Key Responsibilities

  • As a key member of the leadership team, develop and execute the plant specific strategic vision and annual business plan for reliability and maintainability
  • The maintenance manager will be tasked with directing and inspiring a strong team of maintenance resources and will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of contractual resources when needed.
  • Develop and maintain an exceptional health, safety and environmental performance record
  • Provide leadership to the maintenance organization, including contractors, ensuring positive action and accountability
  • Establish a reliability-centric culture designed to meet plant asset utilization targets
  • Develop and manage the department's operational expenses budget
  • Develop a culture of high performance through employee engagement and continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement a structured predictive and preventive maintenance program
  • Instill a root cause and corrective action mentality when dealing with equipment failures
  • Develop and implement a spare parts program, including control and management of critical spares
  • Support implementation of a pressure equipment integrity management system
  • Develop and implement a training program for the maintenance team
  • Implement metrics and measurements to effectively evaluate mechanical performance
  • Oversee small and medium size project implementation


Skills Required

  • 15 years of progressive manufacturing plant maintenance experience with at least 7 years of supervisory, management or leadership experience required
  • APEGA Mechanical or Chemical engineering degree considered an asset
  • Equivalent trade or ASET certification and experience will be considered
  • Strong background from working in either Petrochemicals / Pulp & Paper or a Refinery
  • Clear and deep understanding of maintenance best practices is essential
  • Demonstrated project management experience and successful completion of projects
  • Experience with maintenance inspections and maintenance strategy standards required
  • Eligible to work and live in Canada - No Sponsorship

Senior Contracts Engineer

  • Develop the required Contracts by Company from initial phases up to award and signing of the Contracts by the parties.
  • Administers all the applicable Contracts (FEED, EPC, PMC and other Contracts) for the Project. Supervises and guides the Project Management Consultants engaged by Company in handling the contractual and commercial matters of the Project.
  • Acquires full knowledge and understanding of Company's policies, procedures and delegation of authorities, Contracts terms and conditions and liaises with the Company lawyers, as required.
  • Ensures that the relevant local and international regulations are followed by all the Contractors and Vendors.
  • Prevents and mitigates potential Contractor claims. Develops and implements work processes and procedures to address the risks posed by Contractor claims. Assures the timely involvement of all the discipline staff of the Project and Company lawyer and other relevant staff during the project execution and claims handling as required.
  • Seeks management guidelines in conducting duties and supports Contracts and Procurement Manager on all contractual and commercial issues to protect Company's interests.
  • Be in a state of readiness for any internal and external audit Programs Company may initiate at any stage of the Project.
  • Review the Project Procedures relevant to Contract development and administration function (e.g. Tender clarification, Variation Order etc. procedures). Follow up with Contractor until procedures are compliant with Project Requirements and are approved for use on the Project.
  • Obtain prior financial approvals for all commitments as required under the approved Financial Delegation of Authority.
  • Highlight any matters that will adversely affect the cost and schedule of the Project programme.
  • Liaise closely with the Company management at all stages on all aspects of procedures and activities to ensure that Company obligations and requirements are satisfactorily met on a continuing basis.
  • Interface between all stakeholders including Company Worldwide Departments to ensure that the Project needs are met in a correct and timely manner.

  1. Typically requires a minimum of 8 -10 years of related experience, working for Contractors or Owner Organization in the Contract Development and Administration function.
  2. Must have worked in the Contract Administration Function on at least one major Oil & Gas Project preferably executed on a Lump Sum basis.
  3. Interfaces skilfully and with all concerned including internal and external personnel dealing directly or indirectly with the Project

This role is responsible for providing subject matter expertise to ensure compliance with export regulations applicable to the international procurement and shipment of materials.

Our client, a leading Operator with Ownership of a Multi-Billion Dollar LNG Project, are currently seeking an experienced Process Engineer with a background in the Design and Operations of large scale LNG projects. This position is an immediate need and will be based in London.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all corporate standards and Project HSSE requirements are adhered to and implemented.
  • Ensure HSE is emphasized throughout all OSBL design activities. Play an active role in the development of the safety culture on the project, making safety a natural part of all work performed.
  • Ensure execution of all OSBL design aspects of the assigned project(s) in accordance with project standards and guidelines, procedures, Quality Program, project plans and contractual obligations.
  • Participate in project risk, process, constructability, commissioning, start-up, HAZID / HAZOP and other safety reviews as required.
  • Ensure Contractor is progressing in line with Company expectation and established execution plan.
  • Oversight and coordination of Contractor Planning and execution activities.

  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of ten (10) or more years' design and operational experience in the LNG industry with emphasis on the Design and Operation of LNG Facilities. Specific experience and expertise in the following is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years prior experience working as an Engineer (ideally Project/ Process /Mechanical) in an operating LNG and/or gas processing facility. A min of 2 years must be from an operating LNG facility. * Must have experience working in the commissioning of an LNG facility.
  • Experience in the liaising and working both within the design and operational facility environment. * Knowledge of and ability to use simulation/modelling preferred.
  • Proven track record holding similar position within other operational LNG facilities.
  • Strong experience in LNG operational procedure review.
  • Must have demonstrated experience working within a value assurance frame work and detailed knowledge of the application of Process safety in an operation.
  • Familiarity with Oil and Gas industry best in class specifications and practices. * Experience in working in a project team of engineers.

