Senior Completions Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, mechanical or petroleum engineering are preferred.


Experience

  • Minimum of ten (10) years' completions and workover experience for oil and gas wells with a major operator.
  • A strong track record as a Completion Engineer including expertise in completion design.
  • Work experience in the Middle East and North Africa region preferred.

  • Interpersonal skills necessary to establish good working relationships with teams.
  • High proficiency with IT and industry software including Tubing Movement Modelling, nodal analysis, torque and drag.

Senior Operator (LNG Terminal)

Senior Operator LNG
Job Purpose
Operate and monitor all operational aspects of the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Jetty maintenance consistent with acceptable industry standards and company procedures in accordance to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).
Monitor Cargo Transfer Operations and Produce reports for LNG and the Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) Operations.
Key Result Areas (Key Accountabilities)
Health Safety Environment

  1. Regularly monitor and promptly report any safety concerns, environmental hazards, incidents and unsafe acts & conditions for LNG Jetty and FSRU.
  2. Conduct regular safety audit and follow up for the outstanding action items
  3. Comply with Company safety standard, Port Authority and Industry safety requirements.
  4. Assist Terminal Lead for preparation and coordination with FSRU and Port Authority for Emergency Exercises
  5. Responsible as Area Authority in the Control of Work system for any activities on the LNG Jetty
  6. Perform initial gas tests and isolation & purging of Jetty process and equipment for maintenance works and ensure that control measures are in place as stated in Work Permit and Risk Assessment. Reinstate isolations and equipment on completion of maintenance, and carry out function test before handover.
  7. Coordinate scheduled maintenance of the Jetty with Maintenance Department, OEM and other service providers. Monitor field activities on the jetty ensuring the HSE guidelines and procedures are followed and all premeditated conditions are met at all time during maintenance and inspections.
  8. Operate connection & disconnection of Loading Arm, Gangway, Jetty Crane and emergency diesel generator when required.
  9. Perform routine checks, daily log and housekeeping of the LNG Jetty.
  10. Conduct safety induction to LNG Terminal visitors, organize and escort their visits ensuring LNG Terminal regulations and procedures are followed.
  11. Regularly check on the spare parts of LNG Jetty which are kept onboard FSRU, update the record and request for replacement as required.
  12. Regularly check on quantity and physical conditions of the gas sample bottles. Maintain record of the utilization of the retention and lab sample bottles for every cargo, and follow up with laboratory as required.
  13. Raise maintenance request and identify the priorities for both planned/ unplanned works.
  14. Liaise with support vessels for loading/offloading of material as and when required for LNG Jetty.
  15. Process Non Objection Certificate (NOC) request from Port Authorities for FSRU & Jetty visitors to allow port entry permit.
  1. Monitor and witness STS cargo transfer process, and maintain the detailed record of sequences starting from NOR to LNGC hose disconnection & cast-off. Track and record the details for utilization of lay-time, anomalies observed and LOP issues.
  2. Check and verify LNGC arrival temperatures & pressures are in line with terminal regulations, and discharge quantities as per commercial instruction.
  3. Assist Terminal Lead in execution of LNGC arrival communication protocol as per below list but not limited to:
    1. Forward 90 days schedule to Port & FSRU
    2. Provide condition of use to LNGC captain
    3. Survey intimation letter for planned LNG cargo transfer
    4. Cargo discharge operation schedule to LNGC & FSRU, Regas plan during cargo discharge to FSRU
    5. Forward Commercial instruction & cargo load port documents to FSRU
    6. Berth instruction to port for LNGC arrival
    7. Soft and Hard copy record for all LNGC STS operation
  4. Attend pre/post cargo discharge meeting onboard visiting LNGC. Coordinate with surveyor and cargo officers in measuring and recording the cargoes quality and quantity. Check and verify the preliminary cargo transfer report.
  5. Assist LNG Terminal Lead for cargo discharge plan using the approved cargo management model.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree


Experience Profile:

  • minimum 6 years of experience in LNG Terminal/ FSRU or similar facilities
  • Level-2 crane operator competency
  • Good understanding of Marine equipment such as fender, mooring system, and navigation buoys, etc.


Competencies/Skills/Others:

  • Able to operate Marine Loading Arm
  • Able to manage operational aspects of contractors
  • Well-developed troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Strong written and spoken English language skills

Lead Commissioning Engineer
The Lead Commissioning Engineer works closely and coordinates with other groups within and outside Client Establishment to prepare and execute a complete commissioning plan which includes;

  • Developing Company mechanical completion manual.
  • Developing and implementing mechanical completion and Commissioning procedures Project by Project.
  • Resource planning for each project.
  • Developing and implementing handover procedures.



Educational Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Experience profile
15 years varied Instrumentation/Electrical/System design, installation hook up and commissioning.
Working knowledge and experience in offshore oil and gas industry codes, specifications and practices and of international standards and specifications including various equipment certifications.
Experience in instrumentation, Electrical, Control systems including Distributed Control System (DCS) and Programmable Logic Control (PLC).
Hands on Mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and Commissioning experience.
Offshore experience (required to work for offshore for short term and long periods).
Working knowledge of various control system manufactures/supplies including but not limited to Allen Bradley, Honeywell, Emerson, Invensys and the various types of Control systems they provide such as Control Logix.
Knowledge of safety procedures for commissioning such as Permit to Work, Lock out Tag out (LOTO) and familiarity with Process Safety management, mechanical completions.
Competencies / Skills / Others
Effective verbal and written English language communication skills ensuing effective report writing skills.
Comfortable to communicate, with the ability to influence, with personnel of all levels whilst working in a remote and multi-cultured environment.
Instrumentation selection and DCS, PLC and Human Machine Interface (HMI) Programming skills.
Proficient in various software/hardware development and trouble shooting skills.
Leadership skills to deputise for senior personnel (group Manager or Lead Engineers) at times when not available in the office.
