Job Purpose


Responsible for high value commercial activities including the tendering procedures, change management, contract preparation, negotiation of terms and conditions and provide practical commercial solutions to any claims or disputes. Advise user departments in relation to contract process management to ensure all commercial activities are carried out in line with the company contracting guidelines. Job Requirements

  • Drilling contracts experience essential
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree required; Law Degree preferred.
  • Ideally with a post-graduate qualification in Contract Management or in a complementary area.
  • 10 years' contracts experience in oil and gas operations or similar industries.
  • Extensive experience in the preparation and negotiation of tenders/contracts of small/medium/large scale projects with complexity and diversity.

The role will be initially based in Houston, TX however require frequent visits to Project Sites both domestically and internationally.


Job Overview
This role will be an integral part of the Snr Leadership Team and will be at the forefront of the development and execution of a Major Petro-Chemical facility.
The Operations manager develops, implement, administers and maintains operations best practices and procedures according to company guidelines. This position partners with multiple functions such as E&C, finance modelling, permitting, safety, corporate IT to perform technical reviews, provide philosophies.


Roles/Responsibilities

  • Manage vendors and contractors to assure value delivery of contracted services and to develop solutions to complex business problems.
  • Management of Operations experience, with directly related and demonstrated supervisory experience in LNG or other similar or compatible gas processing facilities.


Experience / Education

  • Recognized Engineering qualification (Degree preferred), with extensive project operations skills

Provides regulatory expertise to strategize and maximize company position within safety, health, and environmental economic programs and interact with regulatory officials. HSE Director Responsibilities:

  • Develop HSE strategies and mitigation plans which are consistent with business performance, regulatory requirements and reliability.
  • Assess the safety culture and develops strategies to monitor and continuously improve the overall HSE culture. Drives HSE strategy, continuous improvement initiative and HSE culture that aligns with in HSE practices in the business.

HSE Director Qualifications:

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in HSE, Engineering, Industrial Safety or related HSE discipline
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification is highly preferred
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience with safety and environmental programs in a chemical, refinery, water treatment facility.
  • Must be familiar with Federal, State and local regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills are required.
  • Requires a high degree of professionalism.
  • Requires the ability to work well independently and effectively with others, on a daily basis.
  • Must be detailed oriented and able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
  • Must be able to develop innovative and creative ways to drive the HSE culture throughout the business while maintaining high levels of compliance.
  • Prior experience as the Senior HSE manager involving multiple sites preferred
  • Highly proficient in the development of strategies, objectives and plans to achieve short and long term objectives for the department
  • Experience with compliance programs for the OSHA industry, construction and PSM standards.
  • Experience with multimedia permitting: air, water, stormwater and solid waste

Commercial Project Manager - Nigeria - Oil & Gas - Owner / Operator - Long Term Contract

Our client, a market leading Owner / Operator, are currently seeking a Commercial Project Manager to join them on a long term contract basis in Nigeria. This role, will ensure the efficient Commercial delivery of a new Gas Processing Facility in Nigeria, in which our client plan to build and operator. We are seeking a candidate with a strong Gas project background with Reduction of Flared Gas experience.

Responsibilities:

  • To negotiate all major contracts (gas sale and purchase agreement, liquid/LPG sale and purchase agreements, gas interconnection agreement, etc);
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, at all levels, from local communities to regional heads of development institutions (World Bank etc.);
  • Together with the technical team, support the development of the project specification, Development plan, conceptual/basic engineering, FEED and detail design;
  • Together with the Technical Team, coordinate with all international and local Statutory & Regulatory authorities and related third parties to ensure that requirements are complied with and incorporated into the ongoing project development;
  • Establish a staffing plan for all phases and locations maximising local content (engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning);
  • Work together with the technical team, establish a comprehensive trailing and forward-looking project control infrastructure (KPIs, reporting systems, organisation structure), Budget forecast, Cost estimate, Documentation, project procedures and reporting;
  • In conjunction with corporate departments establish contract strategy, implement with contract award monitoring and control of same;
  • Together with technical teams, establish the operating structure organigram, recruit and staff the organisation;
  • In conjunction with corporate departments implement all legal requirements and strategies required for commercial, financial agreements and control thereof;
  • Establish an interface and risk register defining mitigations where required;
  • Ensure within Company that effective and timely reporting is maintained with a factual non-political bias;
  • With the support of the corporate origination function, develop new similar flare gas processing opportunities in Nigeria and other neighbouring countries.