Our client, a leading Operator with Ownership of a Multi-Billion Dollar LNG Project, are currently seeking an experienced Process Engineer with a background in the Design and Operations of large scale LNG projects. This position is an immediate need and will be on a 28 / 28 rotation pattern in Eastern Africa.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible Engineer that develops, coordinates, and conducts reviews of engineering work outlined herein according to a set engineering design criteria utilizing approved engineering procedures and practices.
  • Coordinates the detailed design development of the process system unit(s) with other engineering disciplines while managing workload and meeting schedule due dates.
  • Strictly follows the Management of Change procedure to ensure the integrity of the HAZOP.
  • Responsible for the following deliverables: Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs) * Line Designation Tables development - line lists with process and mechanical design conditions captured Hydraulics calculations - for pumps, compressors, blowers, control valves, and line sizing * Design Pressure and Temperature Diagrams development - analyzing and determining piping systems design conditions.
  • Develop specifications for Piping Specialty Items and Relief Valves - define a set of conditions for vendors to use to design engineered items * Perform engineering calculations in specialized engineering hydraulic programs such as Flarenet, Pipeflo, PIPENET, AFT Fathom, VMGSim, etc.
  • HAZOP execution - actively participate in the Hazard and Operability review of responsible process systems and resolve HAZOP actions assigned.
  • Familiarity with 3D model software such as SmartPlant Review or PDSView in order to review the physical design of a plant and/or drive the client attended model review.
  • 3D Model Review execution - organizing and leading a review of the physical design of process systems
  • Vendor Print Review execution - commenting on deviations from a set of technical design criteria provided to a vendor.

Job Overview:
Under general supervision, the HSE Specialist solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices. He/She uses experience and problem solving skills to develop and improve processes. May provide guidance to less experienced team members.
Has technical responsibility for interpreting complex requirements, evaluating and applying appropriate safety engineering principles, and formulating scopes of work, plans, and methodologies suitable for achieving and maintaining compliance with safety requirements. Provides technical assistance to other safety professionals assigned to projects and other project functions.


Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Implements health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines for the employee and department/site safety.
  • Creates incident reports and performs inspections to ensure conformity in all areas of HSE.
  • Interacts with services personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to research and interpret standards, codes and regulations.
  • Determines prerequisite for and organizes audits of company operated properties.

  • Participate in the bidding process and the selection of all Contractors and Sub-Contractors required for the completion of the construction aspects of the Project.
  • Manage all aspects of Construction Management within the Project, including Responsible Care & Quality, staffing, budgets, schedules, changes to scope of supply, pre-commissioning, and turnover to commissioning & start up.
  • Review and approve all site construction project specifications and technical standards. Ensuring fulfillment of the approved policies, procedures and standards that will regulate the construction activities of the Project.
  • Work closely with the EPC Construction Management Team on all necessary construction details, procedures, schedules, and resources as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the major EPC contractor and Engineering Consultants.

  • Minimum 15 years within the Petrochemical or related Industry.
  • Must have construction management experience, as well as management experience within operating plants.
  • A strong technical background in plant operations is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of the Responsible Care and Quality concepts.
  • Excellent computer skills.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Understands client technical needs to generate proposals
* Maintain documentation for purchase orders and technical specifications
* Negotiate with both customers and suppliers to provide customers with the best quotation whilst retaining company profitability
* Work with our external sales team to close out orders through customer engagement
* Performs other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have:

* Inside Sales background in Oil and Gas is preferred
* Outgoing personality

* Strong Excel skills; experience with SAP is a plus

Operations Manager

Our client, an emerging Operator within the Oil & Gas Industry, has a requirement for an experienced Operations Manager with a focus on Downstream / LNG Projects.
The role will be initially based in Houston, TX however require frequent visits to Project Sites both domestically and internationally.


Job Overview
This role will be an integral part of the Snr Leadership Team and will be at the forefront of the development and execution of a Major Petro-Chemical facility.
The Operations manager develops, implement, administers and maintains operations best practices and procedures according to company guidelines. This position partners with multiple functions such as E&C, finance modelling, permitting, safety, corporate IT to perform technical reviews, provide philosophies.


Roles/Responsibilities

  • Manage vendors and contractors to assure value delivery of contracted services and to develop solutions to complex business problems.
  • Management of Operations experience, with directly related and demonstrated supervisory experience in LNG or other similar or compatible gas processing facilities.


Experience / Education

  • Recognized Engineering qualification (Degree preferred), with extensive project operations skills
  • Minimum of 10 x years experience within the energy / oil & gas industry
  • Minimum of 10 x years experience within LNG / Gas Processing Operations
  • Strong business, technical and project management skills to conceptualize, recommend, design, and implement operations solutions in a timely manner. Proficient in project management tools, methodologies, and technical platforms.
  • Understanding LNG or Oil and Gas business operations and processes: terminal operations, maintenance management, procurement and logistics, field activities, energy market activities, pipeline operations, financial services, human resources, measurement collecting.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience on distributed control and logic systems, SIS, ESD, Gas and fire detection system
