Prospective candidates will be responsible for providing corrosion engineering support of pipelines, treatment facilities and other assets related to upstream production.
Requirements:
  • 8 years of experience working within Upstream or Downstream Oil & Gas facilities or pipelines
  • 8 years of experience corrosion monitoring, performing evaluations and failure analysis, and finally, designing corrosion management plans
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials is preferred)
  • Technical experience within materials selection, failure investigation, corrosion mechanisms, RBA/RBI etc.
  • NACE Certifications

Education Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:
At least 12 years' experience in the oil refining industry.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in same role or senior panel operator role or supervisory role in an oil refinery within the Petrochemical industry. Knowledge of the Refining process and plant equipment.
Experience in supporting the installation of at least one SAP system for maintenance management on behalf of the Operations team.

Requirements:

  • One year of experience in the application or inspection of coating and either NACE CIP level 1 certification or SSPC PC1 level 1 certification
  • Demonstrated experience in the application of multiple coating systems

Petroplan is currently accepting applications for a Utility Inspector to join a fantastic and market leading, global, company located in Pennsylvania area. Prospective candidates will be working on a multi billion dollar Natural Gas Pipeline project. Prospective candidates must have a good understanding in the interpretation of construction contracts including drawings, specifications, codes, standards and related agency and industry regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated qualifications in construction of steel pipelines and related services.
  • Weld Inspector Certification CSA Level 1 with 2 years of welding experience
  • Alternatively, 5 years of related pipe and competent weld inspection
  • Ability to work within the US
