Category Team Lead - Engineering & MRO

Key Accountabilities:

  • Accountable for Engineering and MRO service & materials contracts and call-offs
  • Leads a line-facing team focusing on day-to-day procurement transaction and delivery of services and materials
  • Implements common processes, to enable efficient and compliant procurement transactions
  • Establishes, identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities on procurement processes, policies and procedures
  • Deploys contractor safety management program, contractor oversight, schedule of responsibilities, and implements risk mitigation plans
  • Identifies Engineering and MRO risks (sector/supplier/contract) and develops and implements risk mitigation plans as part of sector strategies and sourcing
  • Develops and implements Engineering and MRO Category Management and Contracting Plans
  • Leads strategic sourcing of delegated categories
  • Leads Engineering and MRO Categories supplier performance management, including facilitation of Performance Review Meetings
  • Deliver robust cost management and minimize business risk through ensuring rigorous contract management controls

Essential Experience

  • Creates a working environment that recognises expertise, encourages high performance and entrepreneurial risk taking to land pragmatic solutions to complex business issues
  • Significant experience gained leading teams in a project environment in Engineering and MRO.
  • Managing significant spend typically up to $ 500 million per annum
  • Leading procurement strategy across international operations
  • Working across disciplines and cross-functional teams
  • Strong HSE management leadership skills Experience
  • Procurement & execution in complex international environments within the Oil or gas industry (e.g. major Projects, engineering, or construction, or production operations and support)
  • Engagement in complex negotiations with international suppliers
  • Experience of delivering to other time zones and cultural environments

Global Sustainability Manager - Houston

Petroplan is currently accepting applications to for a Global Sustainability Manager to join a market leading Oil Field service company located here in Houston, TX. This is a great opportunity that is direct hire. Prospective candidates will be responsible for developing, coordinating and overseeing implementation of several programs world wide.
Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with company executive management and senior leaders to influence, drive and optimize the company's Sustainable Development Guiding Principles by identifying opportunities across the organization for improving key ESG indicators.
  • Collaborate with leaders of functional groups (e.g. Human Resources, Investor Relations, Supply Chain, HSE Service Quality and Continuous Improvement, Business Development, Legal) to incorporate company sustainability goals into their operation and planning initiatives.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, Social Science, Supply Chain, Business Management or Finance.
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands on experience working with metrics, measurements, data collection, analysis, reporting etc.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US

Procurement Engineer

  • Experience in maintaining accurate master data(unit conversion, Purchase order and price unit, vendor item price and discount, manufacturer part number, vendor record and rating criteria, RFQ evaluation
  • Maintain various templates for LC request, competitive bidding, contracts and costing
  • Help in developing multiple vendors/sources for purchase needs
  • Engage with vendor with clearly defined scope and requirement in purchase order, PO life cycle event, order approval etc, maintain PO delivery dates in ERP.
  • Process Purchase requisition & RFQ with best vendor selection & recommendation, cost/budget performance, feedback & status monitoring.
  • Candidate must have very good communication skills.
  • Nationality - Any, except Indian
  • 3-5 years of Experience in similar position in Oil & Gas equipment manufacturing company(Wellhead & Valve)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
