The role reports to the RD&T Sector Manager and is accountable for Category Management responsibilities primarily with the Seismic Sub-Sector and additional RD&T Sub-Sectors.


The role will primarily support the global Seismic Category Leads in development and implementing Category strategies, managing Category demand, managing supplier relationships, delivering business value, supporting sourcing and contracting delivery, ensuring compliance, and reducing operational risk through efficient and effective delivery in line with demand plans.


Category Specialist - RD&T Seismic

  • Support the development, delivery, and implementation of Global Category Strategies for Seismic acquisition, data processing, and data library/license.
  • Support the development and management of accurate demand forecasts and demand data for assigned Sub-Categories.
  • Work with Line representatives to align the Category Management Plan with most current business plans.
  • Understand the range of products/services inside Category, supply characteristics and the interdependencies of the global and regional supply market (i.e., market intelligence)
  • Manage relationships with senior stakeholders such as Res Dev Director of Geophysics and Seismic Delivery, Region Seismic Delivery Managers, and VP Exploration while influencing sourcing and contracting decisions.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop innovative solutions for supply of seismic acquisition, processing, and license procurement.
  • Support S&C in execution of sourcing and contracting to deliver effective and efficient sourcing activity; conformance with CMcp, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, assurance of spend within approved budgets and where applicable, JF partner and NOC approval.
  • Work closely with CAMs to support supplier management activities by providing performance data against agreed KPIs, addressing HSSE performance, implementing and managing supplier Continuous Improvement Plans / Performance Improvement Plans as directed.
  • Support RD&T in the management of contracts for the global category - working with Procurement Services, Line/CAMs, Technology Commercial Management, and Category teams (including contract renewals, change requests / variations, cost management, etc.).
  • Coordinate and engage HSE, Quality, Finance, Technical and Legal specialists as required to support sourcing and supplier management activities.


Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering, Procurement or other technical discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple disciplines, cultures and geographies, across organizational boundaries and levels within the client and with suppliers.
  • Working knowledge of systems such as Ariba, Backbone and SAP will be an asset and software tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access, etc

Hot Oiler Truck Operator

Job Description:

It will be the Hot Oiler Truck Operator (HOTO) responsibility to assist the well site Drilling, Completions and production teams to operate the Hot Oiler Truck and it systems, including treating and heating fluids at high pressure and temperature while observing gauges, equipment and safe operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Competent in the preparation of commissioning planning and reporting
  • Competent in understanding and explaining related documentation: Pre start-up safety review (PSSR) procedures, Confined space entry, Control of work (Permit to Work), HAZOP/ HAZID and safety override planning and Competent in troubleshooting Heater Control & Modulation and Pressure & Flow Control
  • Operating high pressure pump and burner for heating fluids
  • Operating high pressure pump to circulate hot oil or water down flow lines, tubing and casing to melt and remove paraffin build-up
  • Operating high-pressure pump to test the integrity of tubing and casing
  • Observing equipment gauges and indicators and hand signals to monitor job activities and conditions
  • Frequent standing during fluid heating operations
  • Lifting, carrying and laying out hoses and joints of pipe from the truck unit to the wellhead or battery. May be required to lift over 50
  • Connecting and disconnecting hoses and joints of pipe using hand tools

Qualifications/Experience/Training

  • High School equivalent education
  • Valid class-1 drivers license and be able to drive standard 18 speed transmission trucks with a 5 year safe driving record
  • Physically fit for manual labour which includes OGUK medical physical
  • Mechanical background
  • Able to communicate in the English language, spoken and written
  • Knowledge and understanding how the 8 million BTU burner

Overall Responsibilities

  • Oversee the hiring process from releasing new positions to agencies, to setting up interviews and preparing all relevant new hire paperwork
  • Support on the annual performance management process across business areas, including completion statistics at objective setting, mid-year and year-end reports
  • Running the monthly reporting and being the key custodian of headcount figures in the various areas and providing updates to the business as directed
  • Assist with the monthly payroll, collating timesheets, liaising with managers and highlighting any issues to the HR Advisor and HR Business Partner accordingly
  • Overseeing the recruitment process, tracking offers accepted, offers rejected as well as providing Status reports to the London Management team on National recruitment


Detailed duties

  • Monitoring end of probation alerts, following up with relevant managers and confirming end of probation
  • Managing the Vero background screening process
  • Adding starters, leavers and making changes to Workday and SAP
  • Absence partner and HR Administrator security role responsibility
  • Monitoring contractor end dates in Workday, following up with managers and liaising with agencies to confirm renewals / end dates
  • Upload monthly organisational charts to the systems and be the focal point for any inconsistencies and update as appropriate in the system
  • Running monthly headcount reports for the London business
  • Drafting terms and conditions of employment, for signature and sending full Offer packs to future employees, End of probation, change of terms, Drafting reference letters
  • Liaise with the training team to submit TRE forms, edits to the matrix, collate training documents


Key skills/attributes and competencies required

  • 2-3 years in a HR Admin position (from a PLC background/similar role)
  • Ability to work with discretion and understand the importance of confidentiality

Purpose of the job:
? To provide technical and administrative support to the Well Delivery function during the execution of the Sasol drilling campaign.
Responsibilities / key objectives:
? Attend and facilitate the Department Meetings
? Focal point for all reporting (weekly, monthly etc.) in Well Delivery. Develop and produce Report Template with operations review and performance Statistics. Custodian of KPI sheet.
? Liaise with the Supply Chain and Project Controls internally to meet reporting requirements.
? Coordination and arranging meetings internally and externally.
? Morning call video conference set up and liaising with IT on issues related to this, as required.
? Support recording actions in meetings and preparation of minutes as and when required.

This position will support the Senior Leadership team decision-makers with vital feedback on where we can develop as a company. This is an opportunity for someone to really make this role their own as it is the first time that we will be bringing training inhouse.

  • Work closely with the management team to design and deliver training sessions to all via 121 and group sessions.
  • You will be adaptable to the differing levels of abilities and create content to reflect the consultant's needs.
  • In-between core sessions, you will follow the content onto the floor, and offer a fluid approach to training in the form of on-desk coaching. You will have the freedom to support with everything from organisation, to live feedback and closing calls. This will then be followed up with post-call coaching and action points to complete the cycle.
  • Design quality sales training programs within budget limitations
  • Evaluate strengths and weaknesses to identify training needs
  • Design onboarding sessions for new hires and sales trainees.
  • Evaluate sales team performance to ensure incorporation of taught techniques

Petroplan are assisting a client in the search for an Offshore Structural Engineer to work a staff position. The client is a mid-sized operator with offices in Central London, easily accessible easily if you are based outer-London.

The role will be involved with a majority of the engineering and commercial aspects of the company in pre and post-contract stages within assigned projects.

Selected candidates will need to have a proven ability within Offshore structural engineering, particularly in FPSO/FSO Design which includes bridges, substructures and topsides. Technical knowledge should stretch from design through to installation.

Proficiency in SESAM, ANSYS and various other tools for structural analysis is desirable.
