Job Description:

  • Performs maintenance functions such as repairs on down-hole tools, surface equipment and other production equipment in the application for down-hole tools.
  • Assembles and disassemble down-hole tools, surface equipment, and other production equipment.
  • Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization.
  • Error is readily ascertainable by the supervisor and can be corrected.
  • Skills are typically acquired through completion of an Associates degree or similar education or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Given the nature of oil field service work, the ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary.
  • The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.
  • Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.

This is your opportunity to join an industry leader in the Oilfield Services industry as a Business Development Manager, selling top-tier Solids Control equipment to both global and independent Oil Companies. The successful candidate will be a true hunter with established contacts to immediately capitalize on. This is a direct hire position, located remotely in Texas.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Identify and develop new business through active presence in territory
* Maintain constant communication with current and prospective clients to update them on the latest equipment and services
* Create custom solutions for the Solids Control needs of clients through active listening
* Create and deliver sales presentations

* Performs other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have:

* Minimum of High School diploma; 4 year degree is a plus
* Must have at least 2-3 years of Oilfield sales experience

* Approximately 50-60% travel
* Must be eligible to work in US

Job Duties:

  • Calibrate testing equipment ranging from; micrometers calipers, plug & ring gages, height gages, dial gages, bore gages, mic-trac, FARO Arm, CMM and various other testing equipment.
  • Adhere to calibration procedures and specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain calibration documentation and input to database as required.
  • Work with third party vendors to schedule and maintain calibrations on equipment that cannot be calibrated internally.
  • Generate monthly calibration reports, outlining upcoming calibration dates, number of equipment needing calibration, total calibrated for the month and various other metrics.
  • Basic understanding of measurement uncertainties.
  • Maintain standards and measuring instruments and test procedures utilized by the company.
  • Write calibration procedures as needed for new equipment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of technical experience in metrology, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of metrology in accordance with ISO17025:2005, ISO 9001:2008, and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1.
  • Knowledge of measurement parameters and procedures of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
  • Knowledge of basic electronics, engineering, and metrology principles, theories and concepts in accordance with standard company procedures and policies.
  • Ability to work with all types of electronic test equipment.

  • May be required to read blueprints, utilize Esprit software, perform varying levels of shop mathematics associated with machining operations, and perform inspection procedures to verify work.

Immediate vacancies for experienced CNC programmers in a Calgary based downhole tool manufacturing company servicing the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate must be experienced in multi axis CNC operations.
This position is on a shift cycle with set hours a week, requirement for overtime is based on scale and timeline of individual projects. Permanent position based on completion of probationary period.
Job Description:

  • Requires machine programming, set up, clean down, and visual inspection of completed parts.
  • Ensuring all parts are manufactured according to design requirements
  • Service equipment as necessary to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Adherence to client tolerances must be met.
  • Adhere to deadlines of manufacturing work orders
  • Always maintain a safe and clean work area


Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience programming CNC operation in Milling, Turning or both.
  • Experienced on CAD-CAM packages such as MasterCAM, EdgeCAM, etc.
  • Experience with multiple material types e.g. Carbon Steels, Brass, Aluminium, Inconel, and Stainless Steel.
  • Ability to read and understand basic drawings
  • Ability to verify dimensions of parts machined using basic measuring tools such as micrometers, callipers, bore gages and other precision measuring instruments
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
