Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of staff Including training, employee development, performance evaluation, hiring decisions, and the establishment of goals and performance objectives for assigned department.
  • Provide continual evaluation of department processes, methods, and activities to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment.
  • Manage budget and expenditures.
  • Work with team to support customer demand, forecasts, and corporate inventory targets.


Requirements:

  • 5 years of management experience
  • Software knowledge and experience with Oral and/or ERP systems
  • Ability to train other colleagues
  • APICS / CPIM Certifications or equivalent

Responsibilities:

  • Developing, managing and reporting Global Well Planning team scope.
  • Providing input to schedule risk analysis at various times along the delivery or execution timeline
  • Coordinating integrated schedules, deliverable's and key milestones across multiple teams or rig lines.


Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of detailed Primavera project scheduling
  • Understands Project planning principles, project controls, relationships and constraints with other functions and sites and activities
  • Previous / Current experience in Drilling and Completions activity
  • Scheduling Offshore work is a plus

Supply Chain Assistant

Petroplan are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Assistant for a major Oil and Gas client to be based in London on a contract basis.

Job Spec:

Reporting to C&P Manager the Supply Chain Assistant's main responsibilities will be to support the supply chain team based in the London.

The role will include support to Contracts & Procurement, Materials, Logistics & Customs and to Quality Assurance/Quality Control.


The Supply Chain Assistant is to be responsible for:


Maintenance of personnel trackers and service receipting of all contractors timesheets.
Liaison to support invoice queries in relation to contractor's services.
Procurement support - buyer role for certain aspects of procurement and generation of Work Order Requests (to include for logistical services, inspection activities and manpower).
Manage new supplier registration with London Compliance.
Update the Tender Board Register.
Maintain the onsite and offsite archive list to ensure document register maintained accurately.
Assist with house-keeping of procurement system.
Provide general administration support in relation to Invitations to Tender.
Support Buyers and Logistics with the expediting of orders. Ensure vendors submit weekly reports on order status and assist Logistics with updating of the main register. Distribute the monthly overdue orders report and assist with securing updates and closure of orders.
Assist Buyers with the closing of OSDs with suppliers.
Review vendor/manufacturer supplied Inspection & Test Plans after the addition of comments to identify where there is a requirement for attendance by Third Party Inspection.

Prospective candidates will be responsible for assuring that the current operations are in compliance with the ConocoPhillips Asset Control Policy. This is accomplished by creating and maintaining functional locations and equipment in SAP-PM, coordinating and performing audits and conducting analysis of facility & equipment cost after project completion, to assure records are correct and reconciled.
Job Duties:

  • Maintaining Asset Registry in SAP -PM
  • Coordinate and reconcile annual physical audits of assets.
  • Processing Financial Transfers to ensure financial movement for equipment is properly reflected for new and used equipment
  • Generating quality check reports of data to ensure Asset registry meets business requirements and reconcile as needed
  • Collaborate with several departments


Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience as an Asset Technician
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Supply Chain) or Engineering
  • Must be local to Denver, CO
  • Experience with SAP PM is a requirement

Duties:

  • Identify and select primary and secondary suppliers.
  • Complete requests for quotes and negotiate procurement contracts.
  • Issue purchase orders and expedite orders.
  • Coordinate contract agreements
  • Verify the purchase orders and keep PO status up to date.


Requirements:

  • 2 plus years of experience as a Buyer
  • Manufacturing and/or Oil & Gas experience is a must
  • Ability to read basic engineering drawings / bill of materials / material specifications
  • Understanding of standard quality requirements and how they relate to the purchase order.

This will be on a equal rotation basis and to be based in Hassi Messaoud.

Firm requirements:

  • Is fluent in French and English (both spoken and written).
  • Possesses relevant tertiary education qualification (e.g. university degree, UK CIPS, UK IACCM, UK RICS or equivalents).
  • Possesses strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  • 5 years of experience in the contracting/ procurement process and contract drafting.
  • A logical & analytical person who enjoys and rises to new challenges.
  • A confident decision maker who is able to plan & implement workload with minimal supervision, under pressure, to meet deadlines.
  • Computer literate in MS Word and Outlook (or equivalents) and conversant with the use of Excel & PowerPoint (or equivalent) applications.
  • Displays the ability to work well with alternates (rotation partners) to present a seamless customer-facing position.
  • Is meticulous and thorough in his/her work.
  • Has good understanding of gas or oil exploration & production.
  • Leads by example - particularly in terms of work habits, HSE & ethics.
  • Strongly self-motivated.

Desirable Skills/ Experiences:

  • Experience of working or living in countries abroad.
  • Direct experience with an "operator" company in the oil and gas "upstream".
  • Relevant tertiary education qualification in a commercial/ business subject.
  • Fluent/ competent in Arabic (spoken and written).
