  • Minimum 1000 days of sailing as Master in pipe laying vessels.
  • Should have experience of handling Heavy Lifting and pipe lay vessel.
  • Candidate should hold unlimited master COC
  • Immediately available to join.



Qualification

  • Seaman's book with main page reflecting the applied rank sea service and last 5 years record including sign on/off dates and ships stamps.
  • Seaman's seagoing service record book including sign on/off dates and ships stamps - Only for Ukrainian.
  • COC, COC's verification.
  • STCW-2010 certificates.
  • Valid medical certificate.
  • English marlin test for Non-English speakers (minimum 80% of all test categories). Accepted only certificates from approved marlin test centers.
  • Passport - personal data page only.
  • DP logbook including sign on/off dates and ships stamps.
  • Unlimited DP certificate (Only for DP operators).
  • T-BOSIET - OPITO approved.
  • H2S - OPITO approved.
  • Previous Aramco approvals if available.

Installation / Field Development & Technical Tenders Engineer

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE
My client is looking for an Installation / Field Development (FD) & Technical Tenders Engineer to work in the Pipeline Group based out of their London office. The role covers the installation engineering support to be provided to Field Development groups and country pursuit teams as part of their early engagement strategy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering fit for purpose rigid pipeline installation engineering work on Field Development studies and FEEDs related to S&J or Reel pipe laying operations with specific focus on safe and cost-effective installation solutions. This role will report in to the Installation Engineering Field Development Lead - Pipeline Group.
SPECIFIC KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Overall Responsibilities:

  • Deliver installation engineering deliverables for studies / FEEDs
  • Performs early installation engineering checks to support requests from Country pursuit teams using installation tools and benchmarks (e.g. preliminary feasibility assessment, preliminary time estimate, competition screening)
  • Ensures quality of installation engineering deliverables on FEEDs / studies and aligned with latest technical positions on key subject matters
  • Proposes innovative solutions allowing cost & risks reduction
  • Proactively highlight complex issues to Installation Engineering Field Development & Pursuit Lead
  • Use Pipeline Group norms and benchmarks on studies and FEEDs
  • Support interfaces with internal clients
  • Support as required Business Improvement studies, Technical Developments Activities and complex tenders
  • Participates actively to the Installation Engineering and Tendering departments know-how consolidation

Construction Team Lead

Petroplan are supporting a client on a Project to build a new Integrated Production, Drilling, Utilities and Quarters Offshore platform to be installed in the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan. This role is specifically focused on leading fabrication of the Jacket structure which will be installed on the sea-bed to supports the Topsides facilities above sea-level.
The project is currently in Define phase and is planned to enter Execute during 1Q19.
The Construction Team Leader will be responsible for the overall construction delivery for the Jacket, with specific emphasis as follows;
Health, Safety & Environment

  • Demonstrate excellent personal HSSE leadership and HSE behaviours. Lead, by example, with regards to HSE policies.
  • During Execute phase, implement HSE standards through self-verification and oversight activities across the fabrication facility, ensuring investigation and follow-up where required.



People Management

  • Promotes team work, integration and co-operation at all levels, across all project entities to ensure effective and efficient delivery.
  • Supports capability training and talent development within the team.
  • Manages employee performance through annual objectives and reviews.



Construction Execution Management

  • Ensures safe, compliant, reliable and efficient construction delivery of the Jacket.
  • Ensures Fabrication Contractor site work processes and procedures are fully implemented to underpin effective construction ramp-up and execution.
  • Manages construction performance from start through to final acceptance, including all Mechanical Completion Handover processes.
  • Development and maintenance of construction schedules in conjunction with Fabrication Contractor. Drives value through effective construction prioritization and planning (weekly), and through compliance with MPcP and Construction Practice.
  • Manages interface with Fabrication Contractor to ensure thorough reporting and analysis of performance data provided. Anticipate and identify adverse trends/events throughout the fabrication cycle and work with the relevant parties to agree performance / improvement steps to achieve safe and on-time execution.
  • Drives construction risk identification and management and owns construction risk action plans.
  • Ensures readiness reviews are conducted prior to defined construction activities.



Modernisation and Transformation

  • Supports the development and implementation of project modernisation and transformation solutions across the project construction discipline.



Education

  • Must be degree qualified


During 2018, the role will be primarily office-based in Baku (Azerbaijan) with business visits anticipated to the Project Design Office in Leatherhead (UK).

At the start of Execute phase (est. 1Q19), the role will be based at the selected fabrication facility in Baku (Azerbaijan).

The role will report to the ACE Project Construction Manager (PCM) with a daily interface to the Jacket Delivery Manager.