Experience:

  • A minimum 15 years of directly related experience within the Oil & Gas experience.
  • Experience in Western African countries, in particular Nigeria, would be of advantage.
  • Degree qualification in Engineering or Economics.

MAJOR FUNCTIONS

Facilities Engineer

We are looking for a facilities engineer to be responsible for leading and strategic planning of the following key projects:

  1. All flowline network modelling including GAP, PIPEFLOW analysis and planning for flowline "jumpovers" with existing wells and/or expansion of the GC manifolds.
  2. Urbanization Planning for the project (all reservoirs and exploration)
  3. Efficient development of multi-well pads and facilities corridors.
  4. Coordination of hooking up to all new wells, validating communication connections
  5. Surface planning for first pilot dumpflood or HW injection with source well and temp s. injection facilities on time

Key Skill Sets

Strong and proven experience in network modelling, s. hydraulic balancing, multi-phase flow predictions and flowline planning. The facilities engineer will be very strong in connecting PROSPER Models with GAP analysis to model and balance existing and plan for new flowlines, design for pipeline corridors and debottlenecking of GC and header systems. Also, be able to quickly assess surface facilities bottlenecks and recommend efficient/economic engineered solutions.

Planning and design of integrated surface facilities for growth projects including multi-well pads, facilities corridors, surface WI facilities and future GCs. Experience in multi-well pads and development of creative pad solutions in soft soil, high water table areas will be a requirement.

Must be a leader in project planning and daily engagement of full cross-functional team members in planning of strategic projects. Gantt Chart planning of all work flows, analysis and planning forward will be a requirement of this position.

In addition to the technical skillset requirements, the facilities engineer must be very strong at verbal and written, presentation communication skill sets. Further, candidate will be extremely proactive in engaging the client on surface facilities issues and have superior ability at building positive working relationships with the project team.

The successful candidate will be extremely proactive, engaging in client's office and visible leadership with his work to quickly assess modelling and facilities planning issues, engage the client in range of practical solution sets, and be able to independently produce well intervention/remedial procedures for execution. Weekly reporting and presentation updates to the client will be a requirement of this position.

The project plans to add at least 14 producing wells in 2018/2019 and 12 wells in 2019/2020 and ramp production up to 45,000 by 2020.

Greenfield development requires immediate, integrated urbanization planning with other projects in North Kuwait.

Lead Contracts Engineer

Job Purpose

To provide high level of understanding of legal and technical issues in order to resolve disputes and resolve complex commercial issues.
Responsible for high value commercial activities including the tendering procedures, change management, contract preparation, negotiation of terms and conditions and provide practical commercial solutions to any claims or disputes. Advise user departments in relation to contract process management to ensure all commercial activities are carried out in line with the company contracting guidelines. Lead the Contract Commitment Team (CCT) in the preparation of sourcing strategy, tender board memos and post contract performance reviews throughout the contracts active lifecycle.

Job Requirements

  • Drilling contracts experience essential
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree required; Law Degree preferred.
  • Ideally with a post-graduate qualification in Contract Management or in a complementary area.
  • 10 years' contracts experience in oil and gas operations or similar industries.
  • Extensive experience in the preparation and negotiation of tenders/contracts of small/medium/large scale projects with complexity and diversity.
  • Working experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, preferably Oracle.
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of contract and legal terms.
  • Demonstrate a high level of commercial and technical knowledge.
  • Proficient in contractual correspondence, contract verbatim and report writing.
  • Good knowledge of contract law; knowledge of oil and gas contract terms and conditions a plus.
  • Firm negotiator and Customer service oriented.
  • Self-directed and highly motivated.
  • Ability to prioritise amongst various demands and working well under pressure.
  • Ability and willingness to effectively coach and develop less experienced team members.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written English communication skills.
