Assignment Scope: Primary Roles & Responsibilities:

* Establish and maintain pressure vessels, storage tanks and piping up-to-date register and inspection data in Plant Condition Management Software (PCMS )
* Coordinate timely entry of inspection report data into PCMS.
* Monitor PCMS for proper function of the scheduling, calculation, and synchronization modules.
* Coordinate development and execution annual integrated inspection plan for all GPBU assets and track execution status to ensure compliance.
* Assist asset integrity inspectors on creating inspection schedule and inspection work pack for planned inspections.
* Coordinate development of GPBU long term 5-10 Year Inspection Plan and coordinate periodic review to maintain the plan is updated.
* Coordinate asset integrity inspection budget development for each GPBU asset.
* Conduct preliminary analysis and trending of inspection data and provide customized reports.
* Collect Asset Integrity KPI (Scorecard) data from each GPBU asset, generate KPI report and facilitate KPI review meetings.
* Collect loss of containment data, conduct analysis and generate analysis report in regular basis.
* Synchronize PCMS data with asset control (SAP) data as necessary.
Basic/Required Qualifications
* Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions
* High school diploma/GED
* 3 years of experience as a technician in a similar technical documentation role
* Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Spotfire and SAP
* Proficiency with PCMS or other Inspection Data Management Software Programs
Preferred Qualifications
* Associates / Bachelor degree in Technology
* API 510, 570, 653 certificates
* 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and efficiently prioritize work to meet deadlines.
* Familiarity with documentation processes used in oil and gas operations such as MOC, asset transfers, etc

Sr. Instrument Engineer

Petroplan's client, a leading downstream development group is looking to add a Sr. Instrument Engineer to join their team. This role is responsible for ensuring the Safety Instrumented System functions safely, efficiently, and reliably, with the objective of meeting business goals for production while minimizing unscheduled equipment down time.
Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Instrument and Controls Engineering team
  • Subject Matter Expert on Instrumentation, Safety Instrumented Systems, Fire and Gas Systems and Process Control
  • Responsible for the Safety Instrumented System (SIS) validation, review, and configuration changes, together with development/review of SIS processes and procedures
  • Review and develop where necessary maintenance routines and procedures for Instrumentation and SIS systems
  • Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
  • Participation in HAZOPs and HAZIDs as required
  • Provide final check and approval of detail instrument and electrical design drawings, as well as instrument specification sheets


Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrument, Controls, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
  • 10 years direct experience with process control automation systems (DCS and PLC) and/or instrumentation/electrical design or experience in Instrumented Protective Systems, in an LNG Export/Import or petrochemical manufacturing facility
  • Experience with Honeywell DCS
  • Functional Safety Professional (FSP) or Certified Functional Safety Expert (CFSE) preferred
  • Licensed P.E. preferred

Sr. Electrical Engineer

This role is accountable for ensuring the Electrical System, from 138kV to Low Voltage, functions safely, efficiently, and reliably, with the objective of meeting business goals for production while minimizing unscheduled equipment down time.
Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Electrical Engineering team
  • Review Power System Model updates
  • Review and verification of application of relays, schematic diagrams, equipment ratings and protection documents
  • Owner of Electrical Operating Philosophies, Electrical Operations Manuals, maintenance strategies and procedures for Electrical systems
  • Participation in HAZOPs and HAZIDs as required
  • Update short circuit studies, coordination studies, and Arc Flash Hazard assessments
  • Maintain Power System Models and proactively monitor the electric utility grid configuration


Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
  • 15 years direct experience with HV and MV electrical power systems and HV Cable Systems, application and programming of Protective Relays
  • Familiarity with the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70E, Safety in Design, and Safety in the field
  • Licensed P.E. preferred

Provides assistance to the construction field services team with daily tasks and general support. Coordinates construction scheduling and communication.
Acts as a liaison to Construction Supervisor(s) reporting on field safety, project progress, or delays.
Coordinates field oversight of the installation of equipment and components in assigned field.
Requires technical knowledge to assist installing contractors.
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Leads HSE performance by communicating, fostering, supporting, and enforcing HSE policies, procedures, guidelines, requirements, and objectives.
Promotes the use of HSE Leading Indicators, Proactive Measures and Predictive Indicators.
Provides construction input into the implementation of "Safety Through Design" process.
May provide technical review of bids and submissions.
Provides technical/functional and/or administrative support.
General working knowledge of specific systems, terminology and procedures used within the department.
