Job role
* Be responsible globally to develop and implement some Company
Strategies for Strategic Products Categories.
* Be responsible to supervise and coordinate all Procurement Tendering
activities to support Tenders managed from Greece.
* Supervise and coordinate a team of Procurement Engineers, Category
Leads and Technical Expert based globally.
* Re-assess continuously task plan and priorities as well as maintaining a
continuous motivation in the team.
* Strive to achieve Procedural integrity on activity under his control.


Responsibilities for Tendering:
* Closely coordinate and align with the Procurement Director for critical
activity such as definition of the Procurement strategy, coordination
with other regions for the resource, interface with other Dept,
negotiation strategy.
* Coordinate with all relevant in-house departments to ensure all
requirements are included in the bidding documents issued during the
Tender process (ITB, CS, Procurement Summary).
* Ensure a Tender Procurement Plan is developed systematically and up to
date.
* Ensure to achieve cost optimization through better knowledge and
pricing from the supplier market,
* Always think to ensure a proper balance between cost optimization and
mitigation of risks during execution.
* Ensure the team stick to the Tender schedule and focus on principle
targets such as price and deliverable.

Experience:
* Overall 10 years' experience in work related field including 5 years' as
Procurement Manager at Department or Corporate level.
* Previous experience in EPC Marine Construction and/or Oil & Gas
Complex projects.
* A demonstrable experience equivalent to minimum 5 years managing
Category Management, Frame Agreement and contract management
* Proven experience with Supplier Market in Middle East or/and North
Africa.

Materials & Inventory Managament Technician

Our client, a leading Oil & Gas owner/operator is looking to add a Materials Management & Inventory Technician to their team for a long term contract (expected duration of 2 years).

Job Overview

This position will report into the Doc Management/Inventory Control Manager here in Calgary but will required extensive travel to the Edson, Grande Prairie and Rainbow Lake areas. The individual has to be comfortable with a rotation that requires 80% or more travel.

The schedule for this role is tentatively 7 on, 7 off, Location Allowance will be provided for travel done outside of the standard home location.

This role will require clear communication and strong collaboration with Maintenance, Operational staff, Project teams, and Asset Retirement to name a few.

Key Responsibilities:

* Complete a full equipment inventory audit for Western Canada
* Frequent field visits capturing equipment information and location
* Validate current information within SAP (SEIM)
* Capture details on any missing equipment
* Lead the cleansing of master data from Standard development
* Data mining job books, MDR's
* Gather additional information based off inventory needs
* Other tasks to support the business as required

Key Requirements:

* 10 years of operational and or/technical background within Oil and Gas Materials Management
* Knowledge and understanding of asset classes, characteristics and processes
* SAP Plant Maintenance proficiency in relation to equipment inventory
* A valid class 5 Drivers License and a clean drivers abstract
* Safety tickets such as First Aid, H2S Alive, confined spaces are highly desirable.
* An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
* Legible handwriting
* Proficiency within Microsoft office
* Post-secondary education in a related field would be an asset

The purpose of this position is to deliver effective SCM approaches through effective contracting for well engineering and some associated exploration activities.

This shall include a cradle to grave approach from tendering, contract execution and post award contract management facilitation.

General

Capable of demand planning and open sharing of prospective workloads.

- Ability to work sensibly.

- Prepare tender approval documents and tender packages.

- Conduct tenders in a professional manner including capability of material contract exceptions closure.

- Ensure stakeholder alignment including liaison, through Local Content Personnel and Legal, for regulatory alignment.

- Capable of understanding sourcing processes control including compliance and governance

Deliverables

- Procurement of well tangibles.

- Procurement of civils design and construction contracts.

- Procurement of various well engineering services.

- Management of C&P systems to manage all purchase orders, tenders and contracts.

- Delivering innovative and cost effective contracting philosophies that will mitigate risks.

- Articulate dispute management in a manner consistent with the company requirements and professional practice.

- SHE is paramount - practice and manage it.

- Promote and apply post contract management with inception of KPI's.

- Minimise maverick spend and educate personnel on the implications of such practice.

- Managing market intelligence to take advantage of the prevailing opportunities in the marketplace.

- Mentor and coach, where necessary.

- To work collaboratively.

- Assis in managing business performance in post award management.

Sr Contract Engineer

Senior Contracts Engineer

  • Develop the required Contracts by Company from initial phases up to award and signing of the Contracts by the parties.
  • Administers all the applicable Contracts (FEED, EPC, PMC and other Contracts) for the Project. Supervises and guides the Project Management Consultants engaged by Company in handling the contractual and commercial matters of the Project.
  • Acquires full knowledge and understanding of Company's policies, procedures and delegation of authorities, Contracts terms and conditions and liaises with the Company lawyers, as required.
  • Ensures that the relevant local and international regulations are followed by all the Contractors and Vendors.
  • Prevents and mitigates potential Contractor claims. Develops and implements work processes and procedures to address the risks posed by Contractor claims. Assures the timely involvement of all the discipline staff of the Project and Company lawyer and other relevant staff during the project execution and claims handling as required.
  • Seeks management guidelines in conducting duties and supports Contracts and Procurement Manager on all contractual and commercial issues to protect Company's interests.
  • Be in a state of readiness for any internal and external audit Programs Company may initiate at any stage of the Project.
  • Review the Project Procedures relevant to Contract development and administration function (e.g. Tender clarification, Variation Order etc. procedures). Follow up with Contractor until procedures are compliant with Project Requirements and are approved for use on the Project.
  • Obtain prior financial approvals for all commitments as required under the approved Financial Delegation of Authority.
  • Highlight any matters that will adversely affect the cost and schedule of the Project programme.
  • Liaise closely with the Company management at all stages on all aspects of procedures and activities to ensure that Company obligations and requirements are satisfactorily met on a continuing basis.
  • Interface between all stakeholders including Company Worldwide Departments to ensure that the Project needs are met in a correct and timely manner.

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 -10 years of related experience, working for Contractors or Owner Organization in the Contract Development and Administration function.
  • Must have worked in the Contract Administration Function on at least one major Oil & Gas Project preferably executed on a Lump Sum basis.
  • Interfaces skilfully and with all concerned including internal and external personnel dealing directly or indirectly with the Project
