The role:

  • Managing a client or a portfolio of existing clients, identifying new commercial opportunities and maximising these opportunities increasing gross profit

Requirements:

  • Have strong experience in recruitment (3 years), with a proven track record in billing and delivery against KPIs
  • Preference for experience of setting up operations in new countries
  • Can demonstrate a good understanding of the financial drivers of a business to enable delivery of your P&L and improvement in gross profit against each client
  • A strong background in client development including an in-depth understanding of how to build relationships with clients.
  • Can demonstrate good experience in developing and maintaining client and candidate relationships, including with passive candidates
  • Have a charismatic and can-do attitude, can bring solutions and contribute ideas

Project Engineer - Umbilicals and Flexibles
The Umbilicals Engineer will be responsible for the specification, design, delivery, maintenance and operational support of subsea production systems (SPS) and is the single face to the subsea equipment suppliers.
You will play a key part of the subsea projects team and plays an important role in developing and delivering cost effective subsea projects. The Umbilicals and Flexibles team is growing to deliver hardware and services for the ongoing Projects across all regions.
The role will hold ultimate responsibility for the delivery (specification, design, procurement, verification, manufacturing, validation) of all umbilicals and flexibles hardware and services for specified Projects within the portfolio.
Key Accountabilities:
* Provide discipline engineering support for umbilical and flexible deliveries and interfaces with umbilicals and flexibles suppliers for specified Projects.
* Integration and management of interfaces between the umbilicals and flexibles suppliers and project system engineering (EPMS), connection system supplier (SPS), installation contractor (EPIC), logistics contractor and Services team.
* Demonstrate good safe work practices and be proactive in ensuring safe practices at all times including a strong influence role with suppliers.
* Identify Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) risks and communicate as appropriate
* Manage the supplier selection and award process for umbilicals and flexibles ensuring best value is achieved and contract is placed to meet project schedule requirements.
* Review, comment, and approve design documentation, quality plans and other procedures as appropriate.
* Budget management of contracts. Working with Project Services, responsible for accurate cost and schedule forecasting in support of in year quarterly updates.
* Build strong working relationships with the key suppliers.
* Identify and manage key engineering and delivery risks and provide input to project risk management and mitigation action plans.
* Manage the interfaces between key stakeholders, including engineering contractors, installation contractors and suppliers.
* Read, understand, implement, and reinforce use of Company's Management of Change process and manage any changes to the scope rigorously and in compliance with the project MOC process.
* Assist in the performance of all project assurance activities, including the management of Design Verification Plans.
Essential Experience and Job Requirements
* Technical expertise with umbilicals / flexible pipes
* Track record and experience with SPS/SURF
* Track record of package delivery and/or supplier's management
* Track record of managing people / teams located or remote
* Knowledge of good engineering practice
* Familiarity with codes and standards for umbilicals (API 17E) and Flexibles (API 17J)
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* In-depth knowledge of good engineering practice
* Support the collection and reporting of key performance data for umbilicals and flexibles product designs, manufacture and installation.
* Part of a Global engineering and delivery team, sharing lessons and collaborating across Projects.
* Travel: Role will be based in South East England

Essential Education
* Bachelors' Degree or higher qualification in an Engineering discipline.
* Chartered or Professional Engineer

Desirable Criteria:
* Offshore or manufacturing site experience
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.

? To provide technical and administrative support to the Well Delivery function during the execution of the Sasol drilling campaign.
Responsibilities / key objectives:
? Attend and facilitate the Department Meetings
? Focal point for all reporting (weekly, monthly etc.) in Well Delivery. Develop and produce Report Template with operations review and performance Statistics. Custodian of KPI sheet.
? Liaise with the Supply Chain and Project Controls internally to meet reporting requirements.

? Support recording actions in meetings and preparation of minutes as and when required.

? In addition, provide other general TA / PA support to Group Drilling Function, where required.

What the job involves:

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a smaller, rapidly expanding subsidiary of a FTSE 100 listed organisation based in Central London, that currently has assets across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas.

