This will be on a years contract basis.

Working 8 hours a dya 40 hours a week

The client is looking for experience in Detail Design and FEED experience

Looking for a Engineering Degree

And coming from an Oil and Gas Upstream Project background not Power.

Piping Materials Engineer

Petroplan are looking to recruit an excellent Piping Materials Engineer position to be based in Surrey for 6-9 months on a major Oil and Gas project.

This will be on an hourly rate.

Job Spec:

Piping Material Specification development including pipe design calculations and piping component selection is essential.

Under broad direction, interprets, organizes, executes, and coordinates assignments. Applies advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes for an assigned area of responsibility such as a function or product.

Job role contributes directly to value creation. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years related experience, with average experience of 20 years.

Candidates are required to have extensive experience working for an EPC contractor with a proven track record working on oil & gas projects

Senior Contracts Negotiator

Our client is a growing oil and gas exploration operator who is looking to expand their dynamic procurement team by bringing on an experienced Senior Contract Negotiator.
In the role of the Senior Contract Negotiator you will work closely within the procurement team to support the business' contractual requirements. Other jobs duties will include:

  • Coordinating with Legal, Tax, and Accounting to ensure that all contracts represent the companies financial and risk tolerance.
  • Facilitating contract compliance by insuring proper communication of requirements.
  • Providing general contractual/commercial advice to business team members.


Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have prior Oil and Gas exploration experience, as well as a Juris Doctorate Degree. Other useful requirements would be:

  • Previous knowledge of drilling, exploration, and production in contract negotiating
  • Must be knowledgeable of US onshore contracts
  • A minimum of 5 years' of experience with domestic contracts
  • Previous experience as a contract lead on major projects

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least five (5) years of contract negotiations' experience
  • Juris Doctor preferred
  • Ability to read, analyze and understand contracts
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented with ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access and Adobe
  • Knowledge of FileNET and Oracle Contracts' Module preferred
