Petroplan is currently accepting applications to join a well know and market leading Oil Field Service company. Prospective candidates will be supporting the Planning Group. This position is DIRECT HIRE and located in Houston, TX.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of staff Including training, employee development, performance evaluation, hiring decisions, and the establishment of goals and performance objectives for assigned department.
  • Provide continual evaluation of department processes, methods, and activities to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment.
  • Manage budget and expenditures.
  • Work with team to support customer demand, forecasts, and corporate inventory targets.


Requirements:

  • 5 years of management experience
  • Software knowledge and experience with Oral and/or ERP systems
  • Ability to train other colleagues
  • APICS / CPIM Certifications or equivalent

Currently accepting applications for a Planner III to join a market leading Oil & Gas company. This position is a year long contract and located in Houston, TX.
Responsibilities:

  • Developing, managing and reporting Global Well Planning team scope.
  • Providing input to schedule risk analysis at various times along the delivery or execution timeline
  • Coordinating integrated schedules, deliverable's and key milestones across multiple teams or rig lines.


Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of detailed Primavera project scheduling
  • Understands Project planning principles, project controls, relationships and constraints with other functions and sites and activities
  • Previous / Current experience in Drilling and Completions activity
  • Scheduling Offshore work is a plus

Sr. Contracts Negotiator

Petroplan is currently accepting resumes for a Sr. Contracts Negotiator to join a market leading Oil Field Service company in Houston, TX. Prospective candidates must poses knowledge of Oil & Gas industry and specialized knowledge (i.e. pipeline construction, onshore rigs, offshore rigs etc.). Also, knowledge of Texas laws and Anti-Indemnity statues.
Duties:
  • Supports Company's businesses operations.
  • Directs and leads negotiations with complex contracts.
  • Provides routine and more complex contractual advice to business team members.
  • Maintains current knowledge of domestic and international laws, political environments, cultures and regulations.
  • Acts as a Contracts' lead on major projects and initiatives.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in either Supply Chain Management or similar
  • 5 plus years of experience
  • Juris Doctor is a plus
  • Knowledge of FileNET and Oracle Contracts' Module

Petroplan is currently accepting resumes to join a great Oil Field Service company in need of a Buyer. This position is contract to hire and located in Houston, TX. Prospective candidates must have previous or current experience within Purchasing and within the Manufacturing world.
Duties:

  • Identify and select primary and secondary suppliers.
  • Complete requests for quotes and negotiate procurement contracts.
  • Issue purchase orders and expedite orders.
  • Coordinate contract agreements
  • Verify the purchase orders and keep PO status up to date.


Requirements:

  • 2 plus years of experience as a Buyer
  • Manufacturing and/or Oil & Gas experience is a must
  • Ability to read basic engineering drawings / bill of materials / material specifications
  • Understanding of standard quality requirements and how they relate to the purchase order.
  • Familiar with Oracle (or similar ERP System) and Excel.