This is a diverse role and you will need to have the confidence to run with various projects and deal with senior individuals (CFO and equivalent level). The role sits within a small, newly formed team, and will work closely with another Controller, and will be diverse with new challenges daily. You must be a self-starter, hard-working and able to embrace challenges as and when they arise, with limited support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review of internal management reports as well as preparation of board reporting packs
  • Preparing consolidated financial statements and monthly reports
  • Responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of various parent/'holdco' companies
  • Liaising with local Managers at the Assets
  • Identifying areas for improvement in the control environment across the group, and assisting in implementing changes to address these
  • Taking control of issues as and when they arise and seeing them through to resolution
  • Managing annual budgeting process across the group
  • Assist in co-ordinating audit process for group accounts as well as certain holdco companies
  • Transfer pricing studies, analysis and documentation

Education, Qualification and Experience Required

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with min 5 years PQE
  • Strong technical accounting background - Consolidations a must;
  • Commercial acumen relating to financial analysis;
  • Big 4 articles desirable;
  • As the Assets are Global, Strong Tax knowledge would be advantageous
  • Proficient in Excel and Basic Accounting Packages (SAP; Hyperion);
  • Experience in preparation of consolidated financial statements and managing audits.
  • Must have strong excel with experience preparing and consolidating financial statements
  • Strong academics
  • SAP as well as HFM or Hyperion systems experience desirable

  • Minimum 2-3 years Supply Chain Management experience
  • Must have experience in at least 3 of the following: Inventory, Logistics, Purchasing, Fixed Asset & Contracts
  • Must have experience of using SAP, ideally S4 HANA rather than ECC/Business Suite.
  • Must have experience in at least one of the following SAP modules: Materials Management, Sourcing & Procurement, Supply Chain
  • Must have experience of SAP ACTIVATE methodology

Nice to have:

  • ARIBA experience
  • Fieldglass experience
  • Concur experience
  • Understanding of AGILE project methodology.

Languages:

  • Must speak/read/write English.
  • Nice to have: French and/or Arabic.

Job Description:

  • Acts as the primary point of contact for the Customer Project Manager
  • Complete S4 HANA ACTIVATE project tasking's throughout the Project Life Cycle.
  • Provides S4 HANA training to the end users in their respective dept. (Train the Trainer)
  • Persuasive communicator and good listener.
  • Participates in AGILE SPRINTS with the SAP installation team.
  • Participates in AGILE daily Stand-Up meetings with the SAP installation team.
  • Participate in the Fit/GAP/Delta Workshops with SAP installation team.
  • Participate in the cutover planning.
  • Participate in the Hyper-Support activities immediately after S4 HANA go-live.
  • Maintain & prioritise the Product Backlog
  • Engage with SAP Installation team for scope clarification workshops.
  • Define scope features through Model Company and Best Practices Explorer
  • Participate & Identify legacy items for data cleansing.
  • Engage with SAP Installation team to identify WRICEF requirements (Reports, Interface, Conversion, Enhancements and Forms).
  • Identify Business Subject Matter Experts (SME's) for any feature clarifications.
  • Understands the current ERP workflow & processes for their respective dept.
  • Participates in test cycles for S4 HANA scope items.
  • Approves testing for S4 HANA scope features.
  • Review & champion S4 HANA self-enablement materials for their dept.

  • Permanent/ residential role

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluation of the current drilling practices within operator and its contractor
  • Implementation of an efficient well delivery business process leading to lowering of drilling cost and accelerating production
  • Ensure the correct management of the drilling operations by optimizing the assets and equipment and supervising the execution of the activities
  • Minimizing HSE incident level
  • Review detailed job programs for its compliance with well delivery process
  • Develop and execute well delivery plans

Requirements

  • Significant technical and contractual competency
  • Have demonstrated the ability to manage multiple drilling rigs at one time in a safe and cost-effective manner
  • Have experience drilling directional wells along with a detailed understanding of directional and horizontal drilling techniques and equipment
  • Technical skills: 20 years of well delivery experience in upstream Oil & Gas industry. Including managing day rate and turnkey contracts
