Petroplan are looking to recruit an excellent Permanent staff Operations Leader to work for a major Oil and Gas client in Kent.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

University degree or equivalent in a technical field

  • Have strong communication skills and be a logical thinker.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Ability to identify issues for resolution and new directional plans for business improvement
  • Bias for Continuous improvement through People/CR/Safety Legislation and Safety awareness/knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Incident and Emergency Response.
  • Engineering awareness.
  • Ability to develop potentials/opportunities in People, Business, Customers and Markets Suppliers.
  • Bias for Action and continuous improvement in all areas of performance.
  • Proven ability to prioritise resources and time to deliver the greatest value for the business.
  • To be able to manage competing priorities and operational complexity
  • Track record in leading successful operational teams
  • Strong awareness of the procedures to be used for accident and incident root cause analysis techniques, reporting and investigation.
  • Ability to engage and work with operations, stakeholders contractors and suppliers.

CMMS Engineer

Petroplan are looking to recruit a CMMS Engineer who can be based in 1 of three sites, either in Southampton, Kent or Hemel Hampstead.

This will be a permanent staff role with all the benefits and bonuses of working for a large Oil and Gas company.

Job Spec:

  • Establish a network of Terminal based CMMS super-users who are able to drive the effective use of CMMS at a local level and provide subject related matter expertise to the Terminal Operations personnel.
  • Act as point of contact for escalated CMMS related issues and provide Terminal Storage Operations Managers and Engineering Teams with technical guidance in matters of CMMS utilisation and compliance.
  • Develop effective maintenance programs by leading Terminal based Reliability Centred Maintenance studies ensuring that they meet regulatory and mandated requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or qualifications, demonstrated experience and training to an equivalent level.
  • Chartered/Incorporated Engineer, or working towards chartered or incorporated status, with a recognised professional body.
  • IT Skills Certification particularly in MS Applications.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Trained and experienced with Control of Work and Permit to Work systems, confined space entry and working at height.
  • Significant and demonstrable experience with CMMS ideally in Frontline, Maximo or SAP PM
  • Excellent knowledge of the equipment processes and standards employed in the oil storage and distribution sector.
  • Thorough understanding of industry related risks (safety and business) and able to relate to specific legislation.
  • Thorough grasp of principals and application of Maintenance / Asset Management techniques such as RCM, CBM, RBM and FMECA.
  • Significant and demonstrable experience with CMMS ideally in Frontline, Maximo or SAP PM
  • HAZOP / LOPA / Risk Assessment and Root Cause Analysis
  • Strong IT skills.

Our client, a Specialty Fuels & Lubricant Company, are currently looking to hire an experienced Senior Process Analyst to join an expanding team. The company manufactures fuels and lubricants around the world. The position requires someone to administer the stock keeping unit (SKU) and product data within the system change request for the client in order to ensure compliance with data integrity standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support & process expertise to users.
  • Provide support to the wider product lifecycle management projects.
  • Help supply chain with initiating complex source changes

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in Science/ Marketing/ Project Management discipline or equivalent experience.
