an asset (Construction/Accounting/Finance/ Engineering)

  • 5 years of experience in a similar role of EPC TIC Cost Analyst on major capital projects ( $50 MM)
  • Proficient in extracting data into Excel and using graphs, formulas, pivot tables, etc. for reporting and trend analysis
  • Knowledge of commercial contracts, how to apply terms to selective material and subcontractor invoice auditing
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data for commitments, direct actuals and forecast cost to go
  • Ability to deal with technical and non-technical persons and explain technical concepts and analysis in simple terms
  • Ability to communicate with a range of people - both internally across all levels, and external stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build positive partnerships
  • Ability to multi-task, and manage multiple priorities in a high paced and change-constant environment
